Description of Work: We wanted our old fence replaced. I sent an email through Angies List and left messages at the phone number listed. This company never responded. Other reviewers said the same thing but I tried anyway. We called another company and they responded. Don't waste your time calling this company.

Description of Work: Estimator came out and said that he would get me an estimate in a few days. I didn't hear back for a week so I called him and left a voicemail. Still no reply a month later.

Description of Work: Duke came by more than a week ago and assured me that the estimate would be provided within 24 hours. No estimate and no response to email and phones messages. Very disappointed that I have previously done business with Alki Fence before. Business was previously conducted by the father and there clearly is a change in customer service. No problem- I will work with another company who keeps their word and understands that all customers have options!

Description of Work: Duke replied to my request for quote and we were able to set up a time for an in-person meeting to explain the work to be performed. He was professional and provided us a quote for the work in just minutes. We haven't selected a company yet, but Alki Fence is number one on the list.

Description of Work: They redid almost all our fence in the backyard. They were able to match the new fence to the good piece that were still good. They were very efficient.

Description of Work: He came out to quote my property for a completion of a chain link fence. He was late for his appointment and expected me too wait around, and when he offered the quote was crazily expensive. I've been shopping around and of the ten other vendors he is double their price.

Description of Work: Bizarre. I called and asked for a quote. They apparently came to my house (called me while they were looking at the fence) but they never gave me a quote or called me.

Description of Work: The provider came to do an estimate and said that in a week he would get back to me. He never did despite the fact I called him to remind him.

Description of Work: They tore down our back fence, replaced it with a new one, including a 'man' door as well as the two gate car opening.

Description of Work: The quote was competitive, they showed up on time, and performed the work according to schedule. Quality is good. Couldn't ask for more.

Description of Work: Called Alki and had a nice conversation with Duke. He made an appointment to come out and provide a project quote... never heard from him. I get it that fence builders are busy at the moment but at least let me know if you're too busy to provide a quote. Unprofessional.

Description of Work: I needed a side fence in my backyard replaced as the wood had rotted at the bottom and my dog was able to go the neighbors yard. We setup an appointment for an estimate and a couple days later right before the appointment, we received a call that they could not come out that day. It was a little frustrating as I took off early from work to meet him. We agreed on the following day and he showed up about 15 min early and apologized profusely for the day before. The estimate took only a few minutes and he was on his way. I scheduled them for the following week and they delivered! 56' Feet of old side fence, removed, new posts and concrete added and replacement of my side gate. They completed all of this within 5 1/2 hours! They were great and very polite. | |A few days later the original quote guy came out and made sure everything was great. With the exception of the first meeting, they were very good, efficient, nice, and followed through flawlessly. | |I will hire them again to do the rest of my fence when the time comes.
