This job was done in a very professional manner. One day to put in poles and dig the post holes one day to put up all the wood. They are in and they are out and they are very clean. I'm over 70 years old. TO have a job done and not get RIPPED-OFF in the process is very encouraging.

The initial contact with Chris went fine and I put a 50% deposit down on the job. Once it was time to do the job, the initial date was pushed back a week because of his schedule - which is fairly common these days. I was optimistic when the job began, but as in all things, the trick is in the execution. The sod only covered a portion of the yard (which was the plan), was badly transitioned to the old yard, and covered a number of sprinkler heads. When I asked the guys about finding broken sprinkler heads, I basically got a shrug of the shoulders. The additional shrubs they brought to fill in some flower beds were cheap and small - not at all what I thought I'd be getting. I contacted them the day after the job to talk about finishing the sod and uncovering sprinkler heads and have yet to hear back. I think this boils down to a taking pride in their work issue. Every contractor in the Tri-Cities is so busy right now that standards have slipped across the board. I know A1 has a lot of good reviews on Angie's List and that's why I picked them. But the company that earned those reviews doesn't seem to exist anymore - either that or my job was so small that it didn't merit the level of service they've been known for. At no point did I think they cared about the outcome. They just wanted to get the job over so they could move on to the next one. I could have done what they did myself for 28 cents a square foot. I hired them because I wanted someone with experience to make sure the job was done right. That's not what happened. I would definitely never use them again.

Chris (owner) and Christopher (his son) are consummate professionals. We acquired four bids for this project and selected A-1 Landscaping, not because they were the lowest bid, but because of their responsiveness, flexibility, and professionalism. Chris was patient with us, helping us finalize a design for our project, providing great ideas and suggestions. Their work was of the highest quality and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend them for your landscaping needs. The next time I have a landscaping project, I will not waste my time soliciting multiple bids. I will call A-1 Landscaping.

The owner was very accommodating to us wanting to get it completed quickly. We had just moved in and needed the fence so our dogs could run without being constantly watched. He did a fantastic job with our new parking area.

My wife made a few changes which were handled by Chris and crew with as smile. The whole thing went very smoothly. We could not be happier.

It turned out even better than I thought. They were very easy to work with and interested in making me happy. They gave me my dream yard!

It has been going very well, Chris and his crew are very conscience, it won't be long before I'll be roasting marshmellows with the grandkids.The new landscape is exactly what was bid and I'm very satisfied.

Chris and his crew were very personable and took great pride in their worki. If I made any changes or additions there were no problem with doing it. They worked well with other venders that I had purchased items from and met their needs also. I would definately recommed this company to anyone who wants that once in a lifetime dream to come true because they definately did that for me and my family.

I chose not to go with A-I simply because I felt better informed by another contractor.

Chris returned phone calls rapidly. Met with us on time and gave us an estimate. He was lower than others and provided options for us. the final product was as just as we wanted.
