Services we offer
Cedar roofing, composition roofing & metal roofing.
We would not recommend them to anybody. We were not satisfied at all. We initially liked them and thought that they were great. They did a horrible job and we paid them a lot of money. They did an absolutely lousy job. Their price was the going rate. They were on time. We would not use them again and we've told others not to use them.

The worst experience I've had with a contractor. Definitely will not use or recommend their services. Prior to work, they did not inspect the structure of the roof which was built with 2 x 6 rafters without trussing as allowed at that time (1967). The builder at that time was throwing up houses at a rapid rate and quality was not a priority. After NW completed the job, a roof leak appeared in the same area as before their work. They had also installed an extra roof vent that was not specified and it developed a leak. Trying to get them to repair the leak and remove the extra vent was extremely difficult and it took several months before they actually did some work. The leak persists. But worse, upon my personal inspection of the roof structure, I found many of the 2 x 6 rafters cracked. Two of them were so bad that the gap in the cracked area was an inch or more. A report to BBB is pending.
Description of Work: Removed old "Woodruff" shingles and underlayment and installed new underlayment and composition shingles on house and attached garage.

The workmanship and quality of the new roof is very good. Working with this company was not good. We were told work would take place 4-6 weeks after signing a contract, and after 8 weeks I had to start calling them everyday until they came to start the project. Their crews didn't show till 10:00 and took 1.5 hour lunch breaks, as a result a 2 day job took over a week (including the weekend)! They messed up their supply orders, had people not show up to work, and in general seemed overbooked and stretched too thin. That said, the roof looks great and the quality of the workmanship is very good. If they could just get their administrative act together! Then again, roofers have their pick of clients these days so perhaps this in the normality in the industry.
Description of Work: Removed shingle roof and replaced with a high quality composite roof with all the fix-ins.

Estimator David Antonacci is a bright, friendly guy with a great sense of humor who stopped by our house, gave a straightforward explanation of roofing options, and then submitted a very reasonable bid. We called to schedule a time; it was a couple of days before they could get back to us, but they were so flexible in scheduling that once we set a date, they called us back in a couple of days to do the work nearly a week ahead of the schedule. Work was completed in one day by a hard-working team, very well-organized and professional. We did have the dumpster around for an extra day, but it was picked up without our having to call, clean-up was excellent, and no plants were damaged. We're very satisfied with the work and would definitely hire them again.
Description of Work: Re-roofed a free-standing garage. Removed old cedar shakes, installed plywood and finished with architectural grade composition roof.
