Now every time there's a breeze, 10 plus shingles go flying off my roof.  I asked them to hand wash my windows because they are older windows.  They pressure washed them as well.  They are very old double paned windows and now you cannot see through them at all.  They are fogged over.  The ones that were bad are now worse, and the ones that were actually decent, you can no longer see through them.  I've since had the roof repaired 4 times and spent over $800.00 or more on repairs.  I'm also having another repair done this weekend on my roof.

His employee did indeed show up with a pressure washer and had already gotten a significant amount of water inside the house before it was apparent to my wife and he was told to stop.  I got a phone call from my wife.  I was at the office.  The employee sprayed water into the ridge vent and into the ceiling and onto the floor below.  When the employee was told to stop, he acknowledged the problem and proceeded to help my wife wipe some water from the floor.  The water continued to drip onto the floor for more than an hour.  Water dripped from the ridge beam and at least one of the light fixtures.  When the employee contacted the owner to acknowledge that he had "screwed up", the owner still attempted to browbeat my wife into letting his employee continue, even though he clearly had been informed there was a problem.  My wife would not agree to that until he spoke with me.  When I called the owner in an endeavor to come to a resolution, he attempted the same tactic with me. After I explained that he was not the one in charge of whether or not his employee continued work on my house, his demeaner changed somewhat.  Against my better judgement I agreed to allow him to continue in an effort to at least have a roof that looked uniformly cleaned.  He was also contracted to clean up after himself and wash the exterior of all of the windows.  He got moss all over the place and did a very poor job of cleaning up. The only time the owner was professional or pleasant was before he was given the job.  Once there were problems, which he assured us there would not be, he was rude, belligerent, intimidating and just plain unprofessional.

When his employee was ready to leave, the owner called and demanded immediate payment.  That seemed more than a bit bold for someone who just potentially caused a great deal of damage to my home.  He was told that no payment would be forthcoming until the extent of damage could be determined. Once again he became very aggressive and belligerent even going so far as to threaten to place a lien against my property. Three days later, I am still in the process of trying to determine the extent of damage.  So far I have had a restoration specialist here for a quick visit and he is scheduled to return sometime Wednesday afternoon to finish his assessment.

They did what they said they would do, but I wonder if the price was maybe a bit high. The worker who actually did the work was helpful and service oriented when I asked him to fix a couple of shingles that had been unstraightened by the pressure washing and to treat certain roof areas more heavily with the chemical treatment.

Prompt, friendly, efficient. Work was done very well and exactly as agreed to. I appreciate how well Mike the owner communicated with me through the whole process, and the guy that came out to clean was very nice and double checked with me several times to make sure he cleaned all of the appropriate surfaces and that the work was done to my satisfaction.

The showed up when they said they would. The cleaned up very nicely. They looked around and asked if they could do anything else. They ended up pressure washing our fences. They tapped down nails that were coming out of our carport. They hauled away debris. They were very thorough in their cleanup. I was really surprised because they got every last scrap. They even made sure it was cleaned out of the gutters. They knew exactly what they were doing. It was a trouble free job and I was very please. They were so professional and courteous. It was a real pleasure. It was a fast job as well. They will be the first I would call or recommend to anyone.

They did a nice job. We had just installed new windows. They came out to wash the windows while we were having the floors refinished. We told them to do the outside only. They used something to pry the screens off and they damaged 3 of the screens on the brand new windows. I found out after the fact. I called the owner and he responded. I got an estimate for the screen replacements. The owner of Gold Star cleaning gave me $100, which was $10 more than the actual replacement costs, which he did for my inconvenience. They did a nice job of power-washing the walk-ways and paved surfaces to get the house ready for sale. It improved the appearance of the house.

They kind of picked themselves by showing up at my door then I verified them by looking them up on the list. They did a pretty good job, I wouldn't give them 5 stars but there wasn't anything majorly wrong. I might use them again.

I never thought I would buy a service from someone who knocked on my door. I was very cautious and checked them our with this list and the BBB. They delivered. I couldn't be happier with the job. I got my money's worth. Things were very clean and they even picked up all the leaves on my deck (I didn't expect that). The roof looks very clean. They certainly removed all the visible moss and time will tell if the deterrent does its job.

I was wary at first because the company owner showed up at my door to sell his company's services. I thought "This may be one of those outfits that sends the charmer to hook the customer, then it turns out to be a ripoff." So I checked out the company on Angie's List and the BBB site, and both gave positive ratings. A Gold Star employee showed up the next day and worked his b*** off for several hours. When he was finished, the exterior of my house looked beautiful. I was especially pleased with the appearance of the gutters, which had been looking pretty awful. No payment was requested until all work was finished (except the anti-moss treatment, which they will have to return to do on a dry day). I'm going to ask them back to clean and treat my garage roof, which is also seriously mossy.

Excellent experience. The house looks great! Windows are super clean. Roof and gutters look really good. Most noticeably, the clean up was superior! A lot of junk came raining down off the roof and out of the gutters, but the crew did a fantastic job of leaving everything around the house super clean.
