the new counter tops and installed an upgrade undermount sink. We purchased the granite coupon for #2299.00. We contacted the company and made an appointment with Tomas to come to the house and take measurements and to pick out which color of granite we wanted. We narrowed down the type of granite and the template guy came as Tomas left. He created the template and the next day we went down to the shop to see the slab.and we were happy. We put off installation for 1 week and a half and they came to install. The did the demo and cleaning, set up the counter tops and left the house immaculate. They did install the sink and reinstalled the cook top, but the homeowner is responsible for the sink plumbing and rehooking up the cook top which is spelled out up front. We are extremely pleased with the results and work done by Atlantic Granite and tile.

Awful never use this service!

We received two other estimates from very experienced contractors whom we would not have hesitated to employ, but they were much higher. We decided to take a chance on Atlantic due to their price and excellent reviews on Angie's List, and we were not disappointed. Tomas and Nick were very accomodating, easy to get hold of, explained everything, measured and scheduled it perfectly. Their workers worked to complete the job in two very full days from 7 am until 8:30 pm the last day. The countertop men, the plumbers, the tile contractor and cabinet contractor were all very professional, courteous, detailed and hard-working men. We were impressed and pleased with the job, and have recommended Atlantic to friends and neighbors. Be aware that you need to have any appliances, faucet, disposal, power cord for disposal, tile, grout and caulking available for the men to install. We did have to schedule the gas reconnection of our stove on our own through an outside company referred by PSE.

The person who runs the operation is very good. However, the installers themselves are not so great. They broke a lot of stuff and never mentioned it until they were out of the house. Their matching of seams on the granite was very poor. However, their price was good compared to the other places I had gotten quotes from.

I used them through one of the deals on Angie's List. It was okay. They were good. They came and did the job. They kind of left a little bit of a mess in my house as far as dust and the vacuum cleaner they used. I think it blows up dust instead of sucking up dust. There was this bellow of dirt and dust that came out of my bathroom and into the couch. It was something with the sealer on the granite, and they had to come back out and apply some more of the special alcohol to it. I am still having problems with it, so it looks like I am going to have to call them out again so that they can wipe it down again with whatever it is. They were accommodating. They didn’t have a lot of granite choices and I understand that they are a very small outfit.

They were great. They were prompt and the craftsmanship was excellent. I would tell the other members to go for it, they are A+.

Atlantic Tile & Granite were very timely and professional. Their cost was really good as well. They were really punctual, I think they came out the next day when I asked them for a quote.

I can't rave enough about Atlantic Tile and Granite! Their prices are amazing for the quality and selection of granite counter tops. Their estimator, Nick, was amazing. I wanted to replace my large u-shaped kitchen and island counter tops with granite, but I wasn't sure about the butler's pantry (didn't know if the total price would be too much). Nick carefully explained all my options, sometimes going over the same material repeatedly as I formulated the different jobs vis-a-vis prices in my mind. Many outfits that offer lower prices do not use particularly attractive granite, but all the standard selections were as beautiful and unique as the top of the line at Home Depot or Costco. The selection is classic, yet unusual and not seen everywhere. Nick was so informative and helpful; I immediately asked to move forward with the project. The price was so affordable, I included the butler's pantry in the job, as well. The crew came in and installed really wonderful granite counter tops. The installation was fast, clean and efficient, and the final product was beautiful. Simply gorgeous. Most of my neighbors and friends replaced their counter tops with granite at least five years ago, but I know they paid over twice as much as I did with Atlantic. I wanted to choose so many of their granite selections, but had to go forward with stones that fit my repainted kitchen design - off-white cabinets with the black Ubatuba on the outer counter tops and the Kashmire White for the island. The estimator will bring actual samples, but the Ubatuba has a beautiful three dimensional quality with gold flecks, but the green and black Saint Cecelia is so beautiful -- and green is very rare in granite and I was tempted to throw my kitchen design out the window and go for it. I give Atlantic Tile and Granite my very highest recommendation.

Quick response to my purchase, initial meeting set up to discuss options and measure for number of square feet needed for our project. Appointment made to make a template in approximately one week. All work completed as promised. The installers respected our property and did an excellent job. They were fast and efficient. We are very please with the product and the service.

