Description of Work: Our propane fireplace was failing to light when I used either the onboard switches or the thermostat.

Description of Work: I needed a repair on my propane fireplace in my home this winter. They came out, found the broken part, and promptly ordered it. A few weeks later, they brought the part onsite and repaired the heater. I was delighted, and paid the $575 fee (including extra to travel to my remote house). But then two days later the heater would not start. It would intermittently work, then nothing for days on end. I called them back, and in three weeks they arrived to inspect the heater. That day, the heater was working when they were here, but quickly failed when they left, and has not worked reliably since. They charged me another $215 for the visit. I would expect a good technician to diagnose the bad part they installed the first time, but I see no evidence he checked. Now I have to search for another fireplace repair place.
