 + -1 moreI called and they said to bring it right over. They gave good directions on how to locate the shop, i.e. large red rectangular sign, go up long dirt road. Parking a little tight. Staff I met was very friendly and relaxed, said they could sharpen the blade right then if I cared to wait. Price was very reasonable compared to other sources I had tried. Blade was sharpened well. I will use their services again and will recommend them to others.

 + -1 moreMy lawn mower was running poorly. My gas edger was not running at all. I took both to Personalized Service Repair (PSR). PSR provided an accurate estimate. They cleaned the carburetor on both pieces of equipment and got them running. The were very thoughtful about the cost of repair versus the cost of replacement. They also provided preventative maintenance suggestions. They did such a good job, I have recommended them to others.

Description of Work: Lawn tractor wasn't running so I took it to PSR to clean the carbs. They got it running but then called me to tell me the transmission was shot. They didn't recommend fixing it as they indicated it cost more than the unit was worth. I took it home and parked it on a trailer while I tried to figure out what I was going to do with it. My buddy saw it and asked what was up.....he took it to a guy he knows in Yakima and two days later he calls me to say "guess what I'm doing, I'm driving around my yard on your mower" apparently the transmission just needed an adjustment. While the PSR folks were friendly, they obviously didn't know there way around this mower. It's to bad really, I liked the people.

 + -1 moreProfessional and courteous on the phone. During the scheduled pickup the driver was on time and very nice. The total for repair came in lower than the estimate and the work was finished sooner than expected. My tractor looks new again and runs better than it did day 1.
Description of Work: Picked up my John Deere lawn tractor, serviced it and fixed a few problems, and had it delivered back all within a week. Will be taking all of my equipment for servicing and repairs to them from now on.

 + -1 moreWe took three lawn mowers in to be serviced. On craftsman rider, and two push mowers. None of the three even ran when we took them in. The service was great. He finished all three before his estimate - and during the busy season! We felt the prices were very reasonable and he called to go over everything before he completed the repairs to get approval. Would definitely use him again and recommend to anyone needing repairs done.

 + -1 moreThe lawnmower runs great now and I'm looking forward to using it for many more years. The motor manufacturer Tecumseh is no longer in business, so that means a bit more money and wait. They turned the repair around in just under 2 weeks with most of the time spent waiting on parts. If you have good older equipment - don't throw it out. Get it repaired because it's better than the stuff for sale today. If I run into problems on my other small equipment, I'll definitely go back to PSR.
Description of Work: I had a carburetor replacement and full service (oil & spark plug change, cleanup, etc) on my 1990s Lawn Boy motor.

Description of Work: My Mantis rototiller wasn't starting and if I could get it started it would stall. After trying a new carb, Kyle's assessment was the repair would be more than the cost of a new tiller and did not charge me for his work. Also had a basic tune-up doen for an Echo Trimmer.
