My experience with Custom Heating and Cooling was terrible. Our furnace had quit running in the morning and we needed to determine the cause. We contacted Custom by phone as he was listed on Angie's List and were quoted a price of $70 for a troubleshooting call. Josh Bryant said he would be here in a couple of hours. It was late in the afternoon when he arrived and it took about 10 minutes to determine the blower motor had burned out. It was still under warranty, so Josh contacted the manufacturer while he was still in our driveway and learned there was no warranty registered. We said we needed to contact the original installer to determine if, in fact, it was still under warranty. Josh left our driveway at 5:02 p.m. We learned we had to go through the original installer and the warranty was good, but we had to go through them, so we wouldn’t be able to use his services. We received his bill for $150.92 in a couple of days. We called his office and said we were quoted a price of $70, he insisted he had to spend lots of time on the phone and he called at our place after hours so he wanted time and a half. His response was very belligerent, and said if we refused to pay he would turn us over to a Collection Service. I wouldn’t recommend this Jerk to anyone.
