Very good service, from local phone reps to the installer. One slightly confusing appointment confirmation message was left by a call center rep based in Ohio, but no problems resulted.

Had an attempted break-in - unsuccessful but not without considerable damage to the door window during the effort. I called Glass Doctor at 9:00a and asked to have someone come and replace it that day - and be done before 1:30p when I had to leave for an appt. These people made it happen like it was falling off a log. I wish I knew who all I talked to and the tech's name who did the work - everyone was helpful, sympathetic about my plight, patient and made me feel like my little job was the most important thing they had to do that day. I give price an NA because I never asked. I could have shopped it, but I just wanted that window replaced NOW after a sleepless night. I noticed that there's a coupon on their website that I would have like to be offered, but their service was so great that I don't begrudge them that - maybe next time though :-) I have other projects that I hope I can use them for. Way to go, Glass Doctor!

Serviceman (name unknown), arrived punctually, stayed about 30-40 minutes, exhibited a cheerful positive attitude, and was very polite.

I had a couple companies out to review the fixture and provide a quote. Neither was very far apart, but Glass Dr was less and I opted to go with them. There was a lead time of about 2 weeks from ordering before installation, and I was required to pay 1/2 prior to order, which I didn't appreciate. The service, from quote to install, was very considerate and professional. However, I understand there are commissions at stake and that can make you feel like your little job may have relative priority. My glass was replaced, and as far as I know or can tell, it was done well. They were on time and made sure they showed me the work that was done and confirmed all was as expected. I can't ask for much more than that.

The company was very responsive when I called for an estimate. Within 24 hours I had a technician at my home providing a written estimate for the work. They followed up to see if I had any questions and/or interested in scheduling the actual service. $900.00 was a bit higher than i wanted to spend but after getting other estimates, I realized it was a very fair price. I scheduled the work and was very pleased with the quality of the work and the time it took to complete the project. I would recommend this company to my friends and will call them again.

I called another Angie's List company to do this job and they referred me to the Glass Doctor because my one-window repair job was too small. I called the Glass Doctor and they sent out an estimator. They ordered the parts and called me when the parts were in to schedule the job. They gave me a window of 10 am to 2 pm. I called them at 10 am to let them know that I was stuck in a work meeting until 1 pm. They said no problem and had the service guy notified to not come until after 1:30 pm. He called me at 1:30 to let me know he was 30 minutes away. He arrived at 2 pm and was an absolute sweetheart to my troublesome rat terrier -- turns out he used to work with small dogs. He did the repair thoroughly and quickly, was extremely nice, and the final bill was exactly the same as the estimate -- $80 for the balance parts and repair labor, $20 for environmental surcharges, plus tax. Just a great customer service experience from start to finish -- such a rarity these days I want spread the good news!

We had a vinyl window on our house that would not open or close correctly. Another compnay had done a temporary (2 days) fix and advised us that the window would need to be replaced should the problem happen again. We called Glass Doctor for an estimate. The phone scheduler was very helpful. Robert came out the next morning as promised. He was professional and friendly. He diagnosed the problem immediately, and did a very fast repair while explaining the actual problem. We were charged a fair price, and the window is as good as new!

Called Glass Dcotor at 8:30 AM and the installer was at the house at 4 PM. The installer, Scott, was very professional. He measured the window and actually had the glass on the truck. It took him about 30 minutes to do the job. After he finished the insallation, he cleaned up the area and left it cleaner then when he arrived!

Very disappointing experience with my first service referral obtained through Angie's List! A relatively simple job that should have been completed in 4 business days took nearly 2 weeks. A representative showed up two weeks ago to take measurements and provide an estimate. Everything seemed to be going well until he informed me the 10% senior discount another representative quoted me on the initial phone estimate could not be applied. When I initially asked for this additional discount during the phone estimate, I had not noticed their discount conditions that were stated on their listing with Angie's List. Regardless of my error though, their employees should be aware of this conditional criteria and be instructed not to quote estimates that cannot be honored. The replacement glass window units arrived 3 business days later as planned. The work was scheduled to be performed the next day. The installer arrived and after checking measurements, informed me the measurements were taken incorrectly and the units would need to be reordered. Additionally, the thickness of the stationary unit had not been delivered properly by the manufacture as ordered. The installer informed me that these mistakes would now add an additional 3 business days to the job. I contacted the business 4 business days later to inquire about the status of this service. I was informed the replacement units were expected to arrive that morning. An installer was then scheduled to perform the work the same day. The installer arrived to perform the replacements as planned. After completing the vent unit in his truck, he started the stationary unit replacement. After completing the stationary unit he went back to the truck to get the vent unit. While he was doing this, I noticed right away that the new outside snap bead he installed on the top of the stationary unit was very loose and installed poorly. The installer corrected this. Next he brought in the vent unit and placed it in the window framework. Right away I noticed the frames for this vent unit had been replaced very poorly with large gaps in 3 corners of the frame. I informed him this was not acceptable and he called another employee to request guidance. He asked me if it would be OK if he took the unit back to the shop so they could determine the problem and make proper repairs. He stated this should not take very long at all. After nearly 45 minutes I called the business to inquire the status and to make sure they would complete this work that day because the weather was threatening rain and we were not about to have this vent unit left open overnight for safety and or potential room damage concerns. I was informed he should arrive within 5 minutes. In the meantime, I hurried to try to mitigate the situation by taping plastic over the opening because rain was now coming in the room. The installer arrived while I was doing this and quickly placed the repaired vent unit back in the window frame. After he left, I had to pick-up several pieces of unused snap bead from the property he left behind. What really irritates me the most (outside of the unreasonable time and in convenience it took to accomplish this relatively simple service) is that the installer seemed to intend to pass-off this shoddy workmanship on the vent unit replacement. When I initially pointed out the poor workmanship to him, he stated he had not even noticed it. Totally unbelievable! I may be a little slow on the uptake sometimes but 'COME ON, GIVE ME A BREAK'! To their credit though, they did give me an additional discount for all the hassle and inconvenience and all representatives were friendly.

They did a great job. They attempted to correct a poor installation/design that had been done when the house was originally built (before we owned it) - the glass door bangs into the glass surround panel. They were unable to adjust the door to correct the problem but they were able to properly re-install the glass surround component (which was what we had asked them to do). I would definitely hire them again. They were professional, clean and were willing to come out to my house in the late afternoon/early evening for both the estimate and the install - much appreciated since my husband and I work. It was nice to hire them (vs a bathroom remodel contractor) since they just dealt with the glass - I think we got a better deal.

It was fantastic. They came within an hour of my call and worked hard to make sure the window was right. The gentleman did a great job at replacing the window, and he cleaned up all of the broken glass.

Service was great. The tech who came out was the same gentleman who did the initial damange assessment and estimate. He was done well within the initial time estimate originally provided, and was able to come out within two or three days of calling to schedule. The windows look great and you can't even tell there was damage. I would absolutely use Glass Doctor again.

Their bid was a bit higher then the other companies I received estimates from. They were nice to deal with, they responded quickly and were professional.

They were great. They worked with me on the price. They were professional. The sales rep and tech were great. The work was done quickly. They helped move things off the desks. I would go through them again if I needed anything.

It turned out just fine. They came out, measured the glass, had the piece made and came back and installed it just like the said they would.
