Fantastic - can't imagine an easier, more expedient, or better process. Todd was great in all aspects.

He was on time, friendly and professional. However, he did contact me or provide me with an estimate following the initial appointment. And, I am assuming that the deck railing improvements that I wanted to make would have been worth his effort.

He was a great guy and very friendly. He gave a lot of suggestions and easy to get a hold off. I would have hired him, but had someone with whom I worked earlier give a similar bid. I will surely use him in the future.

Overall it went very well! Todd came well in advance to provide an estimate of the work, take measurements, and discuss options. His quote took a little while to arrive but was thoroughly researched, likely to be sure he could stick to it. We negotiated 1/3 payments - 1/3 on contract signing, 1/3 on first day of work, and 1/3 on completion of work. Once the job began, they stayed to budget, communicated daily on how things were going, had recommendations on what things might work well differently than the estimate, etc. What I really liked was that Todd and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would, or called/texted me to let me know they were running early or behind. They even worked across a couple of weekends when behind schedule. It always felt like Todd went the extra mile. When I had changes, Todd was clear on their impact to the budget and timeline and was OK with saying everything from 'No problem, will even save you money' to 'That will be expensive, I can price it out, but you might consider...' The only bad experience was when one of Todd's crew failed to keep a door closed and my cat wandered into a bad place. She didn't get hurt, but it was dangerous for her and I spent lots of time cleaning and calming her down. Todd had gone out for supplies and, though he told his worker to keep the door closed and warned of the cats, he hadn't and it happened. Todd apologized profusely and ensured it never happened again, and he took it seriously enough. The end result of the remodel was amazing. I couldn't be happier with the final product.
