I appreciated the quick return call when I inquired about the work we needed done. Tim came to see the scope of the work within a few days and started the job a few days after that. He did exactly what we requested in the time frame he said he would do it. In addition, he gave us verbal and texted us directions on how to care for our yard in the next 30 days, as well as how to avoid the same problem in the future.
Description of Work: Applied moss killer, thatched, haul out moss/under growth, top soil and seeded where needed, fertilized.

Tim was very helpful with advice on plant selections to make two landscaping screens. His installation work was done in a professional and timely manner. He solved an unexpected drainage problem without extra charge. Like many contractors, Tim is out in the field most days and does not always respond to emails promptly, which made it a little difficult to schedule the work. Once it was scheduled, his crew showed up on time and got it done quickly. Overall we liked working with him and will use him again.

The raised bed was great and he did a great job. The area around the fountain with rocks and plants looked good but didn't work out well. He put in a pretty grass plant that wound up spreading out. The shaded area under my tree he put in hosta and that area still looks great. However the plants that he put in the raised bed I have removed all except two. I don't think we had t he same vision on plants. I was very upset around the grass the spread out through the rocks. It's now 2 years later and I'm still trying to pull it out. I think that the company was good, but more detailed communication about plants would have been better.
Description of Work: Landscapes my small back patio. He put in a raised bed and plants, then a separate area under a tree in put in more shaded plants. I already had a fountain and he added rocks and plants around fountain.

The fence work was great. The terain was alittle and quot;hillyand quot; which made it tougher, but the workmanship is very professional. The job turned out Gorgeous. Many compliments from neighbors and family. The front bed clearing looks great, its was a ground fur tree like cover. So they had to dig out the roots, Wonderful job.

It went real well. There was a piece that needed to be continued to the house so we decided to keep going and continue and they did that fine. Their workmanship was great. Their materials were very nice. We wanted the PCB or something for the deck and it was nice. It held up the deck and the fence, it's been a year and there has been no problem. They weren't cheap but we didn't go with the cheap. They are just easy to work with, they are flexible and they have good materials. We probably would go with them again if we had something else.

They started the work almost three weeks (this was due to previous client wanting additional work). Once the work was started it was only a few hours here and there. When the project was estimated we were told it was a two week project from start to finish. When the project was started they only worked on the killing the grass that at the edges and adding mulch (this was a big improvement on the yard). When the bamboo was removed the contract stated it would be removed to the ground but the actual results was cutting it about 2 inches above ground leaving stubs poking up all over (Tim did mention that he could not prevent it from growing back but in this case it was not cut as low as it should have been). The big work was replacing the patio with a new patio. This part was delayed due to weather a few times because we were told that they needed good weather in order to make the concrete come out good (we accepted the delay because we wanted it to look right when it was done). When the concrete was poured we were told not to walk on or near the patio for 5 days so we did not go near it for 5 days. After the 5 day we inspected the concrete and we found many areas in the concrete that had edges of 1/4-1/2 inches in height, these edges would be perfect for someone that wanted to trip and fall on concrete. We brought up our concerns with Tim and he said that he would grind down all the rough edges (which he came out and did on the next trip delaying the installation of the pavers). When he started the installation of the pavers he was only able to get partially started because only 1/3 of the pavers were ordered for the project (this may have been an issue with the company delivering the pavers but still resulted in an additional one week delay). Once all the paver were fully installed we again went to check out the craftmanship and noticed that the pavers where not flush with the concrete and resulted in more edges these were bigger than the previous ones that were grinded down. Tim asked us to mark all the areas that needed smoothing out so that he could come back and grind them down. He came out and grided the edges again, however during this attempt it looks like he droped the grider in the middle of the patio as there is now a big gash in the patio. During college I have poured concrete myself and I can honestly say that I have never left a job site as rough as the work that was done by Champion Lanscaping. We now have a completed patio project that has grind marks at every edge because of the poor craftsmanship in pouring concrete and our only hope is that our feedback here can save someone else from making a poor decision to use Champion Lanscaping. The one thing that I can say now that the work is complete is that it is not pretty but it is complete and my two year old loves playing on the patio (of course she does not care about the flawed grinding everywhere).
Description of Work: Remove some bambooClean up grass line edges and add mulchRemove exsiting broken concrete patio and replace with a larger concrete slab with pavers (adding pavers was a recommedation from Tim the owner to break up the concrete and soften up the look). The total area of the patio space was a little over 800 square feet. We picked this company to do the work because Tim the owner reassured us that he would make the patio child friendly and safe as this was our goal to make the back yard safe for our two year old to play in.

