Here at Alpine Quality Air we are dedicated to elevating your air to the highest quality.
Do you suffer from allergies or experience prolonged sickness in your home? Your indoor air quality could be the culprit. Often one of the most ignored yet most important home maintenance necessities is the air ducts in your home. Often the ducts collect large amounts of dust and debris over the years and go untreated. This causes a constant flow of dust, allergens, and even airborne viruses to circulate through homes air system reintroducing itself over and over again. If you suspect you suffer from poor indoor air quality, professionals are available at affordable prices to identify problems and offer solutions. Give us a call today and we will be happy to answer any questions!

Said that cleaning my furnace and "balancing" the blower would fix I a whooshing sound that I had recently started hearing. Long and short of it- he assured me my furnace was save to operate . Three weeks later he had not contacted me , so PSE was called to check the gas pressure. I had been living with a cracked heat exchanger with CO found in my house. When I contacted AQA-Christopher - I put the PSE employee on the phone to explain what he had found- Christopher was very quiet. My neighbor & I spent a ridiculous amount of money for "cleaning" our furnaces- he found her by the "Our records indicate that it's time for us to service your furnace". Scam! For your own possible safety, I can not recommend this company until they become more knowledgeable about furnaces and more honest when dealing with the public!!!

Christopher, of Alpine Air, came to clean our vents. This was fine, and then he got under our front porch and cleaned the dryer vent. I didn't really care about the ductwork. I wanted the dryer vent cleaned, because none of our clothes were drying in a reasonable amount of time. Hint: If your clothes aren't drying, get that vent cleaned out! He left all of our dryer lint under the front porch. Thanks for that. It's now a wet, soppy mess under there and may never come out. Great. Then he came back inside and he checked the furnace. He told us that our exhaust pipe was full of some sort of sediment, that this was a huge hazard, and that our evidence was at the top of our furnace exhaust. Now, what he didn't know was that we have a longstanding relationship (five years) with a furnace guy we love and trust, and who came out on Christmas Eve to inspect this very furnace. Skeptical, but willing to listen, we nodded along and asked for a bid to deal with this "problem" that he had so helpfully identified for us. He gave it to us on a piece of three-hole punched graph paper, handwritten. It included an electrostatic filter and a full furnace service that he thought was necessary. He then said that if we had a better offer, he'd be happy to match it because he's trying to corner the market around here and it would be helpful. He had offered us a duct sanitation, some sort of deep cleaning of our furnace with sanitation, and that pesky filter. He'd even knock $40 off the price if we did it all as a package for over $400. When I told him that I did not really think we could spend that money without talking to spouse first, he then mentioned that the coupon cost really only covers the cost of advertising, and that he doesn't make any money if he doesn't do anything else. We understand that, but it was incredibly unprofessional to attempt to lay a guilt trip on us for not purchasing his overpriced filter and unnecessary service. We went with our other provider who walked in, looked at the bid, and commented that the other guy was really trying to take us for a ride. $100, our furnace was serviced and has a clean bill of health. WHO THE HECK NEEDS A FURNACE SANITIZED?! Not us. And not you. Don't buy into the hoohah.
Description of Work: Cleaned our ducts with a largish vacuum thing. Cleaned the dryer vent and left a mess under our deck afterward. He also "helpfully" offered to service our furnace and equip us with a new electrostatic furnace filter for an additional ungodly sum of money.
