We were impressed with the professionalism and service provided by Joe B. He was accompanied by a trainee named Matt, who also was very professional in his approach. Given that we have a fairly old furnace, they were honest and told us that the unit was currently in good working order and should serve us for another winter. They also gave us information about newer furnaces, so in the future, if needed, we would be knowledgeable about our options. All in all, the service call went very well and we were pleased. In the future, we will use them again.

We woke up to a cold house on the 15th. I found AAA Heating and Air Conditioning on Angie's List and called them because they had an "A" rating. A tech, Paul, was at my house by 10:30 that morning. At first it was believed that a circuit board was bad on the heat pump. Paul switched the heating to the gas furnace so we would have heat. He was back the next day with the part. after installing the circuit board the system was still not working properly. Upon further investigation it was determined that the compressor was not working. This was the second compressor in ten years that has failed on the Bryant heat pump. Paul explained my options on fixing the system. On Monday Matt met me at my house to go over my options. After making my decision I was told by Matt that it would take one day to do the job. When the crew showed up the next day at 8:30 am to start the install, I was told that it would take a day and a half to complete the job. I explained that I had an appointment in Poulsbo the next morning I was told that they would do their best to complete the job in one day. They brought in a third tech to help out. The crew was very professional and polite. They worked their butts off. I don't think that they took lunch or breaks. I was very impressed with their work ethic. They stayed till 6:30 pm to make sure the job was completed. I would highly recommend AAA to anyone needing repair or replacement of their heating or air conditioning systems.

They arrived on time and completed the work quickly and satisfactorily. I was originally quoted $650 for 1/2 day job, but the job actually took about 1 hour and I had to have them call the main office as I thought $650 was too much for the actual time. They lowered the cost to $450 which I still think was too high.

They put my unit in new many years ago. They are very professional and the people who are working on it are very experienced. They know what they are doing. The system they put in has been functioning really well. They could have done a little more with the upstairs and downstairs which is sometimes a little off with the heating.

Every thing was explained. It was a simple tune-up. We also signed up for the 2 yr. maintenance plan which is why the "cost of svc" is higher. Without the plan, I believe it was about 170. Ron was very friendly, professional and took the fear out of a once again new experience. I recommend this co.

AAA did a great job.Lent us a portable heater, and replaced our furnace when they said they would for the quoted price. Installer gave us a complete run down on operation, and we have heat again!

Ron was a delight to work with and was very professional and personable. He did the work, explained why it had happened (I need to maintain my heating system better....my fault), and made me feel that the company was dedicated to providing excellent service to their customers. It was a small job, but he took time with me and everything ended well. He also explained their maintenance program which we will now take advantage of. I highly recommend AAA Heating and Air Conditioning and Ron Root is the best!

Our first experience with AAA was over the Christmas holidays a few years ago, when our furnace went out. Although they couldn't come out right away, they walked us through how to troubleshoot our issue, told us how to remedy it, and gave us the option of coming out to do the work themselves, or helping us do the work ourselves by phone. They were extremely helpful and informative, and instead of coming down over the holidays and charging us a bunch of money, they spent a bunch of time with us on the phone, for free, de-mystifying our heating system. Since then we've had them come out for annual tune-ups, and they've always been clear about where our heating/AC could use improvement, what's really worth tending to immediately, and what can likely wait. We'd definitely recommend them.

They set us up for automatic check ups. They eneded up waiving the initial fee. They really went above and beyond. It is one of our rentals and I had to communicate with them over the phone. They were very responsive and communicated well.

Very helpful, from the first phone call, to the guys who came out and evaluated my house and bid on the job, and then the installer. Good price based on my budget and needs. Had a couple other quotes to compare and this seemed very fair and reasonable. I also felt like I could trust their advice and they were not attempting to sell me more than I could afford.

The service was great! The repair guy was a little late (about 30 minutes) which was fine considering the great service. I am new to this house and didn't know a lot of the questions he asked me. When I told him I didn't know, he wasn't stumped at all. He taught me about the whole system: how old it was, the efficiency rating, what works, what doesn't. He was very polite and friendly. What was about a 2 hour maintenance call, ended to be up almost 5 hours (which I completely understood why he was late). He went above and beyond cleaning and maintaining the system. He noticed some off balance noise from the blower and set my expectations as to what it could be and how if he cleaned it up and changed a possibly faulty capacitor that I would get more air flow and less dust. Sure enough he was right! The capacitor was putting out half of what it should have been and the blower was in dire need of cleaning. Throughout the entire house call, he set the expectations up right and there were no cost surprises. I ended up signing up for a year service which brought the maintenance cost down.

