Atlantic Tile & Granite

It started out well. Nick Clay responded timely to request for estimate, arrived a few minutes before, provided proposals and revisions timely and clearly. However, when I communicated to Nick that I wanted to break the project into 2 phases with Phase 1 on main-level and basement and Phase 2 on upper-level bathrooms, they dropped off the communication, and didn't respond further to my email asking for next steps in setting up schedule and developing payment structure etc. Perhaps they felt with project split into 2 phases, it was big enough for them or something. I was getting ready to sign with Atlantic Tiles, was disappointed that they dropped off the planet. UPDATE 6-16-2017 * This is responding to Nick Clay's comments to my first review. The reason I usually communicate through email and text is for discussion traceability, and what Nick said is NOT what happened. The last communication was that I sent him a text asking him to get back to my email where I had questions, about timing, payment structure, etc. I knew it was going to be 4 to 6 weeks out from the start, I just wanted to know around which month/week I should plan the project for now that we had finalized the project. He texted me back he'd get back to me next day when he got to the office. I didn't hear back the next day or the day after or the week after. Nearly 2 weeks have gone by and I still didn't hear anything from Atlantic Tiles, until I wrote the first review then I got a call from Nick asking me to call him back. Before his incorrect recap of what actually happened, I'd still consider working with Atlantic Tiles, but no longer.

They were very patient with us. We were slow at choosing what we really wanted. We paid a portion up front for their quartz countertop options but then switched to Granite and they honored their current granite sale price so we saved some money there. We finally decided on a slab of granite and worked with them to mount our countertop templates on the slab so we could know exactly what to expect. We had extra surface area beyond that which was covered by the coupon but we knew that going in. The people we worked with were all super nice and great customer service providers. The installation team worked very hard to make it all fit. Also, I felt totally comfortable with everyone who came to our home. They also performed the demo work and it would have been nice to know how much debris was going to end up inside the base cabinets. Had we known, we could have removed everything before they started or maybe tried to cover everything exposed in the cabinets. There is a joint at the "elbow" that is ever so very slightly imperfect which I have seen on so many other granite instalations. Also, there was a flaw in the surface of the slab we picked out. I didn't see it until the light reflected off of it only from a certain angle. The installers were hesitant to try to fix it because of the limitations of their tools in the field but in the end they took a shot at eliminating the flaw. I appreciate that they went the extra mile to address my concerns the best they could.

They completely gutted and redid the bathroom. I purchased the tub, cabinet and sink on my own. Their tile and quartz counter was fabulous, the work was excellent. I used glass tile and they handled it beautifully. Couldn't be happier.

I found Atlantic on Angie's List and visited their warehouse. We dealt with Nataliya who was very professional and helpful through the entire process. There was zero haggling or hidden costs as everything was put right out front. Time delay was short and they were able to get things done quickly. The tearout and install only took about 3 1/2 hours. Outstanding work on hiding the seam. There was a slight hiccup on installing the wrong sink (same sink wrong drain location) but they made it right by sending a plumber out at their cost for the workaround. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to our friends.

Atlantic Tile and Granite did an excellent job. They removed carpeting and laminate from my master bathroom floor. I went to their showroom and picked out a modern tile which they installed beautifully. One of the tiles ended up having a defect in it and we both noticed it on the 2nd day during grouting. I asked that it be replaced with one of the leftover tile and they took the time to replace it. I was afraid I'd be able to tell that they replaced it, but couldn't. Looks flawless and really updated the look of my master bathroom. I'd hire Atlantic Tile and Granite in a heartbeat again and I'm a picky customer.

They were right on time, worked around and with the other contractors. Delivered the job to perfection.

I am so pleased with my experience with Atlantic Tile and Granite. I needed granite countertops and tile backsplash for my kitchen. The master bath required Granite counter tops and extensive tiling for the Shower, tub surround and floor. Everyone I came in contact with from AT&G were wonderful. In particular, Nataliya was always available to answer my many questions, help with picking out materials and coordinating the activities. Dimitri did a fantastic tile job. He was very careful in laying out the tile so the different sizes and shapes flowed beautifully. He also was patient with me because I had many questions. The end result is a beautiful kitchen and master bath. My neighbors and friends all said "wow" when they saw the finished project. I also appreciated that I was told beforehand where we might have some problems and extra costs. Fortunately, it didn't occur but I was prepared in case it happened. I would not hesitate to use this company in the future.

