deck cleaning
+ -1 moreThe deck project turned out very well. With the deck portion (of a house painting project), specific times were needed to allow the removal materials to dry before the applications of the brightener and stain. During this period, it was sometimes difficult to obtain information about the next work date during those steps. Since we wanted to be present, this was a minor problem for us.
Description of Work: 1. Our 660 square foot exterior wood deck was stripped of its old opaque stain using a stripping agent and a brightener. The next step was a light sanding to take off any raised wood grain, followed by the application of a semi-transparent stain. 2. We had the opportunity to select from an array of stain colors; the favorite of which was applied to confirm our choice on the actual deck. 3. The crew carefully masked the aluminum deck railing to protect it from the stain removal agent.

pressure washing, house painters
+ 0 moreThe price was very competitive, the workers were pleasant and responsive to our questions and requests, and the end result was great.
Description of Work: The exterior of the house was pressure washed promptly following the agreement to proceed with the project. All windows and other "no paint" surfaces were well masked off the following work day. The entire house was painted by spray or brush and all masking removed and disposed of. Finishing touch up work was quickly completed, leaving a very professional total job.