Technician was professional and knowledgeable. He was very thorough in cleaning and doing the safety check on the furnace. We will use them again in the future.

I had forgotten about pre-paying for this service in the Fall and got a nice voice and email reminder that I needed to schedule this service to be performed at no additional charge. The technician was kind, courteous and very thorough. I would definately recommend them to anyone!

RESULTS: I received a bid for $6800/$7300 (without heat pump/with heat pump). This bid for service, was over $2,500 MORE than 2 other competing bids which have been received. Since which, I have already received a fixed bid commitment and the work has begun for $4,500 (excluding tax), which fits well within my estimates. There was a firm push for installation of a heat-pump also, which is not necessary for my installation given that I already have a high efficiency furnace and I don't require one for my usage . I did not factor in HVAC discounts received by the firm, to purchase the materials. My material costs were based on HVAC retail costs researched online. EXPLANATION: - "There is a lot of hard work involved", when I asked - will it take 6-7 days, the response was "Absolutely not, this is only a 2 day job" - "Its' complicated", by which the estimator provided a laminate copy of a poorly drawn engineering diagram. - The technician was very professional, on time, and courteous. However, based on the high estimate I politely declined and informed them that I would be getting additional bids for the service. FEELING: - Had I not done my research, I would not have known better. I would have been taken advantage of and spent $2,500 more than I should have to have EQUAL service and materials installed to code. - My $2500 variant, still factors in a healthy margin and operating expenses to cover the costs of labor, insurance, materials, vehicles, etc. - I will not recommend AAA ever, as I feel that their pricing model and approach either lacks integrity or their cost structure is unique to others within the same business area. AAA heating installed a heat pump. They were on time for the Monday estimate appointment and did a thorough job of evaluating and measuring my home to determine the appropriate size of the system. They were here for over two hours. They asked lots of questions regarding what exctly I was looking to achieve. I had some specific requirements, and they were the only company to fully understand what I was trying to accomplish. They provided their business and trade license numbers, along with a written certificate of liability insurance. After checking their licenses and getting three estimates, I decided to hire AAA. They arrived on Thursday, permits in hand, to begin the work. They always arrived on time, or called ahead if they thought they might be a bit delayed by traffic. I appreciated the great communication. The workers never got further than the front door without putting on booties. They moved heavy furniture in both the living room and bedroom, including a very large bookcase, which they even unloaded and reloaded for me. They had vacuumed the floor behind the furniture before I even got my vacuum out of the closet. The electrician worked until after 8:00 pm in order to finish his part of the job for the crew coming the next day. He had to cut out part of the wall to install a new breaker in this very old house. When the installers returned the next day, I asked what I would need to do to repair the wall. They said they would take care of it, and they did. The wall looks great. They coordinated with the Sesttle inspectors, both of whom were pleased by the job AAA had done. They repaired that wall in the laundry room and even washed the floor. Once the system was installed, they went over the manual with me and explained how the system works. They said to call with questions, but they did such a great job of explaining, that I haven't had to call. The job was completed by the following Tuesday. The system is much quieter than my old oil furnace, and will keep the house warm in the winter and cool in the summer. All the workers were polite, respectful, and very personable. I am so pleased with the work they did. Hire them!

He was phenomenal. He was sensitive to my feelings in why I was nervous about the pricing and services. They are above and beyond any company that I've used in the last 20 years. They have great ethics and integrity. They were extremely thorough and comprehensive with their work. They're so personable that they make you want to invite them over to dinner. I have already recommended them to several people.

AAA was able to quickly schedule and come out to provide and estimate for the electronic air filter/UV lights. Estimator was prompt and knowledgeable. Within several days of the visit, AAA delivered an email quote that I had requested. While this quote seemed a bit high, they quickly followed-up with a revised quote that made them competitive.

The technician was right on time and very efficient. He showed me the parts he thought needed cleaning and replacing as well as gave me options for price points. Aside from being faster and cheaper than I was anticipating he was very professional. I am definitely going to stick with them for all my furnace work in the future.
