I get along very well with Dave. It is always a good experience when we talk on the phone about electrical upgrades or he stops by and has a look at things and gives recommendations.
Description of Work: Dave installed an outlet under the kitchen sink. He and I have been talking about it for awhile. He need to cut the garbage disposal line under the house, added a junction box, and add a new electrical run for under the sink. Now I can have a "Instant Hot" tank under the sink and needed faucet when I replace my countertop. Work took about 90 minutes. I did help and had some of the needed hardware.

Dave gave really good service at a good price. I was able to help him a lot so that may have helped on my price. The second closest bid from a very reputable firm was almost double what Dave bid. The $3100 I spent includes permits and taxes.Dave was recommended to me by a finish carpenter that I had hired. I did work with him a lot but that is how I am. I gave him the garage so he could bring all his gear in and leave it. I did a lot of the cleanup which was mostly sweeping and vacuuming. I learned a lot of electrical stuff from him but I was trying to be a good apprentice and really pitch in. Dave took the time to explain things to me too. All in all a very good experience.
Description of Work: 1) Had service upgraded to 200 amps. New breaker box, circuit breakers, meter box, outside conduit, mast and power leads. Removed old parts and drywalled area after inspection. 2) Had various new circuits installed. Separate circuits for fridge and microwave over stove, more outlets in den, more outlets in bathrooms, garage door opener outlets, etc. About 15 outlets and some switches. 3) Dave helped me clean up various CAT5 data lines, TV coax cables and speakers wires coming up thru the floor in the den. Rerouted so these lines/wires come out via wallplates now. Wasn't part of original bid but he just helped me anyway. 4) Got permits for all work and arranged inspections. Met with inspector. 5) Performed overall "check" of house looking for faulty outlets, swapped hots and neutrals, etc. and seeing what was tied to different breakers in the old box.
