We refaced the cabinets in [Member name removed] condominium about two years ago and as usual the cabinets came out beautiful and the [Member name removed]were very pleased. They purchased another condo and called me to look at the cabinets. [Member name removed] description of the job over the phone did not fit with the scope of work that we do but as a courtesy to an existing customer I agreed to look at the job. If it had not been an existing customer I would have declined . [Member name removed] requested extensive modifications and additions to their cabinets. Far beyond what we do. I suggested that the [Member name removed] get new cabinets. We don't sell new cabinets so I suggested a couple of sources for new cabinets.

Description of Work: The owner was an hour late for the appointment and I called them to find out what the problem was. Finally arrived but didn't quote after we said no crown molding. What a waste of our time.

I normally try not to make appointments on weekends but [member name removed] cajoled me into a Saturday consultation even though she lives much farther away than I typically work. It turns out that her house is out in the forest in Snohomish county, down a private road that is not on GPS. I was lost, they didn't answer their phone, I found their house after getting directions from a farmer. The scope of work that [member name removed] wanted was far beyond the refacing job that I could offer. She wanted to have her face frame cabints turned into frameless (euro style) with extensive modifications, additions, moving walls etc. I explained that she really needed a remodeling contractor and that she needed new cabinetst get the dream kitchen that she was describing to me and that it was way beyond the type of work that I do. [member name removed] understood.