It turned out even better than I imagined! Quality and speed at a great price. I work around a fair number of contractors and I found Tomas and his entire crew VERY easy to work with and their quality and workmanship really is top-notch.

We purchased the Big Deal for granite counter for $2299 for the kitchen. Tomas responded immediately and set up the first appointment to take the measurements and have us select the granite counter. During that time, we decided to include the master bedroom counter which added $760 for the counters, sinks, and undermount sink cut-out. What was not included in the Big Deal is plumbing reconnection which cost $700 and the choices of granite included 3 out of 6 selections which cost an extra $100. Our roommate who has very high standards made them come out twice to redo the glaze (since we were out of town) to make sure it could handle water which they did so graciously. After the job was completed, there was a misunderstanding as to what we wanted to keep and they left the old pipes. Overall we are pleased with our counters and their service.

Tomas and his crew from Atlantic were great to work with. He and his crew were responsive, flexible, professional and provided excellent craftsmanship. And, his prices were among the best. What else can you ask of a contractor. If you have done any home improvement work with contractors, you know how difficult things can be. Contractors disappear during the middle of your job or may not show up at all. Choices have to be made regarding material both from an aesthetic point, availability, price and compatability with your job. Time and schedules also need to be coordinated. If you have done granite slab or even tile remodeling, you know that there are a million choices from many different local suppliers. To achieve satisfactory results, you need to be able to count on your contractor to be responsive and flexible. Tomas was always timely in responding to emails and phone calls. And, he was very flexible in accomodating our needs. For example, when the granite slabs were were considering seemed like they would not work, he met us at the supplier in Seattle and together we actually applied the templates over the slabs. When we needed to postpone the job for a week, he accomodated us. When it came to installation, his crew was on time and professional and hardworking. His tile installer, Dimitry, worked very hard and is an excellent craftsman. The entire job, kitchen and bathroom, was finished in about a week, the estimated time Tomas said it would take. We could not be happier with how it all looks and came together. We started these projects about 6 months ago in order to ensure, as best we could, that we got the granite and tile choices we wanted, a good contractor and good prices. We visited countless granite contractors from Woodinville, to Federal Way to Kent. We learned about how the process worked betweeen the granite slab and tile wholesale suppliers and installers. We got or tried to get bids from numerous contractors. Amazingly, some contractors did not return calls or just did not respond. (I guess business is so good, that they don't need customers.) When the contractor we thought we were going to use never got back to us with final numbers, I went on Angies List and found Atlantic. I provided him with the job specifications via email and he emailed me back his estimate. We visited with Tomas at his office in Kent and were impressed right off the bat how friendly and easy he was to work with. (Don't worry that his business office does not have a fancy showroom. Less overhead means better prices. Besides, the showrooms really are at the material suppliers.) As mentioned, our experience with Tomas and Atlantic was excellent. He was responsive, trustworth, flexible, professional, excellent craftsmanship and among the best prices. Everything that you expect and need from your contractor.

I purchased the deal through Angie's List for $2299 and chose to upgrade the granite type (+$100) and I also purchased an undermount granite sink (+/- $300) and tax, so the total cost was closer to $2900 for us. I was contacted shortly after my purchase to set up an appointment to have my counters measured and a template made. Tomas showed up when he said he would and brought granite samples for me to choose from. We discussed various options and I made my choices. He then made a template of my countertops and set an appointment for the installation . A week later, two of his men showed up exactly on time and spent the next 3-4 hours transforming my kitchen! They were polite and professional and worked very diligently. The workmanship is perfect and the counters and sink look beautiful! The price doesn't include plumbing, so you may need to arrange that. The holes for the kitchen faucet, etc. were drilled a little too close to the lip of the sink( which is under the counter) so we had to do some creative trimming to get the washers to a size that would allow them to get past the sink to mount the new faucet. We are very pleased with the quality of work as well as the expediency with which it took place. We will definitely use Atlantic Tile and Granite should we have future projects requiring their services!

Excellent. Punctual, all the pieces fit, and the fishished work was dramatic.

We were invited to go to their store where we picked out the piece of granite that we liked. Everyone was professional and we are very happy.

