SIGNATURE INTERIORS & DESIGN

Had to use company because we were having home built and this is the company builders were using. We live over an hour away so it was a pain to get there. They are only open Monday - Friday so luckily they were open on Veteran's Day so my husband could go without having to take a day off. The people were very friendly but we later found out that they didn't touch on a lot of the options we could have gone with; such as glass tile, back splash for stove, accent tiles. Going to the model home and seeing other finished homes from the builder we were constantly seeing things we would have gone with had we known we had those choices. Also with so many neat software out there and this company focusing on home interiors, it would have been helpful if they had something where we would have gotten to see what the home would look like with our choices. For example we got to choose our exterior home colors and then the following month saw a home and knew we wanted to change the exterior home color. Perhaps if we could have seen what the house would look like with our options, we wouldn't have had to change it. The pricing we thought was high. Having done floors in the past, it was almost half the price that we paid at Signature and we had gotten better quality and more product and the people had laid the floor in the past had to move furniture. The price could also be because the builder wants a cut, but either way we felt it was high. They also ran out of carpet and so there was a few days gap where the coat closet didn't have carpet, but since we weren't living in the house yet that really wasn't a big issue.

In general it has been great working with Signature. We got to work with Tammy during the design consultation and she was very patient and did several things that I believe went above of what she had to do, like mailing us carpet samples so we could take the right decision. There was a small issue with floors that I am not sure whether it was Signature or the builder's fault, but at least Signature eventually stepped up and helped us pick another choice for the floors that we ended up linking very much. Recently they sent one of their QA people to re apply caulking around some areas, I hate that I am bad with names because he did an excellent job and was extremely professional.
