Description of Work: I had seen Black Lion trucks in my housing complex and checked them previously in the Angie's list reports. When a big deal came up for furnace maintenance, it was a good opportunity to try them. They were good about being able to set a date / time. Jason was the technician making the call; he was very good about answering my questions from "these filters seem hard to change" (yes, on this model, it is difficult) to age of water heater and how it was hooked into the furnace. I also asked about a heat pump vs my gas furnance and he gave me some figures to consider first about pay back. I would definitely check back with them for additional work along with regular maintenance.

I had purchased their deal for a heater for 59.00 Im very upset that a company would have this type of deal yet never respond to a call to set an appt. They WILL not ever get my business.

Description of Work: There was a little mix up on the date of the service, but once we resoved that, it was perfect. Jason showed up a little early and did a complete service on our 10 year old furnace. Jason obviously knew what he was doing. He was thorough and kind endough to answer my questions while he worked. I was very happy with the job he did. He did not try to sell me anything else and explained a few areas that may need attention in the future. I will definitely use Black Lion Heating again, and hopefully get Jason as the tech.

Description of Work: Had my furnace inspected & cleaned for the coming winter. Ben showed up a few minutes early. No nonsense went straight to work on my furnace. Took it apart and cleaned. Explained to me that my burners will need replacing but the furnace should last a couple more years. My furnace is already 22 years old but I have always maintained it. He didn't once try to sell me on anything or attempt to tell me some bogus sales pitch. Finished the job and was on his way! If you want a straight arrow guy for any heating & AC job, call Ben Ward.

Description of Work: We had the $59 A/C deal on Angies List.Jason came out early, recharged our A/C unit, cleaned it out, and cleaned the cooling fins. I would recommend him for any work. He was a real pleasure to have done the work.
