The installation process went well and fast and we are happy with the way things look like! The backsplash looks perfect, there was no mess and was all done really quickly. Regarding the countertops they were well measured and installed and I think we were offered good advice when we asked about things like what kind of edges to use. It was really nice we didn't have to buy slabs and pay for all that extra material. We had a small issue with the way the piping was installed for the dishwasher but the plumbing company came to fix it really quickly. Same for the rounded bar that we had installed, it needed some polishing on the back, the team was promptly on fixing that right away. I'll definitively use them again for the next project, they were fast, on schedule, and with a very competitive pricing!

They were punctual and fast and the work was excellent. After the initial estimate we decided not to have the work done because we had so many more square feet than the offer allowed. The price was good, though, so a month or so later we went ahead with it. We are very happy with the results - it updated and changed the whole look of our kitchen. And I don't worry about stains on the countertop anymore.

Obtained quotes from 5 countertop companies. Atlantic Tile & Granite was the most reasonably priced. The owner, Tomas Slivka, came to our house with his countertop samples and, utilizing his expertise, we made our granite selection. Subsequently, we visited his office/warehouse and were able to see the granite slabs up close and also were able to observe his crew cutting slabs for other customers. Atlantic Tile & Granite doesn't have a big fancy showroom like some of his competitors so he can keep his overhead costs down and, consequently, charge less than the others. On the install day the two-man crew arrived promptly on schedule. They were very professional and made sure to lay down covers to protect the floors. They removed the old countertops and were very careful not to do any collateral damage. My main concern about installing granite countertops was how the seams were going to look. In other companies showrooms I saw countertops where the seams were obvious to spot. The grains in the granite didn't match up and it didn't look good. However, the Atlantic Tile & Granite crew did an excellent job with the seams. They were very tight and difficult to spot. After countertops and the sink were installed, the crew sealed the granite and cleaned up. They hauled away the old countertops, sink, disposal and cooktop. The finished product looks better than I had imagined. I am absolutely happy with the job that was performed and would highly recommend them to others! In addition to the countertop quote, Tomas gave me a separate quote for backsplash installation. Again, I obtained other quotes as well and, again, Tomas was the most reasonable. His installer, Serge, provided helpful suggestions and was able to complete the job in one day. He also did an excellent job and his finished product looks great!

Two installers came and worked continuously for about 6 hours. Excellent clean up and protection of floors. Returned the following day to repair some chips and nicks in the granite. Said they would return for repairs any time we found a need. We do not hesitate to recommend.

A little concerning with the late appointments, but in the end it all worked out great and I am very happy with the end result.

Our experience with Atlantic Tile and Granite was very positive. Tomas was always quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls. He and his crew were pleasant to have in our home. They set down tarps to walk on and cleaned up after themselves, so as soon as they were done the kitchen looked beautiful.

They are fabulous! We have no complaints and would certainly hire them again because they were so great.

The contractor looked at the situation and had it fully repaired within 90 minutes. He pulled the sink out, cleaned the edges above and below and installed a metal strapping system that should have been installed in the first place to avoid this issue.I would absolutely use them in the future and would highly recommend them. The price was also far below what I was expecting to pay based on what the situation appeared to be.

Tomas Slivka promptly scheduled a date to come to our residence to determine our needs. He was punctual and arrived at our home with samples and all the tools to create his template. He provided us with a comprehensive and expert evaluation of the style and appearance of the granite to complement our kitchen decor and cabinets. He made excellent suggestions as to design, and provided insightful tips and recommendations to enhance the look we wanted to obtain. His expertise was evident and we accepted his suggestion to go with a full height backsplash to replace our 4-inch oak backsplash along the area extending behing the sink, topped by a gorgeous slab of granite on top of the accent wall. We selected 4 inch granite backsplashes on the remaining areas. With his assistance in evaluating the samples, we chose the Santa Cecilia granite with a nice quarter bevel edge, as it appeared to complement the cabinets. Tomas answered all our questions in a professional manner and we found him to be a very patient advisor. He precisely created his templates and scheduled an installation date for our job. The following week he responded to our emails as we chose our faucets and presented our questions to him. We found that it was easy doing business with Tomas, he was very cooperative and prompt in all correspondence. We became aware that every customer is important to him. At every step of the process he was the consummate professional. On the date of installation two installers arrived at our residence on time. They encountered some difficulty in removing our countertops (they had been glued to the cabinets) but quickly resolved the problem and the installation went smoothly over a span of 5 hours. The men installed the undermount stainless steel sink. The craftsmen Tomas sent to our home were obviously expert installers and the granite countertops, backsplashes, and top stone were flawless and perfectly cut to a precise fit at each point of install in our kitchen. The final product is beautiful and expertly crafted and installed. We had a plumber subsequently install the new faucet, soap dispenser, air gap and undercounter plumbing.

