Atlantic Tile & Granite

They were very punctual and when they arrived they started working right away. It took them about 3 hrs to do all the work and after they were done, they cleaned up everything. During the entire process they make sure that they were meeting my expectations by showing me the process and answering all my questions.

It has been a pleasant experience working with this company. The quote provided was straightforward and I went back and forth with them on changes in material. We went to their showroom twice to pick out the granite and are happy with the selection. They are easy to work with and accommodating. On the day of the counter install, our appt was for 8:30am and installers arrived at 9:30am. The work was done well and counters look great. The next day the tile installer came to cut and install tile. He was prompt and professional. He wanted to make sure everything looked right and fixed the few areas I pointed out. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

We have used them four times. The people are absolutely phenomenal and they have done an absolutely beautiful job. Atlantic is the best company. We are still using them for another project. This has been over the last couple of weeks. The one thing that you have to get use to is they are Ukrainians and are a little hard to understand, but they really know their business. It took four guys to haul in 1,000 lb slabs of granite it was absolutely phenomenal. They are always well below the competition.

The work ethic of the men from Atlantic Tile and Granite was excellent, from the measuring to the installation and working with the plumber who installed the sink and garbage disposal. The area they worked in was narrow but there was great care to detail and not marring any other surfaces. The men were tidy, respectful of my home and careful to do a perfect job.

This was the second time we had the company out for service. They did our kitchen before, it was fantastic. They were punctual, professional and polite. The second visit was just as great. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful. We would highly recommend.

Nick did estimate, was our sales person/contact. Installation went very well and we are extremely pleased with the job. The granite is beautiful.

We are very happy with the service we received from Atlantic Tile & Granite. Nick was extremely helpful and went way above and beyond to make sure we got the best quality service. We had a project that we needed to get done pretty quickly and he was very accommodating to our schedule. When it turned out the cabinets were not ready in time for our measurements appointment, Nick committed to showing up late in the evening the next day to get the measurements completed in time. Still, he did not compromise on the quality of the job and stayed until making sure all the measurements were correct and all the details were ironed out. In addition to this, before leaving that night, he offered to help my husband move one of the cabinets into place! In addition to his help with the purchasing, scheduling and measurements, he also helped us when we could not find a prep sink for our island. He ordered us a very nice sink for only $89! Talk about great service, these guys are awesome!

Tomas was very easy to work with. He would quickly return calls and worked with me in keeping the price down. There were no surprises with the final cost. He has talented people working for him who were on time and cared about their work. I am a picky perfectionist, and all of his subs completed the job to my satisfaction. If something needed a touch up or an adjustment, they did it cheerfully. All in all, this was the best experience I have had with a contractor.

The installation process was very smooth, and the installers made sure that we were satisfied with all aspects of the installation. Atlantic Tile and Granite made the entire process easy.

I have had difficulty even getting return calls from other contractors, probably due to the relatively small size of this job. Nick responded to my first email, met me the same day, and had my job written up and completely scheduled that day. It took 4 appointments (1 to install the cabinet, 2 measure for the counter, 3 install counter and sink, 4 install faucet and connect to plumbing). It sounded like a lot, but he was actually able to work ahead of the schedule, and his guys always arrived when he said they would and accomplished everything they came to do. Of the several emails we exchanged during the process, Nick always responded quickly. I got great service, a gorgeous product, and a fair price. I am completely satisfied and would go back to these guys in a minute!

Prompt, professional, and on budget. They worked with us to arrive at a very good solution for detailing and seaming that responded to our specific kitchen layout.

They were very pro-active from the start in setting up the consultation appointment. It took less than two weeks for them to cut/fit the new granite and schedule an installation date. They were punctual and professional. And they were very good about managing expectations around pricing, delivery, etc. They are very skilled at installing counters, and tiling.

Thomas was on time and professional and his bid was the lowest we received. He made it easier as he brought stone samples with him and also offered sink options right on his web site so it is easy to pick what you want. The stone choices were probably middle to low grade and I believe we would have had 2 seems in our counter (we have a U-shaped counter) as the price he quoted could not possibly have covered purchasing 2 full slabs of granite. If we were selling a house that was $350k or lower, we would have definitely used Atlantic but the house we are upgrading for sale is about 3x that price and we need top end stone.

They were outstanding. Tomas Slivak, who is the head contractor, was excellent. He couldn?t h ave been more polite, he kept me apprized of everything going on. He was here often to supervise the workers. He did everything you could ask a person to do under those circumstances and was amazing to work with. I couldn?t be happier with the work that was done, and how nice the bathroom looks. A couple of weeks after the project was completed, I noticed some water leaking in our basement. I hired a specialist to come check it out and he had his plumber come over to see where the issue was. We had the work done on the top floor of the home, and the leak was underneath the kitchen, right below the master bathroom that we had remodeled. The plumber found no issue with the kitchen, so he suggested I call Atlantic Tile & Granite to fix the issue because they have a warranty on their work. Tomas came over that evening, after I got home from dinner. The plumber suggested we open up on the kitchen ceiling beneath the tile to find the problem, but Tomas went outside of the house and removed some siding and found the issue. It had nothing to do with his work, and he would not let me pay him for coming back out. I could not ask for a more professional individual.

