I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. He came out the first time and suggested before he do any work to replace the filter to see if that fixed the problem. He didn't charge for me for that visit which I greatly appreciated. The filter didn't seem to do the trick so had him back out to take a look inside. He determined what part was needed and said he would look into if it was even still being produced. Took a bit to hear back from him but I figured must be because it wasn't available anymore. Which turned out to be the case.

Diagnosed it as on it's lasts legs, told me to not spend the money on repair as it would be half the cost of a new machine. Just run it till it drops.

Determined it would be better to be replaced.

Ryan is fantastic. I called him in December for my oven not working. He was honest and let me know putting money in repair was not worth it considering the cost vs replacing the unit. Mr. Appliance knows his business and is very responsive, professional, and punctual. The only reason for a "B" grade was because of cost. Although he quickly identified problem and did a good job, I probably won't use Mr. Appliance again. I thought the cost for this repair was a little high. Next time I will perform better due diligence when asking about cost, parts, etc. Parts cost ($150) was a little high (vendor uses OEM parts which usually is a little more spendy), but I thought the "other" cost of $180 was a bit much. The "other" cost did consist of two visits to my house: one to determine issue (about 20 min for entire visit) and one for the repair (another approx. 20 min visit). So $180 for an hour of work is too high. My refrigerator, though, works like a dream.

This was fast service and I will use again if I have other large appliances that need repair. Mrs. Appliance is also an outstanding customer service asset.

Placed my order as high priority when I informed them the refrigerator/freezer interior was noticeably warm and unit was running non-stop. The owner showed up on time, worked efficiently diagnosing and correcting the problem. He also offered a crucial owner maintenance tip to be followed to maximize the effectiveness of the repair.

The repairman, Ryan, arrived promptly for the appointment. He was able to quickly diagnose the problems in both our Whirlpool refrigerator and our Kitchenaid dryer. He repaired both in a short amount of time and gave me helpful hints on maintenance. He was polite and friendly. It was a very pleasant experience working with this company.

Very efficient and shared knowledge about our dishwasher and volunteered the proper use of our self-cleaning oven. NOTE: The date of service is approximate but it was earlier in 2014.

Determined that the cost was more than the value of replacing. Gave me recommendations on what brand to stay away from on new purchase. Appreciated his honesty.

Replaced solenoid since ice maker was stuck in crush mode. Also had a problem with my dishwasher not draining and they told me how to troubleshoot and fix it over the phone at no charge.

Very prompt. I called in the morning and he was here in the afternoon to fix my fridge.

Ryan called ahead every time so I would know when he was coming, He tried to fix my Washing Machine the cheapest way possible then he had to replace a hose...not his fault! He installed my dish washer exactly right!! I will call him anytime i need an appliance repair man! Very nice and professional Great Guy that Ryan!

My washer had been leaking off an on since being moved to allow for new floor tile to be laid last August. In March it became clear that the "little" leak from time to time had become a serious problem and I needed to get it fixed before returning to work. I was very happy to have the repairman come the very next day after my call and to get it repaired totally two days later. Repairman was very polite and efficient and didn't waste time getting things done. Two thumbs up for sure!~

My Heating element failed after the Vent became somewhat blocked at the top of the vent, which happens to come out at the roof of the house. They explained how the part may have failed.. ordered the part quickly and put the part in as expected and at the time they believed the part would be available. Great service and polite and friendly.

My washer starting making a terrible noise. We found good reviews on Angie's List and gave Mr. Appliance a call. Ryan answered and scheduled us for the next day. He called before coming and was very prompt. He listened to my problem and took one listen to the machine and told me the bad news. My transmission was dead. A new washer was needed. He then told me the pros and cons of top vs. front loaders. Made a few suggestions for each type and didn't try to push anything on me. When I went looking the next day, I felt very sure I would pick a good machine. I will definitely use and refer people to Mr. Appliance.

It went very smoothly. We called in the AM. He came by in the early afternoon. Problem was fixed within about 20 minutes.

Testing seemed accurate but conclusions were that it could be any one of three things. Costs were considered excessive in relation to new stove. Required second visit after suggesting method of operating. No action was taken.

r doI needed my dryer door fixed. I had purchased it at Home Depot and contacted them first, was referred to a complicated website , where if I could find the part, I could get directions to fix it myself. I am a Sr. citizen, widow and was overwhelmed by the website. I found Mr. Appliance' on Angie's List and could not be happier! I contacted them on their website, they called and came the same day. He was polite, and quick. He had helpful suggestions and Sr. citizen rates. This made my day!!! I would never call anyone else!