Great! Tomas gave us a timely estimate that was considerably less than others. We had freedom to choose granite and tile from most any supplier. Some of the tile was only available as "special order" glass. Scheduling was flexible and installation as promised. My wife describes his craftsmen as "fussy" in getting the fit just right. When it was discovered that our cabinets needed extra trim, Tomas asked for our approval of the material and provided the material, finish carpenter and painting at no additional cost.We are very happy with their work.

Tomas Slivka, the owner, showed us options for the granite, gave us a quote, and we set up a date. He also made suggestions that were useful. The entire remodel took three days, although he had originally said it could be completed in one. (I could see that he was an optimist). His assistants, Yuri and Ivan, were focused and pleasant and quick to respond to my questions and concerns. Both our kitchen and bathroom have left the 80s behind and we are so pleased. What I especially appreciated about Mr Slivka is that he kept me posted every step of the way. I never had the feeling that I was being kept out of the process.

Since we will be selling our home soon, we wanted to improve the appearance and functionality of our kitchen without depleting our retirement savings. Over the years the tiled countertops had become discolored or had simply dissolved from bleach abuse. The oak backsplashes and counter edges were water damaged and unsightly. I called a few countertop installers, including one highly-rated one on Angie's List who had my number but never called me back. Atlantic Tile and Granite, also high on Angie's List, took my call and promptly arranged to meet with us. The owner, Tomas Slivka, came byto give us an estimate and show us two samples of granite that were at a reduced price. He suggested that we make the peninsula counter wider, which we thought was a great idea. He stopped by the same week to measure everything for the template and got the specs for the new cooktop we had ordered. The granite counters are absolutely gorgeous -- even more beautiful than the sample. The oak cabinetry had been looking tired before, but with the new counters the cabinets are the last thing you notice, and at a glance you'd think they were new, too. The edges of the counters are smooth, everything lines up, and the tile backsplash looks great. Dmitri the tiler took pride in his work, sealing the edges with the right kind of caulk for the job and taking his time. Most kitchen remodels seem to cost in the $20,000 to $50,000 range, so we had delayed modernizing our 1986 kitchen while most of the neighbors' kitchens progressed into the 21st Century. Atlantic Tile and Granite enabled us to transform our blah kitchen into an up-to-date and beautiful heart of the house without sacrificing our financial peace of mind.

Beginning with Tomas's initial visit for an estimate, everything was handled professionally, always with good communications and staying right on schedule with everything. The countertops went in one day and the backsplash was done by Tomas's tiler on another day. He usually does the tile the next day, but I was waiting on a custom tile order because I did not want to choose a backsplash tile until countertops were in so I could get a better idea of what would tie into the decor the best. Tomas was fine with that arrangement so I took a few days to choose a tile which was custom made and took a couple of weeks to get, but once I had the tile in hand I let Tomas know and he had the tiler out the next day to complete the job.......which looked great!

We selected this company based on the positive feedback on Angie's list. Tomas took us to a granite dealer so we could select the granite for our countertops. He came later the same day to take the measurements and gave an accurate estimate. They arrived on time on the scheduled day and replaced the old counter top and sink with a new granite countertop and stainless steel sink. The people were courteous and the results look great. After a few days, we noticed a gap between the dishwasher and the new countertop and Tomas had it fixed right away. Overall, we are very happy with the cost and the work, and gladly recommend this company.

The experience vwas pleasant and only took two days. The men made sure that they cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous.

We have an "L" shaped countertop with sink, a 6' x 6' island with a stovetop and electrical cutout, plus another small piece of counter. We removed the sink, stovetop and electrical outlet. 3 men arrived about 10 a.m. and started to remove the old countertop leaving the old tile backsplash intact. They then installed the new countertops and island granite. Had a few problems with window cutouts, but were able to make the adjustments on site. As a whole, they were very professional and took care to keep the area clear of debris - they even scrubbed the floor in the kitchen and garage after they were all finished. We had a previous estimate on Ceasarstone. The estimate was in excess of 9 thousand dollars and we would have to do the demolition. I do not believe you can go wrong in hiring this company. We spent $3,880 before tax and that included a 10% senior citizen discount.

Was not able to pick out individual slab as we had bought the bid deal but we were happy with the one we got.Overall went very well for an exceptional price.

