Description of Work: We have used Black Lion for our home and rentals several times. They were knowledgable and reasonably priced. We did have one incident where no one showed for the appointment but have had no concerns beyond that. We would definitely use their services again.

Description of Work: We were having trouble with our furnace, and asked him to check it out. He told us that the furnace was out, and needed to be replaced. This seemed odd to us, as the house is only 3 years old. We contacted the contractor, who came out and found that there were some copper tubing that had 'sweated', causing some corrosion. He used some steel wool, and cleaned it up, and put on some additional insulation on the tubing. No big deal, and certainly not requiring a whole new furnace. I can't help but think the dude was trying to rip us off.

Description of Work: I used an Angie's List deal to have my furnace annually serviced. They found problems that led to the need to replace my very old furnace. I had previously had my furnace serviced by a different vendor the prior year. It probably needed to be replaced last year. Black Lion took the time to explain to me which parts of the furnace where failing, what actions would happen next that would lead to the full furnace failure, why the parts were not feasible to replace, and what the next steps were needed to replace the furnace. They were patient, respectful, and I highly recommend them for future services.

Description of Work: Furnace install. |These guys were punctual and didn't mess around on the install. They did quality work and cleaned up after themselves. The inspector didn't hesitate signing off on the permit.

From the initial bid through to completion of the work they were professional, showed up on time and were very respectful of our home and property. The office personnel were also extremely helpful in getting our county inspections finalized after one inspector no-showed to two scheduled times - this was above and beyond my expectations. We will be using Black Lion for any and all future heating/cooling services we need.
