Service was excellent. They were extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. They arrived when they said they would. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again.

They were one of several companies that provided me a quote to replace my gas furnace. Written quote didn't include btu or product name, but should have been similar to a 60,000 Bryant high-efficiency 2-stage gas furnace with variable speed fan. Included Honeywell touch screen thermostat. They were professional.

I saw the 'deal' from Black Lion for a furnace inspection/tune-up on a furnace inspection/tuneup, and after seeing their ratings here, I contacted them. They got back to me within 24 hours, and we had an exchange which answered all my questions and scheduled an appointment with a 3 hour window. About an hour and half in, he emailed me to let me know they were running on the later side andthat he'd call when he was on his way. He got here just under the wire - got right to it, wrote the report and explained it all to me in detail. He was both personable and professional - gave great service and great pricing. Highly recommend and will DEFINITELY work with them again! :)

This was primarily an inspection that I had put off for some time. An earlier inspection had suggested that our furnace was shot and needed to be replaced. However, it subsequently has worked fine for the past year. We got this inspection to make sure that we were not missing something. The inspection went fine, no issues were found and my wife thought he was "knowledgeable and friendly." We would use him again.

Ben thoroughly explained the options and trade-offs to me. He always showed up when he said he would and started promptly first thing on the agreed upon date. I tend to hang around a lot and watch because I am curious and I want to make sure a good job is being done. I'm sure contractors find this annoying, but Ben and his team were always friendly and patient with me - in addition to doing an excellent job. Ben even showed up after a day or so to make sure everything was working as it should. I have no complaints at all and heartily recommend Ben and his team at Black Lion.

Unfortunately the same problem happened again after only 1 season. How good could their service have been? I called them back hoping they would step up to the plate and fix the problem. They treated me like I was a first time customer. Demanded $85 for a visit even though I had an existing relationship with them. I was told someone would call you back, but they must have thrown my phone number in the trash and forgotten about me. Unfortunately Black Lion does not know anything about customer service. Buyer beware.

service man was on time, thorough and showed me what he did, including the condition of various parts, expected life of parts, suggested maintenance items, etc. patiently answered all my questions and made sure I understood his answers. very professional.

Tech showed up promptly and was very professional. Showed me an old part that would likely need replacing this winter.

Excellent service from the first phone call to the final permit inspection was scheduled. Our side yard is not large, and Brian called the city inspector as soon as he left to determine if we could install a slimline unit next to the house, and received approval. They were priced better than other quotes we recevied. On the install date, they sent several crews at different time internvals who performed specific jobs. As part of the install, I also schedule a cleaning of the ductwork and a gas line extension. The work was completed at 5:30. As part of the final checklist, I was given the 2 permits for eletrical and structural, and had to phone their office to schedule it. Once scheduled, the inspectors came out and everything was perfect. Overall an uneventful experience with a solid company.

Braxten Tacbian provided the service. He is extremely knowledgeable and efficient, and he was willing to explain everything to me. He was on time for both appointments. I am very happy with his work, his friendly attitude, and his professionalism.

Contacted Angie's list with issue who credit our bill and recon tact service providers. Called and have air condition tune now scheduled for mid July...not optimal. Hopeful they show up and do the job in July, but need to wait to see if they do.

Braxton showed up on time and was very professional. He did a great job cleaning our furnace, and he walked through all the pieces of the furnace with me and explained why they need to be clean and what to look for if there are any problems.

Very happy with the service we received. The Tech was professional,courteous and honest. He did not try to tell us we needed any repairs now just that in a couple of years we would need to replace a part and even gave us a reasonable quote. Will definitely have them back next year for another tune-up.

First, my initial consultation with the owner Ben, was great. He was punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable about his business. He made sure to answer any questions I had, made recommendations based on his experience. Example he could have recommended the more expensive air conditioner but explained how the one he was suggesting would work better for the size of my house. We setup the install date to be done about a week and half later. The day of the install, the HVAC team, Jason and Renzo, did a wonderful job and I couldn't be happier. They showed up on time, got to work quickly and were very friendly and professional during the install. Everything was cleaned up after the fact. The electrical team, Kiernan and Matt, were just great. They walked me through what they needed to do, made sure I was happy and okay with the plan before starting any work. At the end, Jason walked me through how to use my new thermostat and made sure any and all questions were answered. Really I couldn't be happier with the work and experience I had with Black Lion. I would highly recommend them, so much so I decided to sign an annual maintenance plan with them so they can keep my new air conditioner and furnace in tip top shape.

Went extremely wel! They showed up on time, went right to work, kept us informed of progress, and left in timely manner. Cleaned up all areas. Came back and installed a new up to date thermostat that is wonderful! Easy to use and great options. AC works great as does the water heater.

After a long bid process, we finally agreed to use Black Lion. They were able to match all the bids we got and clearly were aggressive at getting our business. I assumed this would mean that we would receive their best service. Mostly accurate. All good things to say about the company, they even put in our extended warranties for us. The only knock is that the cold air return box they installed the first time was poorly done. I tried to address it on the day of install but they said it was fine. They had to come out and redo it, but the underlying issue is that they cut too aggressively and they had to extend the flashing to cover the gap. Otherwise, I am happy with everything else. Would definitely hire them again.