Got quotes from 3 vendors. chose this Atlantic because of what he had in the way of granite. I would recommend this company to all. Nick worked with me as to what I wanted. installation came on the 719 earlier then quoted. Installers were great--friendly/ cleaned up/and great to have them. I can not write enough about the great service received.

It went very well. They installed on Friday. Two drawers did not work and they were back first thing Monday to fix them. What I liked was they made things right when there was an error in their work. I love Atlantic Tile and Angie's List.

We contacted Atlantic Tile and Granite after seeing them present a Big Deal on Angie's List. I called them because I didn't need exactly what was described on the Deal. We are upgrading our home and needed new surface material on our vanities. Tomas said they would work with us for what we needed. We set an appointment and Nicholas came out promptly, measured everything, consulted with us, gave us samples to choose from and a cost estimate for the work to be done. he also invited us to their shop to look at large pieces. We did this and it helped us to make our final decision. Alex and Uri came to do the installation and did a superb job! The whole experience with Atlantic Tile and Granite was excellent! They were all very friendly, patient with us as we labored to make our decisions, guided us at each step along the way, and their craftsmanship is superb. The pricing is very good, as well. They beat the big box store competition and the small dealers, by far. they seem to keep their overhead low, but their work is of the highest quality. We are grateful to have worked with them and plan to hire them in the near future for shower tear out and re-do. We have a bid on that, as well.

The complete process involved two visits by the estimator to our home, one trip to their shop by us, which was our choice, and the final installation. Each visit was very efficient and friendly. The estimator was prepared and very efficient when making the templates which took about 45 minutes. The two installers completed the job in about 4 hours. They were very careful and tidy in their work. The job included the demolition and removal of the old counters and sinks. The quoted price included a new stainless steel sink in the kitchen and a new ceramic bathroom sink which the installers put in place. We did all our own plumbing, disconnecting the old faucets and drains and then installing the new ones, which was not included in the quoted price. We are delighted with our beautiful new granite counters!

.Initially we looked up granite counter tops on Angie's List & found Atlantic Tile & Granite. They had a special & their reviews were outstanding. I called & talked to Tomas, in fact I called him many times after that first contact with many questions. We made an appointment & Nick came to our home & measured & made a template. He also brought granite samples although we had pretty much decided on a specific color. We received an estimate by email & then called & told Tomas that we would like to go ahead with the order. On July 9, 2013 Alex, & two men named Yuri arrived. They demolished our old counters & installed the beautiful granite counters with back splashes. The plumbing holes were drilled & the protective sealer was applied. They old us that the plumbers would be out the same day around 5pm. I was very impressed as we were told that the plumbing would not be completed until the next day. They also said that they would need to come back later to install the back splash behind the sink as we had wanted a higher back splash for that area. In the early evening Peter & Paul arrived to do the plumbing & we were told that we would be able to use the sink the next day. We received a call from Nick asking if Alex & the two Yuri's could return around 8:30 that night to finish & my husband told him that they could come the next day. On the 10th the men returned to place the back splash, & apply the sealer. We are very happy with with the work that was done & the beautiful granite adds so much to our kitchen.

The "Big Deal" was very inviting. The company advertised $10K of work and material for $5,499. We still had to pay over $3,5,00 more for additions and upgrades. The company thought it would take a week to remodel the bathroom and in fact it took almost 4 weeks. We had to pay an outside electrician to move wires and light switch when the estimator said they could install a pocket door. That was almost a deal breaker. The plumbing subcontractors were very good and fast. Even if they didn't fully flush the water line and the first shower caused the $220. mixing valve to not fully shut off. The tile subcontractor was pretty good, if slow. He was unaware of the requested shampoos shelf and the little quarter step we asked for at the first walk through with the estimator. They tried to charges us more for the extra time. The first vanity delivered was wrong. Color and style. Second vanity was right color but six inches smaller than the old one and with very small drawers. The tile did not match the picture we saw in their brochure very well. We got credit for a big mirror we did not want and the subcontractor did install a recessed medicine cabinet as a substitute and charged us $99. to install a second one. The granite selection for the bathroom counter was very limited unless we wanted to pay more. The back splash on one side could not be installed because the GFI bathroom outlet would have been half covered up. I took the time to change the single outlet to a double, patched and finished the drywall. I had to move the old bathroom light fixture nine inches left to center it over the new sink. I finished gluing and sealing the back splash per my agreement with the granite installers. The plumbers came back and installed the double shower heads and control valves for the shower, installed the sink faucet and sink plumbing for the $900 if new fixtures we had to buy. Yes, we upgraded to more commercial grade then then general Moen fixtures you buy at the box stores. Would I use this company again? No. Would I recommend them? Yes. The company is solid and has good intentions. The subcontractors were good. There office was over 50 miles from our house. Sometimes they didn't leave until after 7:00 pm. and they worked a couple of Saturdays. If I ever do this again, I will have photos of everything before any work begins. I recommend seeing four tiles as a sample, not one. We should have driven the 50 miles to their showroom and not tried to rely on the estimators e-mail pictures. I would recommend getting at least the same size vanity, never a smaller one. I recommend taking the time to hand draw out exactly what you have in mind for the remodel and making two copies. Always-Always expect to pay more then the estimate. Our real cost was over $10K for a little bathrooms remodel. Mike and Betty Smith
