Overall we were very satisfied with our experience. The windows are of very high quality and look great. Installation went smoothly and without issue and we've had no problems in the 5 months we've had the windows. The only real 'problems' (if you want to call them that), were around the initial sales talk. The salesman was pretty aggressive, not used car salesman level, but more so than we would have preferred. This is our first house and our first experience replacing windows, so a gentler approach would have been appreciated. The other thing was around the Angie's List Deal that we got. We purchased the 50 dollars for 250 dollars worth of product deal, but when the salesman got to our house, he essentially said that was a pointless deal that the national company set up and that we shouldn't use it. Instead he gave us another 'deal' that he said would be better for us (but it was a bit hard to follow why it would be the better deal), and he refunded us the 50 we spent to Angie's list via a 50 dollar discount to the total cost. It probably was a better deal, but combined with the aggressive nature of sales pitch, it made us a little uncomfortable. Felt a little like a bait-and-switch to find out that deal was 'worthless' only after the salesman got to our house. Overall, we were happy with the windows and the cost (if a little high compared to most places). We'd definitely recommend Champion Windows to our friends and other Angie's List users, but be aware that you may be inviting an aggressive salesman into your house, and the deal you buy from Angie's List may or may not be actually valid.

He came by for the estimate. The man was very nice and polite. He informed me that the Big Deal wouldn't fit my needs, so I didn't end up using it.

the person who came in to do the estimate was great! he was on time, nice, professional and very informative. we liked the windows also; the estimate was close to other ones we got. the only reason we didn't go with Champion is that Champion windows would require some cutting into the window frame; we wanted to avoid this and we went with the company that was able to get us windows that perfectly fit our window frame.

Very professional, very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail. Very efficient installing the new windows and patio doors. Very pleased with our experience with Champion Windows.

Everything went according to plan. They showed up at the time that was given to be. It all went well they let me know which windows they were starting on first. The work was done very efficently and quick without any problems. They cleaned up after the installation of the windows you could not even tell they had been there(except for my beautiful double hung windows). Will use them again to replace the remainder outdated windows

They did a great job! Jim, our salesman was very professional and did a great job telling us about the windows and coordinating our service. Everyone was very professional and timely. When they actually put the windows in, we were at work all day, so didn't get to see the process, but it was so great to get back home to see all new windows and absolutely no mess! Very impressive work, and we will definitely use them for replacing the rest of our windows.

The job went great! The team of three - Hector, David and Freddy - began working with an energy I envied, and they kept it up each day until the windows were all in! Great crew, they can come back any time! All areas of our home interior were blocked off from dust/dirt with plastic sheeting held up with tension bars, then taped at the seams. Floors were covered, and all the workmen were careful where they stepped as well. French door was framed in and insulated ( houses like ours, built in the 50s, did not have much, if any, insulation), as were windows. After installation was complete, every bit of plastic and tape was removed and we were left with intact landscaping, un-dirtied and un-marked floors, and no trace that work had been done except for the as-yet unpainted door and window frames. We (wife, actually) did have a small problem with a half-screen offered by Champion that did not work exactly right - it slid from one side to the other depending on which side of the window you wanted open. Unfortunately, the insulation on one side was so thick that the screen did not fit into the track, offering a view of an unsecured screen to anyone who approached our front door. In spite of their not understanding the problem, Champion replaced it with a full screen, although it really was not the same at all, since I was sold the window with a come-on of "clear on one side, screen on the other". Not enough bother to give them less than an A, though ...

Our interaction was very positive, with the salesman who came out and the guys who came and did the work. I was very happy with them. They were quick and professional. When they did run into a glitch, they addressed it right away. One of their saw broke and the guy actually ran out and bought a new saw so they could finish the job instead of delaying it. Their pricing is comparable with everybody else.

Windows and door were fixed.

Sales person know his windows. He has samples of competitor windows for comparison. installation - somehow the person that measured the window made mistakes so now they have to come back and redo the sill in 2 windows. One of the window sills has a major dent so they will fix it as well. For the window remeasure and the dent i give them a C. The install of the windows took 2 days, 8 windows were done in the 1st day and the 2nd day they did the last 2 windows.

