The salesman was slick and we were fooled. They showed up unannounced to start the work without even a phone call. I had to scramble to unload the cabinets and drawers. The communication was horrible. The work crew had no idea what was going on so I had to explain everything over again. There were two guys that did the work. One worked for Dream Kitchens and the other was a relative working for cash. Is this even legal? They worked late into the evenings, with the one legally employed by the company, bad-mouthing everything about where he worked. He was a disgruntled employee who did horrible work. We tried to get them to come out to fix all the problems, but they were pretty much uncooperative. The quality was aweful. The work they did is falling apart. It should be called "Nightmare" Kitchens. This is a shady outfit that should be out of business. We got ripped off and I regret not suing these crooks.
Description of Work: We had our cabinets re-faced by this company. They did the kitchen and three bathrooms.

I call it "Nightmare Kitchens". A job that was promised to be done in one week took over two months. Each time someone came out he was unaware of the measurements done by the previous "craftsman". Drawers were wrong shape, wrong size. Debris was left for weeks. Material was shoddy and not as shown in samples. Company requested full payment before job was completed. Drawers stick and some are out of line. Wood used is dented in places and has filled knotholes in others. This should have been an easy and quick job. It was an unpleasant experience dealing with these people and the completed job is very far from being satisfactory or what was promised by the slick salesman.
Description of Work: Re-faced kitchen and bathroom cabinets. New drawers, new hardware.

They started on July 10th and today, August 11th I still do not have use of my kitchen or bathroom. They said it would take 5-7 days. I've had many days where they haven't even come or only work 2-3 hours. They always send different workers, which means I have to explain things every day. The specifics of the job have not been communicated to the workers from the company. I've complained about the quality of work from specific employees and they still send the same ones back. The supervisor tells me that he will come by to check the work but does not show up or call. They did not cover the floors or protect the appliances. I would never use this company again.
Description of Work: Refacing cabinets and installing new countertops (solid surface) in both kitchen and master bath. The job was completed 9/25/06.
