Jamie's Septic Service

Jamie provided great service and is very knowledgeable about his work. Given the age of my house, he was able to advise me, over the phone, precisely where to dig to find the second cover for my tank, even after I thought I'd dug it all up. When I asked over the phone about buying risers and installing them myself he actually recommended a competitor who he thought might be cheaper to buy the parts from (due to their higher purchase volume). Took his advice but his parts were cheaper. And after weighing the costs, I opted to have Jamie install them anyway. He was running a little behind getting there but called and let me know his earlier job took longer than expected and gave me an updated time, which was fine with me as I was running late myself. But having the tank lids already exposed and easy tank access, he pumped my tank and was already at work installing the risers before I even made it home. The risers were cemented in place (though as I understand it is not required by code due to the age of my system). The riser installation looks great - two green plastic lids in the yard vs. a large dirt patch that needs to be reseeded - and will be very helpful next time the tank needs pumped. Jamie also took the time to answer any and all of my questions (over the phone and in person) about extending the life of my septic system - from baffles to filters to oxygen dissolving systems. I'm a very pleased customer and will call him again next time my tank needs pumping or for any other service on my septic system.

Jamie was prompt, friendly and professional. He returned my call in a timely manner and arrived on time. Fortunately I called when I did as the tanks were about full and the filter almost clogged. He took the extra time to get it all taken care of. He answered several questions I had about the system. He told me what to monitor on the drain field as there was one area that was quite damp. If I found an anomaly he said give him a call and we would discuss it. The price was very reasonable and I definitely will have him do my future septic work.

He did an excellent job. He showed up when he were supposed to show up, actually a bit early even. He charged what they said he would charged. He explained what he was going to do and did it promptly. It was a reasonable price, and he has been doing this a long time. I have referred him to others. He left no mess and left the ground looking nicely. If there were A+ grades I would give him straight A pluses.

Jamie's Septic Service my experience was very good. They didn't have to come out, they were able to answer my question over the phone and gave me really great customer service and great information to help me understand what I was describing was happening with my septic tank. I would recommend them any day. They gave me peace of mind, an explanation and they saved me some money just by not requiring that they came out. They simply educated me on what was going on and told me it didn't need for them to come out. So I think that was as valuable as any work they would have done. They had fantastic customer service. He actually called me back after hours, which was I believe was a little above and beyond. I think it was amazing customer service. And I felt good about, he could have said let me come and I'll charge you this much, let me come out and see for my self what is going on, but instead he said something like I don't think this requires a visit and talk me through what is going and we'll see what it is. And we were able to.

Their service was reasonably priced. The guy who came was polite, on time, and professional. He did what he was supposed to do.

Jamie exceeded all expectations. Gave advice on detailed questions I had. I believe he is VERY professional in his dedication to all aspects of his business from scheduling to showing up to providing extra service, and finally, the finish and clean up. He takes pride in his business and his efficient processes

We set up an appointment over the phone. Jamie called the day of the appointment and was able to stop by earlier than scheduled. While he was working, it began to rain heavily. He noticed that the storm drain in our driveway wasn't draining properly. Not only did he pump our septic tank but in less than 5 minutes he graciously unclogged our storm drain.

I had an emergency situation with drains running slowly and on the verge of backing up. I needed help immediately and called Jamie. We had had him pump our tank before and he did a good job then. Jamie was working on another project and referred us to his dad, Gary Long, who also has a septic service company. Gary was able to come right away. He showed up on time, was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. Diagnosed our problem as a stuck intake baffle and fixed it.

If anyone could make septic maintenance interesting, it would be Jamie. He's been our family "septic guy" for a few years, and he has been prompt, helpful, and courteous. Our system is pretty old and when he did our maintenance in 2009 (or so) he spent an extra hour giving me an advanced course in septic system care and use (hint: don't put anything down the septic system that isn't "natural" and do not run the dishwasher, laundry, and shower at the same time).

He returned my call promptly. He showed up when he said he would. He cleaned out our septic tanks. It went smoothly. He told us to keep to the schedule we have been on. There were no surprises. I also scheduled two neighbors with him for the same day and we all received a 10% group discount. I plan to use him again next time. I feel more comfortable with him than with the previous septic service (larger company) we had been using in the past.

Jamie showed up on time, explained how my system worked. He also helped me uncover my cut-outs and explained to me that one of them might need to be replaced the next time.

Jamie showed up right on time. He was very professional and didn't waste anytime. I asked that he not park on the concrete driveway and he was very cooperative. He went above and beyond his duties. He answered all my questions and gave me some tips and advice.

It was good that they came out on a weekend. It was urgent and they came right out and they worked together with another service to complete the service. It was good that they came out on a short notice and did a good job. They didn’t leave any mess or anything, so it was nice. Their responsiveness was very good.

Hired Jaime to pump/inspect septic tank. He was on time, professional, and did a thorough job. After I dug to what seemed like China to expose the tank covers, I asked him about risers. He had a bunch of ideas that varied in quality and price, which was helpful. I hired him to come back install risers on the tank lids. Very positive experience. A+.

He was prompt, informative about the work that needed to be done. He completed the job very satisfactorily at the quoted price.

Jamie called me back promptly after my initial call, told me when he'd arrive, and arrived at exactly that time. He explained our septic tank system to us, diagnosed a potential problem and pumped the tank. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and managed to keep our black lab from following him home, although she wanted to.

From our first conversation, Jamie made me feel at ease and confident that he was defintiely the right man for the job. We were in the process of selling our house and he informed me that I needed to get an inspection, as well as pumping, in order to close. I was unaware...he was kind enough to hook me up with an inspector who could come out and inspect at the same time as the pumping. This saved me any digging charges to find the lids of the septic tank. So, that was pretty cool. Jamie was quite punctual and incredibly friendly. You ever notice how service providers tend to have bad attitudes these days? Not Jamie. This guy has a smile for everyone. It's infectuous. Now, don't get the impression Jamie was not serious about his job. He was. Got it done quickly and very competently. This is how doing business with vendors should be. If you need someone to do the less than desirable job of pumping your septic tank, this is who you want.

Our tank had not been emptied in 15 years, Jamie just smiles and said ?It best not to go that long? and explained what could happen. We were lucky and had no major problems. Jamie is a very easy person to talk to and a great listener. Very competitive pricing, honest and trust worthy. Defiantly would recommend Jamie.

Jamie's schedule was full so he was able to help me determine who had serviced my septic tank previously and provided me with some better understanding of how pumps work and septic tank maintenance practices. We talked for quite a while and I never felt like he was rushing me to end our call, very helpful guy.

We hired Jamie because of all the good reviews the company had on Angie's list. The price he quoted was what he charged us and we will hire him again.