They arrived as scheduled and removed enough of the tile counter top to allow the making of the template for the new counter top. Most important thing here is that they didnt damage the travertine back splash. Interestingly, Altantic was the only quote that said they would try.. other quotes wouldn't even try for fear of breaking the back splash. Once the tile had been removed, we could then order the new counter top. This delay was due to the fact that if the travertine had been damaged we would have had to find a new back splash material, and match the counter to it. They came back as scheduled and removed the balance of the old counter top and installed the new quartz counter top in one day. They mounted the new 16 gage sink under the counter and installed a special strap set up to insure the sink didn't come loose from under the counter. The counter came in two pieces. The splice joint is virtually invisible. They color matched the glue with the counter top... The care they took, can be described as meticulous to the highest degree. We chose Atlantic because of the grades on Angies List. Of the three quotes we received, Atlantic was the ONLY one that supplied a written quote. Having to do it over again, I would have saved my valuable retirement time, and just worked with Atlantic. It is always refreshing to have someone quote a job, perform to the highest degree and meet schedule and cost commitments

We won't be using the Deal because there would be some extra work that I'm not ready for just yet. When he came he was very professional, honest, and very friendly. We will get a refund from Angie's List. I was surprised, however, that the service provider that offered the Big Deal was not a professional plumber and would need to bring one in, at my cost, to do the plumbing after the vanity was installed.

I saw the Big Deal on Angie's List and it was exactly what I was wanting to do so purchased right away. I called the same day. The owner answered the phone and was very positive. He brought out samples a couple of days later and looked at the job. I picked out a colonial gold granite that day because it looked nice with the light maple cabinet color. He said he would call when it was ready to be installed. The job got scheduled about a week and a half after that. It took two guys a couple hours to compete and it looks beautiful! I was very happy with the sink and countertop price, but I had to spend more money on a plumber to hook up the new sink and ended up purchasing a new faucet because the thickness of the new counter was different than the old one.

We bought an Angie's List "Deal" for the countertop. Tomas was easy to deal with, prompt, his crew were efficient and left the bathroom area clean & tidy. My wife, who is a perfectionist, trimmed up the transparent caulking a bit - but that was easy for her to do. I'd forgotten that the Angie's List deal was the pre-tax price, and that the existing countertop was wider than standard - so we had to pay a bit more than the listed price. It was still a great deal, and we'll probably be back (at full price) for the other bathroom. It looks great.

sI saw Atlantic Tile advertised in the Big Deal portion of Angie's list. I have been renovating a lower level bathroom and needed a counter top and vanity top. The deal was for 10 square feet of granite installed for a set fee. I called Tomas and he told me to come over to his showroom to choose a piece a granite. I arrived and Nick helped me to find the piece that would work best. The selection for this deal was limited, but I found a piece of travertine that was exactly what I wanted. The installation was a little more expensive because travertine is more difficult to work with. I also chose a square sink that increased the price a little, but overall it was a very reasonable deal. Our schedule was flexible, so we ended up with a installation date of about 2 weeks after we selected the travertine piece. Nick came out and made a pattern for the counter/vanity and told us what we needed to do to prepare for the installation. The total square feet came in at 10 so it qualified for the deal. The installers were friendly and did a great job. We couldn't be more pleased. We would recommend Atlantic to anyone interested in quality at a great price. Thanks to the whole crew!

Andre & Edward had to move my washer and dryer into the garage before they could even get started. The back splashed involved incorporating two different types of tile in a custom pattern. The diamond pattern involved cutting at least 50% of the tiles laid in each room. The result is STUNNING. All of the cut tiles are exactly matched on opposite sides of the rooms. These men are artists in tile.

Atlantic Tile did a great job!

Tomas Slivka, the owner of Atlantic Tile and Granite, came to our home, measured the bathroom countertop and showed us samples of granite. We chose one very similar to our kitchen granite, and about a week later the countertop was expertly installed! The two installers did an excellent job of removing the old countertop and backsplashes without damaging anything (not easy since everything had been glued in place). The new countertop was then installed and the backsplashes were custom cut to fit around an existing mirror. Everything was done with great care, and the finished product is outstanding. Thank you for such a great job!
