Schuerman Plumbing

Mr. Schuerman got back to us the same night we emailed asking for an estimate. He was able to schedule the estimate within a day or two, and he was right on time. I accepted his bid on the spot, and the repair was made right then. He was fast and efficient, and very friendly. He also took a quick look at a toilet we were thinking of replacing and gave a helpful piece of advice on the job - plus he told me what it would cost to have him come back and do it (we took the project advice, but my husband was able to install the toilet himself). I would definitely use his services again.

I called and was able to have someone over within a few hours. Jim came in diagnosed the problem and knew what to do, fixed it and I had a draining sink!

Had to call back, to repair/adjust toilet. Response time, however, was acceptable.

It went very well. I got them from the list. I called them up. They came out to the house and did what they were supposed to do. There was no mess and no fuss.

Excellent. I had grown frustrated that I could not find a handyman or plumber that was highly regarded. So joined Angie's List and found Schuerman Plumbing who was rated A+. I called them on a Saturday, got call back on Sunday with appt. on Thursday. Mr. Schuerman arrived a few minutes early, assessed what was wrong with the toilet, fixed it quickly and it is working great!!! I highly recommend his services.

Prompt, polite, competent in all respects! Work required removal of original small under-counter hot water tank, installing new inlet and outlet plumbing on identical new under-counter hot water heater we supplied, cutting holes in interior cabinet walls and house exterior wall for new overflow drain plumbing. Work accomplished per original telephone quote and is of excellent quality. City plumbing inspector noted the high quality work, approved permit final. Because we often were in downtown, we offered to (and did) get the city plumbing permit instead of Mr. Schuerman making a special trip there.

They showed up promptly at their scheduled time and replaced the faucet. It is now working beautifully and is easy to turn on and off. We are very satisfied with quality and price of services we received.

Jim was great! He arrived on time and performed the work within 1/2 hour. He had the pipe in his truck, so he didn't have to run off to get parts. He doesn't carry the hot water dispensers with him, which I wouldn't expect him to do since I would rather research and purchase the one I really want. He said it should be relatively easy to replace the dispenser and since the leak is really slight I could make do for a while until I get a replacement. Setting up the appointment was as easy as one email and a follow-up call to confirm the time. I said I wasn't in a huge hurry, but he was available only 2 days after my initial contact (sometimes it takes so long to get someone out unless you say your house is flooding!) I would hire this guy again in an instant. The price seemed a little bit high for the length of time he was there, but I'd rather pay that than hire someone who is late, unresponsive or unprofessional. I'm also naive about the going rate, so it's probably fair.

A little bit of phone tag to schedule the appointment, but overall went very well. Arrived on time as scheduled and completed work in a quick and competent manner.

They were great. He called to double check regarding the size of the bathroom and the new toliet, I liked the attention to detail.

We needed some guidance on better faucets to purchase, which we received when we called to make the appointment. This helped us have the right fixture on hand before his visit. The work we needed done was very basic household repair which we had screwed up. Jim Schuerman was cheerful, reassuring, quick, clean and effective. He answered questions about upcoming bathroom upgrades we were considering, and made very helpful clarifications about which things would take us down a slippery slope from replacements into more major remodeling.

Extremely reasonable. He showed up when he said he was going to. Very professional. Jim Sherman, the owner, was the one that came out and he was just great. He came back out to fix something and didn't even charge. Very punctual.

I like that I can call them and no matter how small the job, they will do it. This is something I have a hard time with and they did it in no time at all. I do wish the charge was less, but I can rely on them so it is worth it to me.

I was very pleased with the way these guys worked for me. They were here on time every time. They were responsive, they take the time to explain everything to you. I have worked with them other times and I will be following up with him for other projects. I felt he was a bit expensive, but it was worth it for the great job he did for me.

My husband dug out the dirt surrounding the pipe as well as removed all plants. This allowed Mr. Schuerman to come in and focus on just replacing the pipe. Despite having to work in ankle deep mud Mr. Schuerman was able to get the pipe replaced and all connections secured. All work was done within 1 hour, much less than the three hours estimated. Having a clear work area despite the mud lessen the time needed for repairs.

As a Realtor, I have used Jim numerous times over the years. He is always prompt, efficient, courteous and knows his business. I trust he will do the job right the first time and it will be fairly priced.

Excellent. Jim helped us to choose which toilets to select, and then he purchased them for us at a very fair price. He arrived when scheduled, completed all work in 2 hours, cleaned up, and was very professional. He even hauled away our old toilets at no additional cost.

Jim was on time and polite. He had all the basic parts he needed on his truck and after I pointed out the problem he went straight to work.

He did a good job, but the bill seemed high. He charged me for an hour and a half, but the job couldn't have taken much more than an hour. When I questioned the bill, he said he had to charge me for travel time, so I paid him. Is payment for travel time customary? I know he had another job nearby because he said that was why he was able to come back to collect his money shortly after I returned home. A friend I talked to soon after felt that I had been charged too much and phoned him, asking him to return the money and not call me. Schuerman called me anyhow and argued that charges for travel time were customary. I said I didn't want to talk about it further, but he continued, finally saying grudgingly that he liked to keep his customers happy and would refund the money. By then, I was upset and just wanted to get off the phone, so I didn't say, as I should have, ''Okay, return the money.'' Needless to say, I never got a refund.

Jim was exactly on time, quickly identified the problem, and fixed it efficiently. Since Jim comes from Issaquah, he charged travel time, which was one hour to Bellevue, and this made the price higher than it would have been otherwise. I forgot to ask Jim to replace the laundry tub, which we had removed to give access to the leak- it would have been nice if he'd noticed and asked if we wanted it put back, but I can't fault him since I didn't request that work. I also asked about fixing a dripping tub faucet, but Jim didn't have the parts necessary and explained how we could do it ourselves, recommending Bellevue Plumbing for purchasing the supplies. I would definitely use Jim again if he were a little closer to my home.

Mr. Schuerman inspected the old unit, found the source of the leak and recommended that the old unit be replaced. We agreed, and he removed the old unit and replaced it with a new one. The work was completed within an hour.

Jim was on time, very polite and professional. The jobs were done well and everything is working. I know who I will call if I need help with plumbing again. We were very delighted to find Jim here on Angie's List.

I received a prompt response to my initial call for service, a prompt arrangement for an appointment, and professional and friendly service at the time of repair.

THE PLUMBER WAS ON TIME AND VERY NICE. THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS EXCELLENT. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
