It was not what I expected. He did his job, but we thought he was going to seal up where the granite came together. Other than that, he did a good job. There were no problems with their customer service or with scheduling.

Template for kitchen counters was made one week after purchase of deal and I had new Granite counters the following week. The team for template measure, install and selection of Granite was very professional, helpful and even early for both appointments!! I would highly recommend this group to anyone needing new counters and I will definitely use them when we redo our bathrooms.

The end result was good. I had Octavio out who removed the old remnants of the sealer on the granite and applied new sealer. It wasn't entirely clear that what I had was sealer on the granite but Octavio removed it with good results. On the downside coordinating with the provider was difficult. I contacted them via angies mail, email (twice) and called them 3 times. The third time I got someone and was called back to schedule the work. Getting a hold of someone took about 3 weeks. I felt like the Angies deal I bought was something they did as a company but didn't have much interest in the fulfillment of. The appointment I had was at 4PM. The provider arrived at 6:30PM. So not super punctual. I am surmising that larger jobs get priority etc. and since this job was small it ran into issues.

They were friendly and nice however, I think they are very busy and it will take more time than we thought. Therefore, we have decided to go with someone else.

They can to my house and removed my old counter top and installed a new one on the same day. It took them 12 hours to finish the job. The only issue I had was the seams. The seams were a rough to the touch. The installer said that can be fixed by buffing it out. As it was late, he asked me to call the shop the following day to schedule someone to come out and rebuff the seams. I did call the next day and they said that they would get back to me. I had to call them 4 times during the week and the next to finally get them to schedule someone to come and rebuff the seams three weeks after the install. Other than that, they were fast and did a fine job of installing my new counter top.

The person who came out to measure was great. He gave me some ideas which I incorporated. It took about 2 1/2 weeks for the counters to be done (not the 3 they thought) and a morning to put them in. Looks great. Regrets: we didn't upgrade the sink and no company seals the backsplash to the wall.

In the end, we did not end up going with Granite & Marble since we found a fabricator who we thought better understood our wants and needs without all the back and forth on our estimate.

I met Kurt (Owner) durning my initial visit and found him to be very approachable and genuine. He took alot of time with me answering all my questions. I left with my mind comfortably made up and no second guessing my decisions. My project was scheduled, a couple days later measuring. then templates were done and we moved right into production. I had originally thought this process would take weeks but they have all aspects of this process on site and things move very efficiently. The granite was delivered and installed a few days after that. To top it off; a very nice Thank You card and gift from Kurt which was a perfect ending to the project completion and a warm welcome to my new beautiful kitchen. ~Very thoughtful. My experience with Granite & Marble Specialties couldn't have gone better (from the Owner to Installers).. This is a small business, locally owned that seems to be doing all the right things.. My experience was respectful and honest and the quality and workmanship was top notch. I would use them again and will refer my friends and family to them without reservation ! If your experience is anything like mine was; you will be very pleased with your choice to go with these folks. And my granite is BEAUTIFUL !!!!

This Angie's List company was really great, they hit all the points of fantastic service, price and delivery. Connie was on top of this very small order and treated me like a million bucks. I had a chance to visit there showroom and they offer a large selection granite, quartz and other materials, this company is also starting to offer semi custom cabinets as-well as custom counter tops. If I was remodeling my kitchen this is the company I would choose.

They picked up our granite that we found at a wholesale warehouse and held it for us for 2 months while we waited for our cabinets to be finished (damage problems). Measured 2 days after the cabinets were finished, then installed granite 6 days later. Called a couple days later after we found a flaw in a seam and an uneven wall. Came out 3 days later and corrected everything. Steve Thoreson and Kurt were the people up front that we dealt with, Emerson was the person who came up and measured, and Alfonzo installed and repaired. All were easy to deal with and we are very happy. Steve Thoreson is an incredible singer and treated us to a song at their location, look him up on you tube.

After making the granite selection and agreeing upon the price, Thomas was sent out within a day or two to measure and make a template for the counter top. He arrived at the set time, was very professional and answered all my questions. He then did the fabrication in the shop according to his template and applied a sealer that I requested. The following Monday Thomas and two other crew members arrived at the appointed time, removed the old counters, installed the new with a few extra grindings needed here and there for perfect fit, and were done within about 4 hours. We discovered one detail that needed attention (dishwasher needed some sort of attachment to under side of granite), so Thomas came the next day to fix that situation. I am very pleased with the result. The counter top is beautiful, and the workmanship is excellent.
