Ok. The two workers knew their jobs and work was completed in the time estimated.

Showed up on time. Worked cleanly. Very efficient work and cleaned up after themselves. Very polite and professional. Installation went smoothly and the finally product is very nice. A few days later I noticed that the compressor wasn't turning on and I called them and they were out in 2 hours and figured it out in 30 minutes. Back to cool air again. Highly recommend them. I even signed up for their annual maintenance plan.

They did the initial installation during a cold snap. They arrived on time with their whole crew and worked hard all day to ensure we weren't cold that night. The quality of the work done was very good, I have done a lot of electrical work in the past and was very pleased. The foreman was up front telling me they were training a new guy that day and so things might move a little slower but they would be done at the end of the day. When they ran into a few complications not visible at estimation time because of crazy things done by previous homeowners (not related to the new guy or the equipment) he stayed late to ensure a things were working well and answer questions. For annual maintenance on this system they have shown up on time. They have done the basics well, informed me of any concerns, replaced the filter etc.... They've also done some extras such as fixing a rattling panel that involved drilling holes in the equipment and sinking screws and cleaning up a bit. While we've not quite seen the reduction in energy bills promised with the equipment relative to our old equipment, we have seen some reduction, and the comfort level with it is many orders of magnitude better! Everyone we've interacted with from here has been personable, professional and punctual. Our only complaint would be they do not always call the day before hand to confirm appointments, but they've always shown up.

One of my outdoor units stopped working (making a loud buzzing sound and not spinning) after the workman left. I realized later than he did not ask me to switch off power to the HVAC system before he checked the fuse, fan/motor and capacitor on the unit. The capacitor is blown. In the meantime, I will be cooking in the heat for a couple of days.

Limited work completed essentially just turned in units and listened for any problems. One unit he cleaned out the other he told me there was too much stuff and he didn't have the time to clean it out. Told me I could clean it out and it was easy.

Eldon Presson who removed the old water heater, and installed the new did an excellent job. He was very friendly and helpful regarding the installation.

I ordered the AC tune up and found out very little was covered but at least they would clean the coil. When I checked on the work I noticed they didn't put the coil cover back in place right and air was leaking everywhere.....which is just lazy. However when I decided to just put the panel back in place myself I found out the AC installer siliconed the panel shut, so there was absolutely no way they could have cleaned the coil which was basically the whole point of the service. No mention in the report.

I purchased an Angie's List special for a new water heater, for my parents, with Black Lion Heating & Air Conditioning. The scheduling and installation went very well, except for a slight misunderstanding. They brought a gas water heater when my parents needed electric but they exchanged it immediately and installed the correct one the same day. My mother said that they were very courteous and that everything was installed to their satisfaction. My parents and I would definitely recommend and use Black Lion Heating & Air Conditioning again.

I can see why Black Lion is highly reviewed and rated on Angie's List. The offered a great price on a leading brand water heater with installation. They were super fast in being able to schedule the installation and removal of the old tank. The technicians were punctual, professional, courteous, and left everything tidy. Simply a perfect experience all the way around.

The guy did not find the root cause and suggested to change the valve and pilot assembly. For that they charged $200 After a day the quote came: $1500. Of course I did not do it. I debugged it myself and found that the thermopile was broken. Cost $25 plus about 2h work. After repeated calls they said they were not specialized in fireplaces. Why did they not say it at the beginning? Stay away from them.

Great experience with Black Lion...quick responsive service. Easy appointment setup,knowledgable on the phone and the crew was at my house ontime and finished up in less than 2 hours. Would hire then again for any HVAC services

AMAZING!! Brad was so nice and patient. They had 2 more employees come out to assist with and install the breaker (I did not catch their names). Great communication. Also, they even had to deal with me getting preauthorization through my insurance and were so accommodating, I am so very thankful. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat!!

While replacing the water heater, they damaged my dryer. At first, they told me that they will fix the damage. However, the installation manager who was responsible for that started coming up with all kinds of excuses for not fixing it. A month and 20 emails later they fixed half of the damage, and refused to fix the remaining part with no explanations whatsoever. Very poor customer service, will steer away from them in the future.

Very nice man that came in and cleaned my furnace. They were great.

I have a strong hunch that the technician was trying to scam us into purchasing a brand new furnace for the following reasons: -He told my wife that he noticed a crack in the heat exchanger, but when I spoke with him over the phone, he mentioned that there was only signs of wear and tear. -He mentioned that he could not remove the heat exchanger without removing the entire furnace. Although this may be true, when I asked for a quote to do the work, he mentioned a couple times that it would be awfully expensive to do the repair and suggested that we consider replacing the whole unit. -He mentioned that it appeared as if a homeowner installed the furnace, but gave no specifics as to why this was the case.
