Atlantic Tile & Granite

The initial meeting was scheduled and Tomas arrived promptly with some samples of tile and granite. I chose from the samples but after a day of thought I decided I needed a better look. I called and went to where the granite was and chose a different color of granite. Then I went to the tile showroom so I could see larger tile squares and I did make a change for the tub surround. Tomas (General contractor) and Nick (granite)were very pleasant and accommodating. We scheduled for the job to begin a month after the purchase. They arrived promptly to begin the demolition. One person did all the tile work. It took him 2 1/2 days and he worked long hours. There was a slight hiccup because the accent tile had not been ordered until a couple of days before we began so the tile guy lost a half day before he could finish. That put the plumbers a day behind and the carpenter had to return in the evening of the last workday to install knobs on the cabinet and put the bathroom door back on. So there was the typical construction wait time but this was much less wait time than most construction projects. Tomas did a good job in scheduling to keep the flow of the work running relatively smoothly. All workers were very professional and cleaned up everything before they left. All in all, I was happy the quality of work and the end result.

I called Tomas on a Monday. He met me at my house the next day and provided an estimate and we reviewed granite and sink options. He had a person from his team take measurements the next day. We had a few calls and traded emails and scheduled the installation for the following week. The process was very easy and straight forward. The quote was spot on. Tomas and his team were very professional and responsive. I highly recommend their services for kitchen and bath work.

They did a great job! Everything was done as promised and done in a timely manner. I was so satisfied I had them back to remodel the main bathroom which went well as well. Very reasonable priced. It's like having a new house.

They were excellent. I was most impressed with them. They did templates ahead of time and everything fit perfectly upon installation. There is only one seam and it was matched perfectly.

Details: We bought the countertops via an Angie's List Deal (up to 50 sq.ft. of granite, demo, install, sink) for $2,299. This company was highly rated and we trusted Angie's List reviewers. The owner was prompt and courteous as we set up the work, and the guy who cam out to make the templates was professional, neat and quick. The one problem we encountered was that after install, we noticed that the cutout for the sink in the granite countertop didn't look correct and was slightly off. (If I could include photos, you'd be able to see the problem). I'm very fussy about things being properly aligned, so I immediately emailed Tomas, the owner. He replied within and hour and said that his crew would be out the next day to take a look at it. The same install crew came out the next day (nice, professional workers) and they removed the countertop (it was a large piece of granite on an island that included sink, dishwasher, etc.) and took it back to their shop to have it fixed. This was at 1 pm on a Friday. I was then shocked to learn that they wanted to bring it back and install it at 5 PM THE SAME DAY. Are you kidding me? Who provides this kind of service? They brought the countertop back through rush hour traffic on a Friday afternoon and installed it. It looks great. My wife and I could not be happier. The kitchen looks amazing and the countertops are a highlight. Many thanks to Atlantic Tile & Granite.

What a great team of people! I was totally impressed with the work Uri and Alex did in my kitchen and the professionalism and courtesy of Nicholas and Tomas. It's great to work with people who do what they say they will do and do it well and completely. What a great experience!

Installed went out of way to go with customer to get needed part for sink plumbing. Installation went smoothly,invisible seam.

Owner was very responsive and explained costs, limitations in detail. The job took longer than I recall the estimate but the two men who installed the counters worked hard and continuously until the job was done. They took care with my hardwood floors and cleaned up after themselves. I only have two concerns: 1) my doors were left open, one had a screen that was not used and 2) the quality of the sink (included in the Big Deal) is not what I hoped for. With respect to the first concern, I discussed this with the owner and he apologized, explaining that the odor from the glue was toxic and they needed to have fresh air for health reasons. He stated he would talk with his workers re the screen door. This was acceptable to me as I certainly do not want anyone's health compromised due to my neurosis over flies! Re the sink, perhaps stainless steel sinks are hard to keep clean...if so, I would not install one again. Overall, I was very pleased with their service.

Great service, very prompt and quick turn around time. Purchased an under counter sink along with counters and the guys did a great install, no complaints and only 1 seem in a huge C shaped counter! Great color choices too.

I am absolutely delighted with the professionalism and craftsmanship of everyone involved in this project. Due to my illness, we had to delay the project by several months, but Tomas (at Atlantic) was extraordinarily kind and patient. As soon as I recovered, he completed the work in only 10 days from the first consultation to completion. Actual installation was only three days. Tomas brought many samples of granite that were within the Angie's Deal price, and he also brought a sample that was more expensive. He gave me an opportunity to go to his shop to see that entire slab, and I decided that I wanted to pay a bit more for this beautiful piece of "natural art" -- but there was absolutely no pressure to make this upgrade. My kitchen is small and has a number of strange angles, so Tomas made templates to ensure that every piece of granite would be a perfect fit. When the tile was set for the kitchen backsplash, the attention to detail was painstaking, resulting in a beautifully finished job. In the bathrooms, they cut each of the 4" backsplashes from the same piece of granite as the vanity counter, so the pattern flows unbroken across the counter and up the backsplash. Beautiful work! I greatly appreciated that Tomas was respectful of my budget, and he gave me options to ensure that the cost of the project did not get out of hand. For example, he gave me the opportunity to engage my own plumber or to use the one he usually contracts. He had prices at hand, and was able to provide quotes so I could make an informed decision. (I chose to use his plumber, and Tomas made all the scheduling arrangements and handled all the billing, so it worked out very well.) I am very pleased with my decision to engage this company.

