Called to have this company do a price estimate for drywall. She told me to text her my phone number and we could set a a day that worked for both of us. A couple days later when she texted me in the late evening We decided on a day and time. Well nobody ever showed ever up on that day, and a couple hours later I get a phone call (I didn't answer) from some guy on the voicemail he stated that said this lady told him I need a price estimate and he wanted to know a time he could come out...what the heck? So this company called me again I decided ok 2nd chance but 15 mins before they are suppose to be here I get a text message saying she can't come out because she is sick. DONE WITH THEM. I know they have good reviews they just didn't work out for me. Hope the next people have better luck if you chose to go with them.

Stay & Dave came at the agreed date and time, fully loaded with all the materials and tools to complete the task in the 1 1/2 days it was agreed the project would take. The project was completed in the allotted time and more than exceeded our expectations. Bottom line is Stoya & Dave did a wonderful job as they said they would, on a extremely timely basis. I will call upon them in the future if I have a need.
Description of Work: The new Counter Depth GE Profile Refrigerator would not fit the the finished cutout because finished cutout sizes have changed, (increased) since the condo was completed in1999. We first called the the handyman we had worked wit throughout the condo renovation and we did not like his solution; frankly, when finished it would have looked very unfinished. When found through Angie's List; when contacted Stoya & Dave came to the condo. I provided them my proposed solution and they agreed that my way was the best solution and gave me a time and materials quote. Only one side of a completely finished wall on was required to have the new finished surface narrowed by 1/2" to enlarge the refrigerator opening from 35 5/8" to 36 1/8".

The work was done very well. They were very good about calling if they were going to be late. The stucco repair work was excellent and exterior painting was done afterwards. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

From the start of our job Stoya was professional, made excellent recommendations, showed up when she said she would and was a extremely diligent worker. She is a perfectionist and accomplished her tasks in a timely manner. She's understanding of the stress involved with remodeling and is a careful listener. The best contractor I have ever had in my home. I purchased some materials with her direction. She also had dead trees removed and hauled away all debris for $1800 which included seven cedars and one giant birch tree. Excellent company.
Description of Work: Paint walls, ceiling, doors, new screened porch, replace all door hardware, install utility sink and cabinet, install new back splash in bathroom and kitchen, had old trees removed, hung all new blinds, tile utility room floor, minor plumbing change of faucets.

I had an impossible time finding someone to do Stucco on Whidbey Island. Stoya gave me a competitive rate and did stucco outside and plaster inside our home. The final finish is excellent, very nice work. Her guys were so fast it impressed me. They did such a good job on the stucco/plaster that I had them help with the caulking and paint. The final paint is very good. To be fair there were a lot of sheet rock issues to deal with and many colors, and I'm satisfied with the finish. They was some difficulty to pin down dates but I had flexibility so not too much disruption to other trades. Stoya was very pleasant to work with, she did good work, and she took care of every detail I brought up. I will definitely use SPT LLC in future jobs.

Description of Work: I reached out to this company and scheduled an appointment for a day that I had taken off of work. I needed a small amount of drywall repair and I was on a time limit. The owner did not show up at the scheduled time. 30 minutes after the scheduled time, I called her twice to see where she was. The phone was off. I left a message the second time. Almost 30 minutes after that, I received a call back that she would not be able to make it that day, and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I did not reschedule because this was handled extremely inappropriately. Even a call one hour before the appointment to say she could not make it would have been more appreciated than the way it was handled. But really? Almost an hour afterward? And I had to call first?! So I had to rush to find someone else to complete the job, and thankfully I was able to in time.

Description of Work: Stoya and her employees completed two major jobs in preparing our home for the market. She repaired stucco cracks - large & small with great thoroughness. She painted our home and stayed with the task until it was completed to our satisfaction. She was helpful with valuable aesthetic suggestions. She directed her very capable staff in the repair of numerous faulty sized cement steps and then stained them to complement the home. Without any doubt, I would HIRE HER AGAIN as well as the cement repair staff she directed. She is professional, helpful, resourceful, knows what she can and can't do and provides prompt quality service! In addition, she responds very well to questions, suggestions, and took all concerns which I voiced with seriousness. Her prices were more than fair and she and her people worked very hard. They have earned an A+ in my book and I'm not especially easy to please. The cost stated above was for all jobs performed.

