Description of Work: A company I hired to clean up a wall of a crawl space that may have had damp termites recommended spray the area with "Talstar" a multi-insecticide. This 16 oz. bottle was purchased from "Do It Yourself Pest Control" for $127.95. This price seemed a little high but not being familiar with insecticides I accepted the price. After thinking about this for several days, I did some reseach and found FOUR (4) website selling the 16 oz. bottle between $28.40(with free shipping), $28.60 and $34.99, most of these sites sol;d a gallon for $45-60.00. $127.95 seems not only excessive but close to price gouging.

+ -1 moreI don't have a specific job in mind but they have helped us with rodents in the attic (that was fun!) and have helped clients with rodents on their properties. With our house, we did the work to block the rats based on their advice. For my clients, they did both the repairs, bait traps and advice.
Description of Work: I've used ARealty many times for rental properties I've managed as well as for clients with rodent problems. Everyone has spoken highly of their experience. These folk are not out to do unnecessary work which is a nice surprise in this field.

+ -1 moreBoth Jason and Matt were thorough and professional. Matt did run out of flashing and had to return three days later, but the bulk of the job was completed and Jason returned to inspect Matt's work. We do have an ongoing relationship with ARealty, as Jason comes out to check the rodent stations every other month.
Description of Work: After having a disastrous experience with Redi National Pest Eliminators, I contacted Arealty Pest Control. Jason and Matt are the two technicians we work with on a regular basis, but Matt was the one who did the work after the inspection. We had a rat enter our home through the outside shed and the inspection revealed several possible access points for rodents. Although Jason put out several rodent stations and we haven't had a rodent re-enter our house, we knew we needed to have the possible access areas sealed off so we wouldn't have to see another rodent. Matt did an excellent job screening existing foundation vents, putting in screens and flashing where needed, and covering all gaps around the house.

Due to the good work they do at my place of business, I have hired them to do pest control work in my own home. Job 2: Arealty Pest control did a wonderful job. They responded quickly, came on time, were professional and charged a fair price.
Description of Work: Job 1: Arealty Pest Control does preventive roach and rodent pest control on a monthly basis at the apartment complex I oversee. ($92.48) Job 2: Arealty Pest Control came out to my home twice to deal with two different wasp infestations. They dealt with a wasp nest inside a bedroom wall and a nest inside the bathroom vent. ($140)

+ -1 moreTHE OWNER CAME, GAVE AN ESTIMATE, AND STARTED THAT VERY DAY. THEY WERE CONSCIENTIOUS, EFFICIENT, AND REASONABLY PRICED. WE HAVENT SEEN A RAT SINCE.
Description of Work: A RAT HAD ESTABLISHED A NEST IN IVY AROUND THE BASE OF A TREE IN THE FRONT YARD. WE NOTICED IT WHEN YOUNG RATS WERE ACTIVE IN THE BACK YARD. THIS COMPANY SET SPECIAL, NOT OBVIOUS TRAPS, WHICH PETS, CHILDREN, OR BIRDS COULD NOT GET INTO. THEY SPEND ABOUT 6 WEEKS CLEARING THEM OUT.