They were pretty good. I was very happy with them. They were fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We love Champion Windows. They are going to be here soon to do some more work for us. They are coming in to make an adjustment and replace a couple of windows. We've had windows from Champion for a long time. They do nice work when they do it and they stand by their product. The door was an interior exterior trim. It only opens on one side. It is like a double door out on the back. It is not a slider. It's a French door. It's has internal blinds in it and it is nice. They helped us decide on the door. A salesman came out and checked everything out and measured it. We don't live far from their saleroom and we've been there. We had a pretty good idea by the time he got here what we wanted. Our experience with them is all just positive. They come in, they are professional and they do a good job. They come in and get it done and clean up after themselves and you have a great product. Based on the product, their pricing is good. To me they are just a good company. I recommend them to my friends all the time.

Windows arrived early to the warehouse, they were fine with me holding off on the instillation for about a week, due to the new construction was not yet ready.. The windows being replaced were cheap vinyl windows, half of them failed, that were bought by the previous owner. They were prompt, came in and did all the work as needed and cleaned up after themselves. They were always interested in how things were going, and if I was pleased with their workmanship, etc. The only "issue" I had was the price. I know they make some of the very best windows in the market, but you pay for them. I could have gotten windows and doors cheaper. Am I happy with them? Too soon to tell right now, for I've not moved into the house being renovated. A year from now, I'll be able to give a better answer, I'm assuming I will be.

Initially, experience was very positive. Friendly and knowledgeable sales person. Installers were professional, tidy. At the time of install, it turned out that one window was cracked. I was initially told it would take 2 weeks for a replacement window to be made and delivered. That was early October. Weeks went by, and nothing. I made repeated calls and was told it would be a few more weeks. In the end I believe the replacement order was never initially submitted. I finally received the new window at the end of December. I didn't receive an apology or explanation. In the end I will likely use Champion again because I have more windows to replace and the product is excellent. I think this service issue was probably an anomaly, but nonetheless it was very frustrating.

Update: When we painted our house in late summer 2014, we discovered none of the new installed windows had been caulked at the top of the windows, and there were large open gaps above the window frames. In addition, several of our cedar siding pieces around the windows were cracked around the top of the windows, which we had to repair. I saw several newer postings about caulking issues and felt I should add this piece. ============= We first met Champion at the Home Show. This was a big purchase for us, and Andy & Jim were very patient answering all our questions. We appreciated their honesty about what they could and could not do. We decided to go forward and Andy came to our home for a final quote a week and measurements. We liked what we saw and agreed to install 5 windows. A couple of our windows were odd sizes, so going with Champion actually saved us money. In addition, we were very happy with the lifetime guarantee and that we could transfer the warranty if we sold the house down the road. We were very impressed with Champions customer service and for honoring the original deal that we signed. We are totally pleased with the windows. It is quieter, more even temperature and we love the flexibility of the screen and options to pull out to clean.

Everything went great and went according to plan. They arrived at the time they had given me and explained in details where they would start first. The job went fine we ran into a small glitch where one of the windows has a security montior on it. We had to figure out what to do but the crew manage to come up with the answer and all went well. The job was done in a couple of hours and I was very pleased with the outcome. The clean up was great you would never known wheather you were outside the house or inside that they had even been there. As a matter of fact I think it was more cleaner after they left. This is the third time I have used this company and I plan on using them again until all the windows are replaced. Like they say why mess with a good thing.

The service was very poor. The sales people were good and the product was good, but my caveat involves the subcontracting of the installation which was inadequately planned; this resulted in conflicting schedules, delayed appointments, and a mess which was due to lack of cleanup.

They were quick to schedule and did a great job. I've used them twice, and will use them again.

The service was fine and they did a really good job. There was a glitch with a frame but they are coming back to resolve it. It was easy to schedule and we were in contact with them very quickly. They were on time and it took about a day and a half to complete the work. They worked very quickly and cleaned up well. I have no complaints with the service and we are extremely pleased.

They finished the work that day. They took away the mess and left nothing behind. Everything about the service was great. They were awesome! I really like the quality of windows. Their staff was always professional and on time.