Those who know me well, know that I pay a full $1.00 for every $1.00 billed when I hire a contractor to do work that I either can?t do or choose not to do. In return, I expect to get $1.00 worth of production for each $1.00 I pay out. The owner/operator of SPT, LLC completed a 10? x 16? shop over the last couple weeks, providing drywall and all the taping/texturing to transform it from a 3-1/2 year old unfinished building into a ?doll house? as she so aptly described it. Stoya has a heart-of-gold---love for her profession, not greedy---when it comes to her choice of livelihood. Her mantra is delivering a successful product with a modest profit, necessary to pay the bills. Nobody gives much away free these days, regardless of what some vendors may tell you. Stoya told it straight from the beginning with no B.S. involved. The project started precisely on time and throughout the job, she maintained contact via text and email and an occasional phone call when necessary. She impressed us from the beginning as we came to an understanding of all jobs being ?about the details?. The materials were estimated correctly, delivered inside the shop with care, and measured/installed with the knowledge and experience of her many years in the trade. Mother Nature did not cooperate very well as our weather was rainy and cool during the drying requirements of our project but she is very knowledgeable of the various types of ?hot? mud and texturing used on today?s interiors and the result was a nice smooth finish. It was very important to her that she satisfy our vision of her finished product. We believe she did just that. We believed in her and she believed in us; that is what made the job successful. We trusted she would deliver the product we entered into contract with her for and, in return, she trusted that we would pay her for her work. Both sides were satisfied. She possesses the necessary element of a successful deal: she completes a contract where both parties feel they are treated fairly and with respect. We felt from our first meeting that she could complete the job on time and on budget; we were not disappointed. We would not hesitate to enter into contract with her again.

It was easy to get in touch with Stoya. She came out almost right away to give us a quote and work was started in short order. Stoya and David were fun to work with ? very kind people. I found them reliable and trustworthy and their work was great. The wall looks brand new and was ready within a couple of days.

This was another great experience from someone who was rated well on Angie's List. Thank you!
Description of Work: She was called to give us an estimate for fixing some cracks in the foundation/basement of our two level home. She informed us that these are not affecting the structure, that they were a result of normal settling and that we did not need to fill them except to make them look better if we wanted to sell the home. She charged us nothing for her time.

SPT is a woman-owned business, owned and operated by Stoyia Grieb. Stoyia and her installer showed up on schedule and provided a bid to perform work on our front porch columns and other minor work. When the work began, her installer worked consistently and without stopping. At first, I was not pleased with one of the colors, because the company that mixed it got it wrong. Stoyia ensured me that she would correct it and get the perfect match. When Stoyia returned with the matching color, she went over and above what we had contracted her to do. She went around the entire house and garage and made touch-up applications everywhere, including places that we had not even noticed. We are extremely pleased with the work that Styoia performed. She is very friendly and a and quot;people-pleaser.and quot; She goes out of her way to ensure that her clients are completely satisfied with the work. If you want true customer service from a company and staff with the highest work ethics and integrity - then hire SPT - you will not be disappointed!.

They are very professional. They didn't want to walk through the house to get to the deck, they walked around the backyard. They provided paperwork that they showed me before they even did an estimate. Their customer service is very good. I feel like the price is OK.

Called for a quote and they responded promptly. The bid was written, detailed and completely what we had talked about. They showed up exactly when they said they would and work quickly to get things done. Very polite, very professional!
Description of Work: Stoya and her talented sidekick did work throughout the house - remodeled an old kitchen, updated a bath, painted throughout and installed hardwood floors. Incredible work done quick. Would use SPT again and can recommend them to everyone.
