The Doug Fir (160 feet tall!) was very close to the house, and it was removed with surgical precision. The canopies were raised on several large trees without sacrificing privacy - this was done in an expert manner. Everyone worked tirelessly and cheerfully the entire day, as there was a lot to do. The cleanup was very efficient and neat. We would recommend Matt and his people to anyone. He is a very organized, knowledgeable and friendly person and has the utmost respect for one's property. Throughout the day he would always take time to answer any questions, and wanted to ensure that we were satisfied with the work done. We would always hire him again.

I have used Matt's before so I felt confident in calling them again. Took them several days to respond to call. Day of appointment, they called as they were running 10 minutes late. I wasn't on site when they did the job, but arrived when they were finishing up. Estimated 3 hours to do the job, finished in 2 hours. Beware if your lawn is wet as stumper can leave tracks (a non-issue for me as lawn wasn't in good shape and I had painting contractor working there at the same time). Perhaps they should carry plywood to roll stumper over lawn. I did have to clear the road, sidewalk, and front lawn of wood chips. Received 10% Senior discount without even asking.

I called and left a message, and it took them four days to return my call. We agreed upon an appointment day and time a few days hence, to which they did not show up. They did not call to cancel, they just didn't show up.

Matt & his crew were friendly, polite and helpful. They completed all the work to my satisfaction. Cleaned up and removed all the debris.

They were great and they actually repaired our fence afterwards. I had four other estimates and their's was the best. During the process, the technicans didn't damage any surrounding flowers and bushes; they were very careful. They also cleaned up their mess once the work was completed. I'm happy with their services and I would recommend them to others. I'm actually having them come out for more work this spring.

I used them because several neighbors had given them high marks. Everything went well. The only reason I gave a B for responsiveness was my initial difficulty in getting in contact with Matt. Once that was done things went well. He took the time to write up, and explain, his bid and gave suggestions for other trimming for me to consider which made sense to me. It took me a couple of months to make the decision to have it done but, once I did, things went pretty smoothly, arranging the time with me so that I could be at home. They came when they said and were very careful and cleaned up very well, leaving the firewood stacked where it was easy for a friend to retrieve. [They would have hauled it away too.]

I hired Matt's Tree Service because of their expertise, promise and execution when dealing with large trees next to homes. I was happy with the service! Thanks again. I would highly recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

I got a quote from Matt's tree services for pruning 2 big cedars in our yard and cutting down 2 cherry medium trees that were very close to the house. Their quote was the best and their evaluation showed a lot of knowledge and expertise. They gave a few good suggestions. They were able to schedule appointment within 7 days after providing quote. They came on time, finished all the work within a day and cleaned up properly. Work done was of good quality. I will surely hire them again whenever I need tree services.
