All City Garage Door

It went Excellent! I had originally gone with a company local to me and they overcharged and repair was not done correctly. Chris promptly returned my calls and scheduled my garage for repair. Daniel (I think) came and serviced my door. Price was more than reasonable, I will call on them for all of my garage door needs. I was very impressed. LT

Not good. I would say shame on this company for not being willing to try to accommodate someone with a disability. The president, Chris, snapped at me and said he could not deal with this as I was asking questions to see if the installers could accommodate my health issues. All I was doing asking questions. I am sensitive to chemicals commonly found in scented laundry products. I realize this is something many people are not familiar with but it is an ADA recognized disability. Please vote with your dollar and choose another company for your garage door needs.

Outstanding Contractor. Have used them since September of 2000. Very professional and always high quality work. Very difficult to please my wife. They achieved this today. The door they installed back in 2000 finally needed the spring replaced (spring lasted 17 years, amazing). I was not able to be home. They communicated with my wife and everything went smooth. Like I said, pure outstanding customer service at an excellent price.

Once scheduled (Note my garage door died during the weekend) everything went well. Daniel was punctual and did a great job. I would definitely recommend All City and especially Daniel's service. He adjusted all elements of the garage door operation after the spring system was installed (about 1.5 hours to complete). The garage door operation is smooth as silk (definitely better balance than before). And I was appreciative that I paid less than the quoted price.

Both springs on my daughter's garage door suddenly broke. Dave was sent to fix. He was prompt, efficient, pleasant and very knowledgeable. After replacing the springs he adjusted all the settings on both the door and the opener and lubricated all moving parts. It now works better than ever.

Daniel was punctual and did a great job. I would reccomend All City and especially Daniel Great service. I paid less than the quoted price.

Happy with the installation. I only graded them a B on professionalism because the installer repeatedly made these disgusted sigh-type sounds. He worked fast and it was late in the afternoon, so perhaps it had been a long hard day. Then after he concluded, he shared some personal info, which I was fine with. But then he expressed a political opinion, which I thought was uncalled for. I would not let these minor issues keep me from using this service provider again, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

They were on time, did a thorough job - even tuned up the door before they left. It works as good as new - even quieter. I'd definitely use them again.

All City Garage Door responded to my Email promptly and sent a technician who provided me with a very good estimate. We set a date for installation approximately 3 weeks later. The installation technician, Bill, showed up on time and had everything completed and cleaned up by early afternoon. This included removal of the 2 old wooden garage doors and hardware. I was impressed with the quality of his work. The new garage doors look beautiful and the openers are very quiet. I would recommend All City Garage Door to anyone.

They did a very good job of removing old garage door, and replacing them with new ones. They came out and did an estimate, and were very helpful in helping us choose which doors to purchase. The arrived on time, did the work on time, and we are happy with the result. We would recommend them to family and friends.

I can't say enough good things about this company. When I didn't hear anything from the service man after my one hour window had expired, I called to find out what had happened. Chris got on the phone and told me he would call right back. He did, and explained that they "screwed up" and would have a person at my house in 40 minutes. He also said that he would give me a nice discount on the price of repair as a result of my inconvenience. The service tech was very knowledgeable and professional and got my door back in operation in about 30-40 minutes. I am extremely happy with the job and the company and would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are awesome. Obviously they know their stuff, didn't need to come out and give any kind of estimate or sales pitch, got price quoted over the phone. Installer showed up on time, was friendly courrtious and appears did some maint work on doors no extra charge. Ended up buying a couple extra things, priced very reasonably. Great experience, would use them again. Therse guys were suggested by a friend after having a very bad experience with a valpac ad for garage door installation. A+

All City Doors did a great job. I called this morning and was given an appointment on the same day. John, the service technician, called to let me know he could come early and he wanted to be sure this was okay. John arrived early, he did a terrific job and was completely done in a very short period of time. I am very happy with the service and the outcome.

Garage door got stuck open due to bad prior install of the chain track. I had to partially disassemble the opener to get it closed again. Called All City the next morning, and they had someone out within an hour to look at it. One hour and just over $100 later, the opener is working perfectly, is much quieter than before, and the track is properly installed now. This is honestly one of the fastest and best repair calls I've ever had done - thank you so much. :)

Garage door opener failed. I found All-City Door on Angie's List and called them. Several years ago, the other opener failed and we had a 3/4 HP 'top-of-the-line' LiftMaster opener installed by another outfit. When I asked about replacing our failed unit with the 3/4 HP unit, the All-City customer service person recommended a lesser unit because "most residential garage doors don't need that much power" to operate them. I was impressed that they are conscientious enough to recommend an appropriate product even though it's not the most expensive. Installer (Bill) was very prompt -- apologized for arriving early! Installation was done professionally and quickly. Bill answered my questions about the new opener and made some adjustments on the existing opener as well. We are very impressed with the product and the service.

He was okay. I ended up spending a little bit more than what I expected. They told me that it would cost $89 and I ended up paying $211 which wasn’t too terribly bad. Basically I wish he had told me sooner that it would cost me more and he ended up doing much more than what they were supposed to do. I would have got some more deals from the others before I could hire them. They did much more than what they were supposed to do. I went ahead with him because he was responsible enough to give me the information that I needed and as long as he had the job done for me; that’s why I went with him. I also needed the job done. I just called him basically because he gave me the estimate for $89. I figured that it was a really good estimate for what had to be done. I didn’t really think anything else had to be done apart from oiling and stuff like that. He came later and said he had to remove some things which I didn’t understand. Anyway he had to do all that stuff. So since I hired him I asked him to complete all the work that was required. That’s why he charged me $211. He recommended that I buy a new door. I told him that I would do that may be another time because I’m not interested in doing it right now. Eventually I’m going to do that and I don’t know if I’m going to go ahead and do it with him. I don’t like it when people give me one price initially and then later come up with a new price. I don’t like to be surprised. I would get two or three estimates from other people before I use him again. I need to know what other people charge for the same job to be done. I don’t know if I would use his services again in the future.
