Description of Work: Smith Insulation is installing windows and insulation in the crawl space and attic. They also put down a new vapor barrier and sealed our ductwork.

+ -1 moreThey showed up promptly, and the workmanship was adequate. What I did notice however, is that unless someone was watching the workers directly, the progress slowed so much as to be imperceptible, requiring me or my assign to be present for the entire job. The workers were sent out with a faulty man-lift that due to its poor state of repair introduced further delays.
Description of Work: I hired them to insulate the ceiling of my shop. The workers installed over 4000 square feet of R-30 fiberglass batts into a ceiling that ranged from 16 to 24 feet in elevation. This was then suspended with poly string, and covered with a heavy vapor barrier membrane.

+ 0 moreSmith Insulation was awesome to work with from the estimate to actually doing the installation. Very pleasant and courteous in all interactions. They communicated when they would be there and were there on time. The person that did the installation was very nice and did an excellent job. Was very conscientious about not making a mess and cleaning up when finished. I received multiple bids and this was the lowest one. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs windows replaced or insulation added to their house.
Description of Work: I had Smith Insulation replace 15 old windows in my house upgrading them to new triple pane windows. They also drilled holes in the exterior walls to blow in insulation.
