Joel & the crew at Tree Hugger are incredible. Prior to selecting Joel, I had three other vendors come out and provide bids. Here's why I chose Joel. First, Joel was the only vendor that did not try to sell me unnecessary work. I do not know anything about tree's but I do work in sales and I can easily tell when I'm being sold to. Many tree services just take down trees. Joel asseses the trees and those around them and offers suggestions and money saving ideas. By all means hire him for your needs!

Joel and crew did a great job removing a large pine tree (~30 ft.) adjacent to our home - proximity was challenging. I felt Joel's price quote was very fair. He and his crew were punctual, professional and Joel honored his price quote despite the job taking longer than expected. We were impressed with Joel and his crew from the moment we got the estimate. He was so cordial, very skilled and thorough. The tree was in a difficult spot and we sensed his concern for safety regarding the yard and the surrounding structures. The old massive tree had some surprises of its own and presented some unexpectedly challenges. The crew took them in stride and never let any frustration show in their work. They followed through with their commitment. The debris they shredded and hauled away from the driveway with no evidence of them ever being there. Joel and his crew came out to do canopy restoration on a very large and overgrown Photinia as well as trimming and cleaning up a Camellia on the side of our house. They did an amazing job, working in a very tight space between my garden and our neighbor's fence with a very large and cherished hydrangea below the Photinia. They were efficient and professional, leaving my backyard cleaner than when they began. I would highly recommend their services.

Tree Huggers was great to work with. Joel was prompt, professional and very courteous. He did great work, on time and for exactly the amount quoted. Site was cleaned up, brush hauled away and the trees look fantastic. I would, and will, definitely hire him again.

The whole process went extremely smooth. I was a little worried with our tree being so close to the fence but these guys cut it down masterfully and didn't do any damage. These guys went above and beyond on clean up by going to my roof and blowing out the debris and also cleaning up my neighbors surroundings as well. They were recommended by my brother in law but I did get 3 estimates and they were up to par on other bids. So I'm glad I went with them. Make sure you get a bid from them and I would definitely go with them again even if it was a hundred more than the lowest estimate.

Joel is amazing! We contacted Tree Huggers for his help diagnosing issues we're having with our Arborvitae. He set up a time right away for a few days later and was communicative, professional and punctual. At the consultation, he was super thorough about looking at what the cause might be, and took the time to do additional research and followed up with an assessment and recommendation on next steps. It's clear that he genuinely cares about trees and his clients. I recommend Joel wholeheartedly. He will be our go-to guy for anything tree-related!

Awesome! Very professional and efficient. The crew cleaned up as they went... GREAT job! Highly recommend them! (Note - we kept the trunk pieces and the rounds... the stump will be ground down later.)

Joel and his guys were very easy to work with. They pruned 2 fruit trees and a lilac that had not been professionally done an a long time and they needed it! They were a little later than predicted due to traffic, understandable coming from Kent to Shoreline! They got right to work and did the work as expected, finished on time, and cleaned everything up. They were careful of the other plants and shrubs in my yard. I did not have other estimates, so I'm not sure how their prices compare to others.

Joel and his team were punctual and professional. They worked skillfully to prune a dead tree. Joel was willing to test the tree for stability for climbing and offered alternatives if it was not. Happy with the service overall.

The work done was excellent and exactly as requested. I had 2 large Plum-Cherry trees and 1 Japanese Maple. The work done on my Japanese Maple was better than I hoped for. The price I as charged was great, lower than others so I was worried that quality would be lesser, but that was not the case. Also should note that the cleanup afterwards was also top notch. Very happy with Tree Huggers.

Joel and his team are by far the most professional in the business. They were fast and efficient, and they worked hard to meet all of our needs while still maintaining the safety of our home. They were reasonably priced, their work was immaculate, and they finished the job with the utmost care. Joel and his team at Tree Huggers did a great job. We called several companies for bids and they were the first to respond and their bid was by far the best. It was a pretty difficult job (maybe more complex than they thought) but the price was the same as the bid even though it took a little longer than expected. The team was friendly and professional. Joel was a pleasure to work with. The trees are gone and we have happy neighbors making our lives much better.

Joel and his staff were courteous and efficient. They were on time, did the work, cleaned up and left. We received an invoice online the same day. Joel communicated with us beforehand both by text and phone. The guy who did the stump grinding came right after they finished. I found tree huggers through a referral on Facebook, and of all the companies I reached out to, Joel was the first to respond, the first to come out for a bid and the most responsive over all. He was so easy to work with, and he was very patient as we navigated getting permission to cut the trees while also trying to get a permit for construction on our house. He communicated with our contractor, and simplified everything for us. While removing the trees, he and his crew were extremely hard working and diligent. There was no wasted time in their day. My son watched them for hours, and they were a polite group of men. I would highly recommend Tree Huggers!!

The 3 man crew was professional and efficient. Our approximately 60+ ft. maple was brought down carefully in sections so as not to disturb the fragile hillside or driveway. They chipped the branches, cut the logs into sections for our wood pile and carried all the sections around to the side of the garage, cleaned the drive and surrounding ground of excess debris. This was a hard working crew. The owner, Joel did the cutting. We are definitely going to hire him for more tree work. With his background, he can advise us as to the best ways to care for the trees, and he can do the work shaping, trimming and cutting. The price was competitive and he was quick to respond to our call.