Keep in mind that they don't do the plumbing part. You'll have to have your own guy lined up for that, or if you ask them they know a couple of plumbers too.

They did a good job. Everything we asked them to do they go through with it. The only problem I had is they ran late about two hours. They showed up and they worked until late. They completed the job in one day, it was a big job. So, once they showed up, they just worked.

That was just A+. It was great. They were prompt and professional. I was really happy with the job that was done.

I got estimates from three different companies. I chose Atlantic Tile & Granite because they were by far the friendliest and their estimate was about half what the others were asking. Atlantic also did not charge for every little angle as the others did. I visited their place a few times and checked out different granites they had on hand. I love that they were so patient with my indecisiveness. Eventually they sent me to their supplier in Seattle (sort of a granite slab supermarket.) A few days later they sent someone out to measure my countertops. We set up an appointment for a week later for installation. The guys doing the installing were about an hour late but they were very nice and they removed my old countertop, installed the new one and replaced the sink in about 5 hours. I was a little worried (ok, a lot worried) about how it would look, considering how much cheaper they were than the others. However I was extremely pleased with the outcome. The pieces were matched up beautifully and it even took me a while to find the seams.

Very prompt in responding to my purchase. Kind sales people who did not try to up sell on the product I purchased. Prompt, polite and professional service. Neat and clean work. Limited product compared to a large granite company but that made it easier to make a decision. Very accommodating with changes in color/product close to installation date. Had all the work done in 2 days!

The install went pretty well. The existing counter tops were disassembled and removed upon arrival in the morning, The existing back splashes were removed and the cabinets were prepped and leveled. All the demolished material was immediately removed and the floors and surfaces where the work was performed was covered and protected. The new counter top granite slabs were then installed, cleaned and sealed. Clean up was accomplished and they were complete, including prep for the next phase within nine hours of arrival. The next day, the tile installer arrived, introduced himself, again covered floors and surfaces requiring protection. He then verified with us what we desired and expected and then began the install. The back splash(s) we choose were of natural stone. He first installed the stone, grouted the work, and sealed the stone. He was complete also within nine hours and completely cleaned up and departed with our great satisfaction of what was done... Our cost to the company cost for removal and install covered Granite Counter Tops and back splash only. The material for the back splash and completed sink installation was an additional $778.00. Total cost of project from start to finish $3831.00. This encompasses 50.25 sq ft of counter top and 41.5 sq ft of back splash.

I bought a big deal for them. They did a great job. The job went well. They were on time. They were very easy to work with and very helpful with suggestions. They did a real good job. Nothing is fallen off so far and everything seems to be fine. Their responsiveness was great. They responded to all the calls and called back when they said they would. They did fine.

We chose Atlantic Tile & Granite because of their high rating in Angie's list. And boy, did they live up to their Angie's list rating! They were absolutely great. Everything they did looks professional and terrific. They guided us through every step of the process. Their design suggestions were perfect. They showed up on time and were totally committed to making sure the project turned out well. We made a change during the job -- added additional lighting and other work -- and the additional price on top of their bid was totally reasonable. As an added bonus, Tomas was great to work with. They stuck to their schedule. They kept the job site as clean as possible and interrupted our daily life as little as possible. Would we hire them again? They are remodeling our second bathroom today.

I bought the quartz countertop deal on Angie's list. I was contacted very soon by one of the owners who arranged to come out and measure, bring samples and answer questions. The deal was for 50 sq ft of counter replacement, and he figured out that the back splash could be one inch higher to put my total measurements almost exactly at 50. He was trying to give me the most for my money. He made the template for the counter, gave me his number for further questions, & set up the date for installation. He and another guy installed on the date they had arranged, did a neat job, finished when they promised. I had an independent plumber install the faucet and he complimented me on the nice counters. I have enjoyed them.

We recently purchased a new home and discovered two of the seams in our Granit Countertops were uneven and the epoxy/joint material in between the slabs was failing. There was also a chip on the side of one of the seams. I looked for and read reviews regarding local granit companies. Atlantic had some very positive reviews. I called Tomas and he came to my home the next day to look at my granite. He told me what he could do to fix it and gave me an exact cost. I agreed and we scheduled the repairs for that coming Friday. An employee of Atlantic showed up on time and perfectly completed the repairs in a very timely fashion. My Granite Countertops now look great and they even gave me some tips on how to maintain and protect them. I would definatley use Atlantic again in the future and strongly recomend them to others.

It couldn't have gone better. Tomas was prompt in returning calls, the crew on both jobs was courteous and hardworking, and the quality is great. I'm very pleased. At all times they kept me apprised of issues/options and handled anything unexpected with grace. I'd gladly have them back for more work when the time comes.

We were contacted right away and Nick came out to measure and estimate. Two weeks to the day, after they came out and did the measuring/estimating, the team arrived to install the counters. The team was very professional and courteous. Installation took most of the day (roughly 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM), with the plumber showing up in the early afternoon to hook up the new sink, faucet, etc. They did a great job of cleaning up as they worked. The finished product is beautiful. A perfect installation that fits exactly as promised, and we are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship, materials, and the service we received from Atlantic Tile & Granite.