We found Atlantic Tile and Granite through Angie?s List from one of their BIG DEALS? We called them up and they were very friendly on the phone and really worked with our calendar to schedule our free estimate. The owner, Tomas, came out the next day and took the measurements and explained the Deal, what it included and didn?t, and then gave us options on how to move forward if we wanted to. Sadly, the deal was only for 50 sq.ft. and we needed 66 sq.ft. However, Tomas had an Angie?s List coupon and worked with us to use that coupon and then threw in a whole bunch of stuff to make a special deal for us. My wife and I then talked it over for a couple of days (we did a couple of comparisons, which came out $1,000 to $2,000 more). We were pretty sure we were going with ATG so we called Tomas for some granite sample. He dropped them off the next day (Tomas really went out of his way to accommodate our schedule and was always very friendly about it and truly worked with needs. We never felt like we were a burden, and that?s how it should be). Once we decided to move forward it took a week to get the granite fabricated and one day to fully install it. It?s beautiful and well worth the money. There were some hiccups. That night we noticed a small leak from the garbage disposal and the dishwasher didn?t fully drain. We called Tomas that night he apologized and sent one of his team members out the next day and fixed the issues. They were excellent and professional!!!

I interviewed 3 countertop contractors that I chose from Angie's List.Two were around $3000 for the project, and the third was a $1000 higher. I chose Atlantic Tile and Granite because Tomas,the owner, came out to do the initial bid, not a sales person, but also because he described how he could handle all the plumbing and electrical hook ups without us needing to hire an outside plumber and pay and coordinate workers. Tomas directed us to wholesale dealers of Quartz(we chose a quartz countertop because it had no upkeep, it is highly durable, and of relative low cost. Also the slab was smaller than most granite and marble ones so there was less waste. One 120X55 inch by 3cm slab covered all our counters and 5" backsplash. We ordered a stainless sink from Home Depot(they were the only seller with a 28" wide sink that would fit our old cabinet). The sink went to Tomas's shop so he could cut out the opening while we were on vacation. The stove( Home Depot) was delivered before we left and the faucet(Overstock.com) came while we were gone ....great and fortunate timing. The Atlantic crew arrived the day after we returned home, I was sure it was a 2 day job, but it was finished in 10 hours. The difficult removal of the old counter went smoothly, and nobody complained or slacked off.Tomas had made a template during his second visit before the installation, and the counters fit perfectly. The sink and faucet were very tight and difficult fits, but Tomas showed skill and improvisation in getting each to fit and work well. They leveled the counter next to the range and connected and installed it as well. They constantly cleaned and vacuumed the work site, and the caulking was done neatly and with care. I must admit that I was anxious before work began, I felt with so many variables, a lot could go wrong. I felt Tomas and his crew were a good choice,they calmly dealt with each difficulty and made it just part of the job without fuss or upset.

Atlantic was very competitive in pricing, did an outstanding job, they were courteous, accommodating, and always on time (if not, they called). Rather than having the typical seams in the corners of the countertop, they designed our countertops so that there was only one seam of only 3 inches showing and it is difficult to see! While this design made it much more difficult in cutting, transporting and installing, Atlantic proposed this design while the other three contractors did not. In my opinion, I got best price with the best end result. My wife and I could not have been more pleased with their work and pricing. The ceramic tile floor installation was perfect as well. The installations could not have gone more smoothly, no surprises, excellent.

They were the sub-contractors that I hired through a granite company. I had some issues but it was not because of them. It was because the company that I was dealing with did not pay them. So, they were actually putting a lien on my house. I worked with them privately to get that taken care of. It was easy enough to resolve but the company that they were working with ran out of business and they had a number of law suits against them. I was not the first person that it happened to. Thomas was the owner of Atlantic Tile and Granit and he was very good at what he did. His employees were Romanian and did not speak any English. So, there wasn't any kind of communication with them. When they were putting the counter tops in my kitchen, they slammed it against my refrigerator. So, there was a dent in my refrigerator which would be the only complaint that I had against them although I noticed it much later. I would use them again in the future but I would pay a closer attention to what they would be doing.

Tomas Slivka did a great job on our kitchen! He and his crew took out our old countertops and he cut and installed new granite countertops. Tomas took away all of the old material and he even installed our new cooktop and sink. He replaced parts that were in bad shape and cleaned up everything beautifully. Tomas is very professional and very detail oriented and it shows in his fine craftsmanship with the stone. The estimate he gave us was accurate, with no hidden surprises. We will definitely use Atlantic Tile & Granite in the future! Great company to do business with!! Thanks Tomas for a job well done! Just a little update: Our counter tops were installed 3 1/2 years ago by Tomas and due to the house settling a bit, a gap appeared in the seam. They sent Miguel out right away and within 2 hours he had it looking fantastic!! No charge!! No wonder this company has such great ratings! Very honorable people to work with!!!
