While it is true it is difficult to reach the company. When I did get through he got here right away. Very nice, knew exactly what was wrong. It was under warranty so we did not have to pay.

I had to take 2 separate days off work for this worthless company to not show up! They decided to not answer their phone either. This is literally what is wrong with America entitled and lazy. Who just doesn’t show up for a job… not once but 2x!!! Ridiculous. Get a life…. Do yourself a favor and don’t hire these People. You’ll be out money.

Peter came out to inspect refrigerator. Could not repair and said would check with manufacturer for fix. Called back in two days to say he found fix and ordered parts. Said he would call when parts received. Never called back. I left four messages over two weeks that were never returned. Had to go back to manufacturer to find another repair tech.

We called Kitchen Aid as the part for your refrigerator were under warranty--not service. They referred us to High Tech Appliance Service. The technician came out (we already knew it needed a new compressor) and charged us $105.00 for 10 minutes to confirm that we needed a new compressor. They ordered the parts. We got a call telling us the technician would be at our home at 9:00 am the next day and that the job would take between 2 and 3 hours. The technician showed up at 11:30 am! After he brought in all his tools and tore our refrigerator apart, he then told us he did not have any Freon (he had two tanks and they were both empty?). He then left and returned at a little after 12:30pm. He then proceeded to fix the refrigerator. When he was done, there was black soot in the frig. He didn't even clean it out and was putting the shelves back in when I caught him. I had to wipe the entire frig out! The whole job took him 1 1/2 hours and cost $714.00. This company is unprofessional and I would NEVER use them again. Another irritant--I had just mopped my floors and asked the technician to remove his shoes, he produced "booties" that were so dirty, I believe his shoes were cleaner. Needless to say, I had to mop all my floors all over again--black soot and dirt from his "booties" as well as clean my countertops off from the black soot.....

This service provider was scheduled to come TWICE, by Whirlpool and did not show up on either date. I ended up taking two days off work on the scheduled days they were supposed to be there. They claimed to have called me but my phone never rang -- nor did it log any calls from this company on either of the scheduled dates. I have logged a formal complaint with Whirlpool, and have scheduled a THIRD appointment for my needed repairs -- this time with a different service provider who has already called me to confirm the date, as they should! Hi Tech Appliance Service does not know the meaning of good customer service and I will never use them nor will I recommend they be used by anyone else.

He came out for five mins and looked at it and said it was the control panel. He said he would order the part for us, said it would be about $380. We paid $100 for the estimate. I felt like it was over priced. Its been a month since he came out to look at the appliance and he is not returning my calls. Finally he did answer today and said he would come out, this was after calling him 8 different times. He is not very responsive.

Description of Work: It was recommended by Electrolux that I use this company for extended warranty work. After calling leaving messages for four days in a row with no response from anyone, I called another service company (with the approval of Electrolux) and figured that was it. However, HiTech came unannounced to our home while I was away and my husband was home. My husband was aware that someone was coming to service the refrigerator but did not know who or when they were coming. He did let the serviceman into the house unfortunately, but the serviceman was unknowledgeable and unprepared to perform the service. I called the owner to complain about the unexpected and unauthorized call, but he rudely replied, "No problem, don't worry about it" and hung up. I would not recommend using this company.

We reached out to this company after LG referred us to them. The technician came out to assess our range since the glass top had broken. He said he needed $200 deposit to order the part which we paid with a credit card. He promised to be back in 3 days. A week later I called he said he would come by. No one turned up. After several days I called and no one was answering the phones. Left a message. After several tries I used a friends phone and it was picked. They promised to come by that week. No one came. After calling again I received a call from the tech saying he had a used part and he would sell it to me at $100 discount. He came to show it to us and we refused it since it was not the part for our stove . I was the wrong part. The tech was not happy , he went and never answered our calls again. We left messages asking for a refund or to perform service promised. No one answered. We filed a complain with the attorney general office and contacted another service provider. The other provider was great , took us through all options. He also advised us to contact our credit card company and request refund which we did. We got our money back from the credit card company.

Communication was horrible! We were frustrated that these guys weren't able to fix our refrigerator, but the greatest frustration was their lack of communication and professionalism. They arrived late when they had appointments with us. I left them a message confirming that we wanted them to order the part and do the service for us then never heard from them. I called a week later and they told me they had ordered the part and were just waiting for it to come in. I wish they had let me know what was going on. Also, several times we tried to call only to find that their voicemail was full and we couldn't leave a message. But once they started working with us, they never called us. We always had to call them and we never got through. I was leaving increasingly frustrated messages that our fridge was still not working and we were hoping they could try to finish the work they had started and I never heard from them. To their credit they didn't charge us anything after that initial diagnostic fee and the purchase of the expensive part, but basically they just wiped their hands of us (without letting us know) and left us a few hundred dollars poorer, with an unoperational fridge, and month and a half of unreliable refrigeration. I would warn people against using their services.
Description of Work: HTA checked out our Samsung refrigerator/freezer and detected a problem with the control board. Over $300 and a couple of weeks later the problem was still not fixed. They made another trip and used a part they had in stock to repair the heater unit on the fridge thinking that would fix things and the refrigerator still did not work. We ended up having to replace the refrigerator after all.

I initially reserved warranty service via Frigidaire's service number. They said he'd arrive on the Monday and would call me the prior business day (Friday). He didn't call so I called on Monday and He said he just got the info and would come out Tuesday and would call later Monday to narrow down the time. Monday passed, he didn't call Tuesday passed, he didn't call and I left messages. Now, I've called dozens of times and he never answers or responds to messages. My guess is he's had a personal calamity but either way, I wouldn't bother trying to get any service work done.

I was delighted to discover that they provide service for LG appliances. (Many appliance repair shops only work on American made products). I called them at the end of the day Thursday when I discovered water leaking out from under my washing machine. They offered to fit me in the very next day for a service call. (I had already called Sears and they couldn't fit me in until 5 days later). Their tech was on time, personable, professional, and informative. Although a repair wasn't necessary, I appreciated finding that out sooner, rather than later. I would definitely call them again!

Our freezer was really hot and making a weird sound. It also smelt like burning rubber. He came out and he was really honest, I really appreciated him. He pulled out refrigerator and saw that it wasn't getting adequate circulation. He cleaned it up. He's very nice and helpful.

Description of Work: My Frigidaire dryer started sending me messages & beeping - when I wasn't trying to use it. Contacted High Tech - Mike came out and identified the problem quickly -control panel needed to be replaced. He ordered the part and returned last Friday with the part, replaced the bad one and I'm happy to say I can now dry clothes & do laundry again. I was blown away by the technician, Mike Yashchuk. He did an excellent job and went totally above and beyond what he needed to do. Mike even vacuumed my laundry room where the dryer was! I can't believe that it didnt cost me more for everything that he did. If I had hired Sears to take care of the dryer for me, it would have been $150 for them to just show up!! Mike showed up right on time and was very courteous.
