+ 0 moreIt was kinda funky. He didn't want to open up the walls because he said it would cost too much. So, he made pull down chords and fixed the lights in the bathrooms. He did have to consult some other electricians because it was so messed up. He did a great job and he was really nice.
Description of Work: My house has 50 year old, low voltage wiring. The lights did not work in some rooms and in other they would not turn off.

Description of Work: Last week there was a loud pop and all the lights went out in the kitchen & dining room. The microwave, oven, and refridgerator all quit. Then I checked the laundry and the washer, dryer and all the lights were out in the garage, too. I called Holmes Electric as I'd used them some years ago and they were less than a mile away. On the phone, he told me to look at the electrical panel and one switch was off. I turned it back to on ( with his assurance it would be safe to do so), and all the lights came back on. He said to check each appliance while he was on the phone, to be sure they were working; they were and still are working fine. No charge.The serviceman I talked to is Kyle Yerxa.
