 + -1 moreThe carpet in the front room looked amazingly NEW again and the smell has been greatly minimized, thanks to Mahlon's careful steam cleaning and the odor neautralizer! The Toyota's upholstery also looked brand new and Mahlon even steam cleaned the fabric on the doors, which was a nice added surprise! This provider is truly a FIND!! He's honest, prompt and does EVERYTHING HE SAYS he'll do! I am happy to give Beautiful Carpet and Floors my highest recommendation! Thank You, Mahlon.
Description of Work: The owner of the service, Mahlon Zehr, drove out to the home of my dear friend to clean the carpets of his rural home. It wasn't easy to find a provider to drive out to the home where my friend resides, and Mahlon's business is many miles away but he came out to give us a detailed estimate first and to discuss what he could do for us. Mahlon took measurements of all the carpeted areas we wanted to have cleaned and gave us an estimate the same day and left us to think it over. Because of my friends health condition, (he is somewhat bed ridden) we could only have a portion of the carpets cleaned but would like to have the rest of the carpets done or replaced with hard flooring at a later date. Again, because of my friends health condition and the fact that he LOVES his animals, his home smells like a large cat box. Mahlon explained what he could do and said that he could add an "odor neutralizer" to help neautralize the sent because steam cleaning alone won't take care of the smell, and although the odor neautralizer was an additional cost, it was well worth it! After discussing the carpet cleaning options with my friend, we agreed to only have the large front living room cleaned at this time, because my friend is sure he will have the carpet replaced with other flooring at some point this year. On the day of the scheduled cleaning, my husband and I moved much of our friends furniture out and into the dining room and left the large couch, two recliners and entertainment center for Mahlon to move. Before getting started, Mahlon brought to my attention that the room he was going to clean was not the room he originally thought since he quoted several rooms and two of the rooms were both labeled as the "Living Room". The room we were having cleaned had additional square footage, but as it was an honest mistake on both our parts, Mahlon reworked his pricing and only charged $25 more than what we originally agreed. Mahlon moved the other furniture (heavy couch and two recliners) himself (except for the entertainment center) and steam cleaned the entire room. I also asked Mahlon to steam clean the seats in my friend's Toyota Tacoma pick up which were soiled with dust, dirt and dog accidents. Mahlon went to work on the truck upholstery after he steam cleaned the front room! The entire steam cleaning took approximately two and a half hours. This man is a professional and does outstanding work!!!
