Our furnice stopped running and I had 2 companies coming for troubleshooting and repair. The quote it was very high- between $1400 to $ 1800- so I tried Patriot Heating too. Rick actually was able to make a simple repair that saved us a tone of money. We are using Patriot Heating for every maintenance and troubleshooting and we were never disappointed. Angela is very professional and nice, we are getting our appointments scheduled fast, they are reliable and I completely trust their diagnosis, prices and quality of work.

While they did replace the fuse that had gone out, they also told me that I needed a new gas valve (which I didn't), and then charged me $427 for a $57 part. When I called a different repair company, they said the fuse had actually fixed the problem in the first place. I was without heat in the house for nearly two weeks trying to sort it out.

Contacted service provider three times; never got a call or response back from three Angies' list messages. Guess they don't need business right now.

It only took minutes for Rick and his partner to pull the fan and discover several blades were broken and throwing it out of balance. Rather then try to up-sell me on a new furnace, he informed me of my options letting me know even thought the furnace was older, he could order a new fan and have it installed within a couple days. I opted to replace the fan and the replacement went as scheduled and took minimal time. Excellent service for a reasonable cost, highly recommend!

Angela was awesome on the phone, and Adam was at my house within 2 hours. He could easily have sold me on an upgraded system but was honest and explained the difference. I had him do a quick re-wire and got quite a bit of professional advice, and was not sold something I didn't need. I will use Patriot Heating & A/C for all my heating & A/C needs from now on, and heartily recommend them to all.

Rick was impressive with how quickly he was able to troubleshoot and resolve an issue with my York electric furnace that was installed 5 years ago. He had the issue figured out after 20 minutes of looking at the furnace. After ordering the required parts, he had the issue resolved in a second visit in about another 40 minutes. Pretty impressive regarding his knowledge of the York electric furnace. In comparison, I had another tech out from another company into my house. That tech was unable to resolve the issue after looking at the furnace for 1.5 hours. That tech just charged me money for his time, left me with unhelpful suggestions, and a cold house. I marked him down for responsiveness since he called me back at 9 pm after I called him at 10 am. He also said he would contact me in about an hour after the initial troubleshooting visit at my house to schedule a second visit. He really took 2 days. I also marked him down for price since he installed about $80 in parts. His 2 short visits resulted in an hourly rate of well over $200 per hour. I suppose it is better to pay somebody $200 an hour that can figure out the problem rather than pay somebody that cannot fix the problem. I cannot speak to his rate for big jobs, since my job was so small. Overall, if I run into a problem I cannot figure out, I will probably give him a call again. He certainly knows my furnace well enough and has the skill to fix it.

Thought it would take longer to schedule, but Rick was able to come that same day, arriving before it got too hot out. Reviewed all for which we were using our A/C and advised how to improve our usage and save money on the cost of operation. Replaced filter and did a little training on how to replace it ourselves and how often.

Our furnace stopped working during the night as we awoke to a cold home. Researched local heating companies and gave Bruce a call. I explained to him that my wife is recovering from brain surgery and I needed to get her some heat in the house. He went over some quick fix procedures with me over the phone but they failed to get the heat going. He was on a job as we spoke but gave his word he would come by in a few hours. I was at work when he called me from the house to say he got the furnace to working again but that it was a temporary fix. We agreed to meet as soon as I got home from work. He arrived right on time and went over the failure mode and options for a new system. We set the date to install the new system a few days later. He arrived on time and had a new system installed in a very short time and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. He came back a few days later to check on the system and get the paperwork signed. We appreciate Bruce's quick response to our heating issue and his professionalism. Will recommend him to anyone in need of heating/air conditioning services.

The job went well. They were on time and did a good job. They were a little expensive.

Great!!!! We had a scheduled appointment with a different company and after they called late and said they couldn't make it we called around and luckily found Rick. We called Rick at 2pm and said we have no A/C and could not live without it in the heat wave we were experiencing. We had to sleep Tuesday night without A/C and it was over 90 degrees in our house. Rick said he would come out that Wednesday evening, but couldn't say what time, probably by 8pm. He showed up and was extremely happy and pleasant for being such an obviously long day for him and his helper. They diagnosed our problem and had our A/C working within about 30 min. They hung out and talked to us for a little while and made sure everything was working properly before they left. When they were leaving they said the had another job to get to that night. All I can say is, WOW, what a GREAT experience and dedication to getting the job done!!! Extremely impressed from phone call to completion of the service.
