Great! The crew was super efficient, and quite quick. I've had this company build on another property a few years ago, and they were just as good. Best of all: When adjustments needed to be made with normal shifting and weathering, Duke was quick to respond and put things in order at no cost. They stand by their work.

It went well. They gave a flat rate which is was cheapest of all the others we had gotten and they showed up on time, did a neat job and cleaned up after them.

Very fast contact, and completion service. Also reasonable price.

They did the work while we were away for a few days. Came back and the fence looked great.

Alki sent someone out to take measurements in order to provide an estimate. Weeks later--and despite calling numerous times to remind them to send the estimate--I still haven't received anything. Very unprofessional.

Seemed very personable when doing on site assessment. Was to have estimate the following day. Have never heard back. I called and emailed asking for the estimate on more than one occasion.

We called Alki Fence Co. (along with 2 other firms) to receive a bid for a new fence. They are busy (like everyone else right now), so we had to wait one week before they could schedule an estimate. I had to take time off work to be at home during the time they were available. The day/time for the estimate came and went, but Alki Fence Co never showed up. I waited an hour before giving up and going back to work. I don't appreciate having my time wasted. If you value your time, I do not recommend calling Alki Fence Co.

The estimator never showed at the appointed time. When I called after the agreed upon window (after taking off several hours of work to be on time), I was told the estimator "tried to call me." I had no missed calls and had my phone on me the whole time. They asked to reschedule after the fact but I can't miss work for a no-show again. Definitely would not hire or recommend.

It went well. We had to wait our turn but it wasn't a problem. A previous company who installed the fence had allowed water to drain into the cement footings allowing rot to set it prematurely so Alki had to redo that work also.

From start to finish the project went extremely smooth! Duke and his guys were great to work with. Duke came out and provided an estimate within 2 business days and had me on the schedule the following week. They stated at the beginning of the project that it would take 3 days. The job entailed tearing out an existing 200' of fence and replacing it with a new 6' high cedar fence. Day 1 they had the existing fence completely ripped out and new posts set in concrete. Day 2 they came out with 4 guys and hauled away the old fence and had the new fence completely finished by 3pm. Alki fence did an incredible job! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace or get a new fence. Thank you Duke and crew!!!

I met with them in December, to review what I needed done and request a quote. I still haven't gotten a quote. I sent a reminder in late January and I still haven't received a quote.

Quick, efficient and executed the job as agreed.

Clean and efficient. Work was completed in 2 days. Had owner return to fix a small thin strip and add handle. Pleased and had compliments from neighbors.

A crew of two men and Luke arrived at 8:30am as I was leaving for work and when I came by at 1pm, the dog yard was almost completely finished! By 4pm, when I came home from work, the entire framing for the front fence was completed and the next day (SATURDAY) the men returned and completed the project! Fabulous! I love my new fence. I love the hardware on the gates. It is exactly what I wanted. The first week after the installation, the wood on the front gate swelled from rain and the gate was hard to open and I texted Luke and he was here that afternoon and sanded and corrected the problem. I did see before I hired Alki that some people felt their calls were not returned as facst as they would have liked but, this company is worth the wait.

Very well. Workers showed up at agreed-upon time, finished the job in the time promised, and even made unplanned repairs to underground sprinkler lines that were "discovered" during the fence installation.

Very well. The work was completed as promised. They showed up when they said the would, completed removal of the old fence, installed the new fence, and cleaned up the mess. The were friendly and proficient.

They did a great job once the work started - great quality, price and speed. The only issue, like many have said, is the bid process and responsiveness. Still, it's worth it - so keep on them - they do great work.

It took 3 days for the demo of our old fence and building of new fence. Overall, several sections of the fence are fairly wobbly. We have discovered that several of the boards were not nailed at the bottom. One gate is over 6 feet (I'm 5'7" and can't reach over it) and the other is only 5 1/2 feet (I can look over it). They made the choice to match the lower fence line rather than adhere to the 6 foot height all around, like our previous fence. A latch pull on one of the gates wasn't spaced right and the gate didn't always latch. We had to reinstall it. We also found cigarette butts and cut post pieces along the fence line. Someone wrote a name, in pencil, on our deck. Overall, I was not happy with the finished product. It's a fence, just not a great fence. I selected Alki based on good reviews and good price but would not hire them again.

Some work was done, but never completed. Communication with Duke was a nightmare. He came to our house unannounced one day to see what needed to be done to complete the job (his crew partially finished the job and wanted to return to consult before completing the project). Duke told me he would send a new proposal but never did so even after multiple follow-up emails and calls. Instead I received an invoice from Alki, which I'm holding til this day since work hasn't been completed.

Duke kept in contact with my husband throughout the whole job and we felt that he and the crew did a great job! The fence looks great, the gates open like butter, and no mess left behind! We would recommend them!

I called left a message, it's been a week and still no call back.

Terrible communications, no follow through. I lest several texts, called numerous times. No response.
