Everyone we encountered at 1st Choice was outstanding. They were quick to get to our house to look at the damage from a water leak. Once it was dried out and floors pick they quickly got it ordered and got to work on putting in new floors. Matt and his team went above and beyond on our project. The end result was better that I expected. Matt made sure we understood everything and took the time to explain everything that was going to be done and answered any questions we had. Can’t wait for the next project so we can have them come back. Hopefully not starting with a leak next time.

+ -1 moreThis is the most disappointing company my family have ever dealt with. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. They lack compassion, good customer service, and honesty. Very few of the employees were tolerable. We have had to have them back multiple times to fix their own mistakes, nor do they resolve issues in a timely manner. They tend to say things too please you, and don’t follow through with what they say they will do. We had to hire another contractor to fix their mistakes which cost almost $20,000. Please do not hire this company.

Description of Work: The workmen were great but the communication with the company/management was poor and it took a VERY long time to complete the project. There was no close out meeting or chance to discuss what was done. The craftsman finished his assignment and left - no word from either the company or our insurance company who paid for most of the repairs. It was, in general, a very unsatisfying experience.

+ -1 moreWe've used 1st Choice in the past, so when we had a reoccurrence of a roof leak this winter we called them in. They are very quick to respond and assess the problem and schedule the work. The contractors they use are prompt, courteous, and efficient. Overall, they do great work.
Description of Work: Roof leak repair - external: repair & replace shingles and flashing. Internal: repair drywall damage and paint.

+ -1 more|We did not have to lift a finger, 1st Choice and their wonderful employees did all the work, which was much appreciated as we are an older couple.
Description of Work: A windstorm in late 2012 destroyed our 10 x 16 shed and a 40-foot section of fence. There was much damage in the Tri-Cities from this windstorm, but 1st Choice arrived in a couple of hours and secured and protected our possessions that were in the shed and removed the damaged shed and fence so they would not imperil others. The next day 1st Choice obtained the necessary permits and provided a storage container for our possessions. | |We wanted a more substantial shed that blended well with our house. 1st Choice and their subcontractor Erickson Construction of Pasco worked with us and provided a beautiful shed built to home codes. The price was very fair. |

I feel I was grossly overcharged. I wanted estimates and he would do work without telling me then charge me and I never had told him to go ahead with it. Some of the charges were made up-

I called First Choice Restoration at 11:00 pm on a Sunday night to come out and secure or remove my carport off my roof so that it would not damage any more of my property or any of the nieghbors property, they sent out a couple of techicians that climbed up on my roof in 50 mph to move about a 15 foot span of patio roofing material off my roof and into my backyard, they secured the remaining roof as well as they could at 12:30 in the morning. They were back promptly at 8:00 the next morning to remove the roofing material in my backyard and to further secure the remaining carport / patio. I highly recommend these guys, they were truly my heroes that night.