We had a positive experience. We agreed upon the plan and they executed it in a timely manner. They offered us recommendations regarding how to take care of some cherry trees at our house which was sort of going above and beyond.

We had a great experience. We moved into a brand new house a couple of years ago and needed to get landscaping on the sides and back. A previous landscaper came out and told us not to put grass down on the sides of our house and recommended gravel instead. Timothy seemed to have more a technical knowledge of grass and recommended a specific type of grass that would grow in areas that do not receive as much sun. He built a full fence also and our yard now looks great! We also appreciated that he answered out questions regarding how best to maintain the grass and yard in the future. As for pricing, we did negotiate. He is not the cheapest (which I believe his website even says), but he does very quality work. I would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Timothy and his crew did complete landscaping for, which included laying down sod and bark, as well as building a fence.

I was in need of some landscaping to improve curb appeal, as house is going on the market in spring. From our initial meeting I knew I was in good hands with Timothy. He listened to my needs and expertly offered several suggestions of "what to do" and more importantly "what not to do" After accepting his bid, his biggest challenge was finding 2 good weather days in Nov/Dec. He put my job on "stat status" and diligently monitored the weather report. Finally the weather broke and all promised work was completed, including clean-up. Everything looks great, I would use his services again.

Overall it went well. Had to change the estimate time at the last minute, but was selected out of 3 services considered because he really seemed to listen to what we want and not try to convince us of something else. Took into account the fact that we live on a sloping, protected greenbelt and was able to take care of our yard without any risk to the greenbelt.
Description of Work: Had an overgrown back and front yard that needed weeding, trimming of bushes and bark/soil. They performed all of those services.

I was satisfied with their services. He was very professional but shy. He's quiet which could be good or bad. I found a couple of times I had trouble with communication but that was because I did not ask enough questions maybe. I would use their services again in the future as I am planning to in the fall.
Description of Work: I used the services of Champion Landscaper.Com Llc. The last time I used their services was on 30th of June. They put fog down and beauty bark.
The experience went well overall. Other plans from other landscapers were not this creative. In fact, when we asked another landscaper who submitted a bid about Timothy's plan, they scrapped their own idea and said that we should do what he suggested. Our work was finished on the day that we told him that it needed to be done by. The quality of work was top-notch and we are very happy with the results. Our only complaint was that he wanted to charge us $120 for haul away of the garbage after the deck was built. However, he didn't stick us with delivery charges on everything, like other landscaping companies have charged our neighbors. He still comes by to winterize our irrigation system for $75 a year with a large air compressor (per our request), which we think is very reasonable. The entire process took four weeks from beginning to end.
Description of Work: Our back yard had a several slope with a very small, rotting deck prior to being landscaped. Timothy listened to what we wanted and then came up with a plan to level the back yard with one large flat area that sits in between two retaining walls that disappear into the slope of the yard. We also had him build a large Trex deck with Trex railing that runs almost the length of our entire house. In addition, he put an irrigation system in for our front and back yards. Finally, he pulled up all of the grass in our back yard, hauled in topsoil, fixed the sod in our neighbor's yard that was damaged from the tractor he used and resodded another area for him for free (because of inconvenience and noise). And he resodded our back yard.

Everytime I winterize their sprinkler system I take joy in the quality results of their deck, retaining wall, sprinklers and overall yard design. I appreciate the Member's and the trust they place in our company to let us reshape their landscape to meet their family needs. I do appreciate the feedback on the $120 cleanup charge. I will improve on how I communicate those type of charges upfront so I can offer a flawless experience for you and others. Thank you and have a blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