It came out beautiful!! Ivan showed my home so much respect and was so professional. They are fantastic.

I was in a hurry and they came out 1 week after I talked to them, and allowed me to come down to their showroom to view the larger slabs. I picked out what I wanted and it was installed a week later. The day of the install they had a piece that was cut wrong, and they promised they would fix. Less than another week later, they brought a new piece and it looks great. The only down side, is they need a better sealing coat.

He came in to give us a quote but he never gave us a quote. He said he will email it in 24 hours. Never did. Additionally he wasn't very informed about the products. Extremely disappointed.

My husband and I hired these guys after vetting over a dozen other companies. We settled on these guys because they didn't have any hidden costs, prices were very reasonable, and their reviews were great. We're so glad we went with them. Its a family run business and they work together to really go the extra mile. They're honest, professional, affordable and very approachable. We would definitely recommend them and use them again ourselves!

ATG was solid. FIrst, they are about 20/sq foot cheaper than the box stores for quartz. Natalia was always able to pick up the phone and I appreciate this. There was some confusion about what needed to be done initially, but I was able to sort this out. After installation, there was a seam that was not filled in after the install and one of the holes for a controller needed to be cut larger. I called and they fixed this quickly. Negatives: There was a large chip on the edge of the countertop but the installer ensured me that the this would be covered up when I tiled the backsplash. When the plumber came in to install fixtures he noticed that the quartz does scratch easily when it comes in contact with metal. Some of the holes that were drilled in do have scratch marks around the holes from the drill bits. I do not think these can be fixed. Other than these quips I do like the countertops. In the photos, the backsplash has not yet been installed.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The working crew was professional. The installation crew took the time to layout covering from our front door to the kitchen, so as not to damage our hardwood floors. They fully minimized the damage to our existing backslash so extra work was not required. The crew was quick and did a stellar installation. They even swept/cleaned out floors after moving appliances and completing the full job. Excellent service and menatality.

I've used Atlantic Tile and Granite for all of my projects. We just finished kitchen/bathroom number three and moving onto our fourth project. I've used two other companies before I found this one and wow! What a difference. Nick is always on time and can answer any questions you have. Nataliya is helpful when trying to pick out granite over the phone by sending pictures of what is in stock. There are no "seams" glaring out and the granite looks beautifully showroom polished when they are done. I won't go anywhere else and after you use them, I doubt you will either!

I wanted to get my master bathroom redone-they had a big deal offer for $8200 so I put the $699 down to secure the deal. Long story short they wanted $20,000 for the remodel. I told the guy for twenty grand the bathroom better give me my YOUTH back. Basically false advertisting. I called Angie's List and I am getting my money back-but I wasted my time and theirs. Don't bother with this company unless you want to pay twice the big deal amount. I even offered to go 12,000 which was about 20% over the big deal 'cause I understand how these things work-but there was no way I was going 100% over the big deal-big deal big bother and I want those hours of my life back!

Their experienced professionals knew their business and set right to work performing the installation. No time was wasted in this process because the measurements had carefully been taken during a pre-visit to our home, and the granite had been cut to these precise measurements. The counter top was installed in the first day and the backsplash with tile and grout were installed the next. The employees were courteous and did not leave a mess when finished. I would hire this company again.

Overall, this was a good experience with nice results. They came and measured our countertops very soon after calling to set up an appointment. We were able to visit the warehouse and pick out the slab we wanted. They didn't have a huge selection to choose from, but it was more than adequate for our needs and offered a good variety. Removal of our old countertops and installation of the new counters went very smoothly. The guys performing the work did a great job and appeared very experienced. I'd recommend these guys to anyone looking for new countertops and would use them again in the future.

Excellent. Installed within 3 days and everything was excellent. Extremely happy with the results. They did exactly and above what was expected.
