MATT WALKER INSTALLATIONS

Matt came in to do by himself what a multiple person crew from a contractor out of Battle Ground, Washington failed to do properly. Matt did at least three times the job scope for the same cost as the failed contractor wanted and did it with superior skill and outstanding results. His attention to detail is one of his greatest attributes. Matt is very personable. Matt showed up on time and did a great job of clean up each day. He offered very useful and practical suggestions during the project that saved time, cost, and produced superior results. Matt showed his skill set encompasses several home construction disciplines. He redid the plumbing to be much simpler rather than the rats nest of plumbing lines the previous contractor had left. He installed new drywall and textured it. He removed a very old in- wall A/C unit. And even helped my son hang a new door to his room. And of course, he did a masterful job with the tiling. He created a very nice walk in shower with seating and a small alcove for shower soap and shampoo. The tiling at the corners have grout lines and coloring that match so well it appears the corners are curved rather that a 90 degree angle. Matt came into a mess and left it something I'm proud so show to friends. I would hire him again without hesitation. He is at the top of my favorite contractors list. If you are fortunate enough to have Matt work for you, then I know you will be blessed. In the end I felt I had gained not only a great contractor and a project well done, but also I had gained a new friend.

I called Matt on Tuesday and asked him to bid the replacement our laminate counter tops. He called back and we scheduled a meeting on Wednesday. I accepted his bid and ordered the laminate from a local supplier that afternoon. It arrived on Thursday and Matt called on Friday to schedule the start of the job on the following Monday. He arrived at the appointed hour and began work immediately. The job involved the removal of some custom cupboards and our downdraft vented stove as well as the sink. It was obvious from the start that he knew what he was doing. He disconnected the sink plumbing and in the process replaced the shut off valves which were defective. He disconnected and removed the stove top and its downdraft venting system. The job went like clockwork. After he installed the laminate, he reinstalled the sink and stove top and all worked perfectly. I was delighted with the outcome. He continually cleaned up after himself and left out kitchen as clean as he found it. Matt is a hard worker. He seems to never stop moving and working. He also takes pride in his workmanship and in doing the job right. For example, when the noted that the old counter had two layers of old laminate on it. He tore out the old laminate down to bare wood so that he would have a better base for his installation. He did the job on schedule and within his original bid. I couldn't have asked for more. I would definitely recommend Matt to others and hope to use his services as needed in the future.

THIS GUY CAME OVER AND LOOKED AT OUR HOUSE AND QUOTED US A PRICE. WE HAD HIM INSTALL OUR CARPET HE DID A WONDERFUL JOB. I ALWAYS GIVE OUT HIS NAME TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE YOUNG MAN THAT DID THIS WORK AT OUR HOME. HE WAS ON TIME AND VERY PLEASANT. HE WAS A HARD WORKER AND CLEANED UP AND HAULED STUFF AWAY. HE ALSO CHECKED BY LATER FOR SATISFACTION OF WORK.
