Description of Work: Bought the package and got a reply, but the name on the email was Robert. I replied and corrected it, but got no reply. I was scheduled for July 20th. On the 18th, I called to find out what time they were coming(since it was not in the email) and was told she could not find the order. I told her I bought it on Angie's List and she said she found it, and that my order "fell though the cracks". I was given a time of 130pm on the 20th. When the rep arrived, he looked at my setup and said I would have to buy a Bryant air conditioner for it to work, since we did not have enough room. Also we would have had to spend 1200 dollars as well. I felt that it was not something they wanted to do. The rep did not give us an alternatives as well. We really wanted the air conditioner. I will be looking for more options with Costco.

Description of Work: Furnace checkup. And specifically, we wanted our blower looked at, it has been very noisy. The gentleman tightened up some loose parts and made it much better. |He also gave us an estimate of when some furnace parts should be replaced, and told us the expected lifetime of our furnace.

Description of Work: I bought a big deal for $59 to have them do an annual A/C maintenance check. I like Black Lion because they have 2 hour windows.I got the day & time I wanted.Had to cancel.When I rescheduled got an exact time.Braxton called right before with flat tire problems but I had cleared my schedule so he came right after getting it fixed.He did a thorough exam & found a couple of problems that could have cost me a lot of money & more importantly could have broken down in this heat.He explained the issues so I could understand them, quoted me prices & went to work with my okay.He found he was missing 1 part so did everything else & promised he would return the next day & finish.There was no need for me to be present.He said once he was finished I would see a major difference in the temperature output. Boy, did I!Through all of this Braxton was friendly & professional & kept me informed of everything.

Description of Work: Wet well. Very punctual and professional. Heater needed a couple pieces of work done to prevent further damage. I signed up for the annual maintenance program and got 10% off of this work. This was a nice surprise as I thought the discount would only apply to future work. Very pleased.

Description of Work: The completely updated my air conditioning unit and alerted me to have parts replaced that could have caused trouble in the next year or so. Also added a part to my furnace to counter the voltage spike that occurs every time it turns on.

Description of Work: I had an old gas furnace replaced and new air conditioning installed. 4 men came on site and it was done in 1 day. 1 guy came out to clean the duct work (planned / extra). 1 electrician came out and the 2 men who installed the 2 units. We talked. the place where I wanted the ac placed was not directly outside the furnace area but several feet away. they came up with a way to place needed pipes inside the garage and behind boxes there, but not outside exposed to the sun. The work was excellent and I'm very happy they came. (another group thought I needed a larger ac unit, that would have taken up part of the path to my back yard. need that for access for lawn mower and such. this works great, fits in the space available). my one (minor) concern was in getting the electrical work inspected. they left paperwork and I thought I needed to f* on that. I faxed what seemed appropriate paperwork to the electrical company. they called me and said it needed to come from the electrician (hired by Black Lion). It took several calls to arrange. there was some confusion and it was set up, but I wasn't told the time. did happen to come home in time to get it done; and yes all looked great. I would recommend them (and will have many friends visiting me on hot days :-). Oh - I did get the control panel that is accessible via wi fi. LOVE that. can hardly believe I can change the temp when away from home. too cool.
