Jamie's Septic Service

Arrived on time, preformed the service in a timely manner and provided the homeowner with substantial information regarding the maintenance and on going care for the septic tank. We would definitely use this company in the future.

He showed up when expected and looked at the situation and gave us his opinion of what needed to be done and about how much it should cost. He also told us our problem was not his area of expertise so we should talk to someone else. I really appreciated that!

I called Jamie at 7:45 am on Friday, 12/28/12 and by 8:05 he had called back. Quoted me a price and by 10:30 was on the job, just as he had said he would be. Drained (pumped) my tank and by noon was done and 100% cleaned up. Jamie's bill was exact, his work was professional and he was here on time!!! 5 stars in my book. Jamie is GREAT, would I recommend him, ABSOLUTELY. The experience overall was excellent. Jamie arrived about three minutes early. He first did initial inspection and explained what was going on with our septic system. He noticed the panel that we were using to control the septic system, which can be problematic. The floats typically used by the intial installers of these panels consistently go bad after a number of years. Based on this he did an inspection of the pump tanks and checked to make sure the panel was working. I was there the entire time and we noticed that there was some cracks in the floats that was causing the panel to not work properly. Jamie did not charge for the extra time he spent troubleshooting. He did recommend a couple of reputable companies to do the repair. After this he he went to work pumping the tanks and cleaning a cloged filter. Due to the fact that the tank was extra full, it did cost a bit more than originally anticipated, but I knew this going in as Jamie did a good job at explaining the services and the charges for the services. After pumping the tanks, Jamie did a good job in cleaning up and was on his way. I would definately use Jamie's Septic Service again and recommend to others.

Jamie was here on time, and walked me through the cleaning process. It turns out the tank hadn't been cleaned, ever...so, he did a lot of extra work! After he finished the cleaning, he provided me with additional information...like the location of tank, how to save money next time, when I should schedule my next cleaning and to avoid throwing croquet balls down the vent :) ! He cleaned up the area and you could hardly tell the area had been dug up. Great service! A+ !!

Jamie showed up on time. He quickly found the problem and proceeded to fix said problem. He did not try to talk us into any services that need not be done. He was personable, worked quickly, and told us to call him if there any more problems.

We called him on a holiday and he was out the very next day. We were very happy with his work, customer service and the repairs that were performed.

It went very well. I realize why Mr. Long is so well rated on Angie's list. Some septic companies try to upcharge you by suggesting services you really don't need. Mr. Long just does the work you need, cheerfully and well. I also checked to make sure he is fully licensed for the tasks he performs. I recommend him highly.

Excellent. Jamie came out on-time in pouring rain and listened to my story. We reviewed the as-built, walked the drainage field, and then he checked the flow from tank to field. He explained the design of my 50 year old concrete tank, how the field worked, and ultimately decided that my tank and field appeared to be working fine. The black water color and scum level of my tank looked good, and there was no need to pump. Jamie charged me his mileage to drive there with his truck and that was it.

Recently I noticed a my septic drain field area was soggy and realized I needed to have a professional come out to look at the situation. The first couple of companies I called refused to come out to my house. However, with Jamie I hit the jackpot. Jamie showed up as promised, analyzed the problem (the drain field pipes were partially clogged) and provided a solution. Fixing a drain field is far beyond my capabilities, so what a relief! He even came back the next day and installed risers on my tank. Jamie?s professionalism and skills have made me his customer for as long as I need septic services. You can call Jamie with complete confidence he will show up on time and complete the job professionally.

Timely and responsive Very knowledgeable and easily explained to us how the septic system works and the Dos and Don't of maintenance between cleanings.. Took the extra time to dig around a root and show us what damage it was causing. Explained a discussed a biotic situation in our tank, what could cause it, and methods we can follow to correct it. Jamie was very professional and informative. He was able to locate the access points after some digging and he replaced the dirt and grass back to it's original state so that I could not tell where the work had been done. He was positive and easy to talk to. We will be calling him again for service.

I have been using Jamie's Septic System since 2006. I cannot say enough good things about them. Jamie is always on time and does a great job. He also advises on ways to treat your system, i.e. if there is someone in the house on a cancer drug/chemotherapy, you need to have your system pumped more often. I had never heard about this from any other septic service. Jamie is also very honest, which is difficult to find in a company nowadays. His avg. price is $299+ depending upon the condition of the system. I would highly recommend this company.

The service was perfect. He was prompt. He was very professional. The cost was reasonable. The pump itself costed $400. It’s a deep sump and his normal service is at least $500. He finished covering and returned the area to good condition like how it was. I would use his services again in the future.

Jamie was great, showed up and pump the tank, explained to me how everything in my septic system worked. I asked him is I should add risers and based on how deep my lids were Jamie recommend that I add them so I had him come back out the next week and complete the work. Overall I was very happy with the service I received and will be calling him again in 3-4 years.

Jamie was very friendly, explained how our septic system works, pumped it out, pointed out debris he couldn't remove (large pieces of concrete left in the tank for some reason), and even threw in a free concrete cover I asked for and that he happened to have laying around.

They did the job really well. They came back and put the extender in the new tank. They don’t have to dig down anymore for it. They were friendly. I don’t remember the pricing but I think it was comparable to what the other ones I was looking at. The pricing was reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

Jamie was very easy to talk to and extremely informative. He took the time to show me my system and explain how it work. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher of septic systems. I now know what to look for and the maintenance needed to keep my system going for many years. He is the person I will turn to when I need anything done involving my septic system.

Jamie was great. He is easy to reach on the phone, calls back quickly and he is easy to talk to. He wasn't able to make our original appointment, but he called and rescheduled for the next day and took care of things. In addition to marking the lids for me, he provided me some additional information - including letting me know that water was slowly running into the tank from somewhere (most likely a toilet), that I had a filter system (who knew?), and how to take care of it. He also gave me some advice about how to avoid the drainage field. Overall it was a great experience. It almost made me wish I needed my septic done more frequently (okay, maybe that is a bit to far). You get the idea. Jamie was very professional.

He was just extremely helpful. He's prompt, he gives you probably more information than you would have thought to ask for. He's very detail oriented. He's not out to just take your money, he's a good value for the money.

They fit us in quickly. The gentleman was pleasant and informative. He didn?t try to sell other stuff. Their price was reasonable too.

As reported by other Angie's users, Jamie was absolutely great. Not only does he excell at what he does, he is also a great person to talk to since he is eager to offer sensible advice. He actually convinced me not to do a series of modifications that I had in mind for him to do (what a different septic guy had recommended), because he thought we did not need them. Yes, he is THAT honest! To top that off, he suggested a simple alternative that instead of consting me hundreds of dollars, costed only $70. And, it was something that I could do by myself (i.e, he did not make a profit out of it). Sincerely, if every business or person I have to deal with when doing things for our home were as honest, professional and good as Jamie is, life would be much easier. I honestly sleep better at night knowing that if there is any problem with our septic tank (the first we've ever had, so we are still learning), I can call Jamie and trust 100% of what he tells me. I cannot recommend him enough. Just give him a call, you'll notice the difference immediately!
