Description of Work: Bathroom remodel. New tile floor, reworked shower tile, replaced tile tub surround. two new undercounted sinks and granite countertops. Existing cabinetry was reused. Installed new quiet ventilation fans. Replaced tile backsplash in kitchen. |Job stayed pretty much on schedule. Contractor (Tomas) was always responsive to changes and problems. Change order costs were equitable. We are happy with his work and proud to show it off.

Description of Work: They have contacted me right away about any questions I had. They will come and measure for my kitchen counter top and come out to do the work. A week after they will come to install.

Description of Work: We got granite countertops from Atlantic. They brought samples and when we couldn't find something we really liked, they worked with us to show other options that cost a little more, but we found what we were looking for. We had a couple trouble spots that required extra effort when it came to the back splash against a warped wall, and they did a good job with what they had to work with. The whole process was quick and efficient. We're very happy with our new counters.

Description of Work: We saw the special on Angie's List, a bathroom remodel for $5,499.00 and called the listed number. We asked them to give us an estimate and the guy said he would do work in Kitsap County. It was extremely difficult to find a time when this man was willing to come to Kitsap County even though he said he came from Tacoma the day he came to our home. He said he doesn't work on weekends, including meetings with potential customers, and he only works from 9 to 5:00p so I wondered how he dealt with clients who also have the same working hours as he. When he got here, on time, he looked at the job. We already have cabinets, granite counter tops, toilet, sinks, and hardware installed; we just needed someone to finish the muding, taping, and texturizing of the drywall, to install a shower, floor to ceiling tiles in the shower, and tile flooring. We figured the Angie's List "deal" would cover nearly everything we needed done since we had a lot of things already completed. The guy quoted us over $9,000.00 instead anything near the $5,499.00 Angie's List deal and told us that he would have to charge us more to come out to the Kitsap area. In addition, he said he'd have to pay his plumber more for coming to Kitsap or told us we would have to hire our own plumber from this area. |The man was polite, on time, and seemed to know what he was talking about but I was unhappy that he'd wasted both our time and his coming to Kitsap County without telling us there would be additional charges for traveling before agreeing to meet with us. From the very onset of the meeting he told us the Angie's List deal was just a baseline and that each job differs in price all of the time. I wondered why he would make such a deal with Angie's List and not adhere to that offer particularly in cases where the jobs' needs and requirements were less than what the deal offered. It felt like one of those "bait and switch" deals and I was very disappointed. |As we were wrapping up the bathroom remodel discussion the television set was on broadcasting news of disruption in the Ukraine and the man began watching television. I could tell he was distracted by the news than discussing our bathroom remodeling needs and asked him if he wanted to sit down to watch television. He then realized he was watching TV instead of paying attention but clearly his mind wasn't on business. We finished our meeting and he has not made any further contact with us. We would not hire him because I didn't feel he was upfront with us when I made the initial phone call, I was concerned that there may be additional charges throughout the project that we hadn't expected, and I worried that since there was so much adjusting on our part to his schedule that he may be equally inflexible working with us.

Description of Work: We had additional square footage, added a backsplash and upgraded the sinks (although the quality of the original sink was very good, we wanted bigger sinks). Everyone associated with Atlantic Tile was wonderful to work with. They communicated all timelines and goals and were quick to follow-up on any changes. They took the time and care to preserve our old cabinets and did not damage anything in the demolition. Very good company. We love our new kitchen.

I talked to past customers and both people I spoke to gave him an excellent review. The company we ended up going with tied in the powder room with their estimate and so they beat Atlantic on price when doing the 2 spaces - otherwise we would have gone with him for our kitchen counter tops.
