We had a few scheduling issues, but everything worked out pretty well.

They showed up on time and did a great job!

I was happy with the service they did! They worked around my schedule; I had a lot of services going on at once, and they were very accommodating. The owner, Kevin, took the time to make sure I was clear on the work they were going to do, and gave me general guidance on what to consider. He also advised me to get other bids as well, which I appreciated. He was very responsive and followed up.

The service was fine overall. We didn't have any problems and they did a good job.

The owner Kevin was great to work with. Very responsive and friendly. We had one very small issue and Kevin responded ASAP and made several offers to make it right but the issue was too small to trouble him or his workers. Overall we are very happy with the outcome and would indeed have them back out.

He combined both Big Deals for me and made it all one big Pressure Washing job. He is a pleasant man to work with and he is doing a good job.

The work went well. Scheduling a time was challenging. I got the impression that the Angie offer was too successful. However, Kevin is a nice man and always kept in touch, trying to schedule a day that worked for the both of us. He is a serious businessman and his worker did a good job

The original order was for pressure washing one large deck and two small porches. However, because there was an extremely long delay in services being performed, the company offered to include washing the driveway, a short fence and a sidewalk in the back yard. The service was purchased on January 18, 2013, but it wasn't completed until April 4, 2013. The man who provided the service on April 4th was very thorough and went out of his way to make up for the lengthy delays in providing service. If I ever use their service again, I will insist on a specific service date rather than allowing almost 3 months to go by. This was not a positive experience overall, but the effort and apologies of the man doing the work made up for some of the delay.

Kevin called me a day or two after I purchased his pressure washing deal to thank me for my purchase and to see if I needed it done right away. A number of people had purchased this deal and he was trying to take everyone's specific needs (time-wise) into account when he started scheduling the work. I have never had a company call me to thank me for choosing a deal or call me to make sure I would be able to use the deal I had purchased as I had hoped to! We arranged a meeting to discuss what I hoped to cover within the purchase price of the deal. (It was offered for a certain number of square feet.) I didn't want to spend more than I already had but I really wanted specific areas cleaned. I had no idea how many square feet I was looking at. Kevin couldn't have been more accommodating or flexible . He was totally willing to wash only those areas on the driveway that were particularly bad so that I could get things like my front steps and walkway done, too. Although I wasn't there to see the work done, the result was great! All the areas we had talked about had been taken care of and the clean-up had been complete. Other than the fact that there was no longer a moss problem, one would never have know I'd had the work done. Kevin emailed me prior to the day of the work to remind me that he was coming and then emailed me, afterward, to make sure I was satisfied with the finished job. I understand that his primary business is painting (interior and exterior). Although I didn't use his company for these services, I will definitely be calling him in the future. I highly recommend this business for the quality of their work and their customer service!

KDS Painting scheduled the appointment around my schedule, arrived on time, introduced themselves, listened to me carefully about the job, worked diligently and cheerfully. Totally professional and thorough. Excellent work!

He kept pushing off scheduling for various reasons, and the last time I heard from him, he said that he would call me back. I have not heard from him since.

I called a whole bunch of times and sent a few emails. Eventually we did set up a time, that I unfortuanatly had to cancel due to illness, and now, trying to reschedule has proven the same thing. He does call me back, but only after 2 or 3 calls from me.

I met the painter, Dylan, at the condo. We did a quick walk through. One unknown was how difficult it would be to remove the wallpaper from the 2nd bedroom and the master bathroom. The bathroom had 2 layers and in the bedroom even the sliding closet doors were covered in wallpaper. I left him with a key to get in and out as the job would take several days. I stopped by the next day to take a look and was amazed to find that all the wallpaper had been removed -- not a trace remained! The other rooms' walls and ceiling were already painted at this point. I got a call that the job was finished the fourth day and arranged to walk through with the owner, Kevin. I was amazed at the transformation; it looked great! There was still some clean-up to do and items needing to be re-installed; such as the large mirror in the master bath, some of the closet shelves, beauty rings for the recessed ceiling lights and various knobs and hardware that had been removed to facilitate the painting process. The next day, Kevin had Darrin come out to complete those chores. It took one more day because he had to purchase more brackets for the closet shelves since some had been mistakenly tossed. The result is worth every minute spent; I am delighted and will not hesitate to use this firm again.

Kevin Silverman, the owner, gave us great service and suggest the way we could get all our painting done. It was a bargain all around. Donovan, the painter, was so neat. there was not a smudge of drop of loose paint anywhere. he was efficient and pleasant to have with us for the better part of the day.

They were very professional and gave great information. We decided to do other remodeling work first and then the painting later so we did not end up using it.

We found KDS Painting on Angie's List, and they called back in quick response to our phone call request-for-bid. Their estimate was very accurate, and the interior painting work was done on several interior areas (hallways, closets, etc). The work was completed quickly and performance was excellent. As a consequence to their excellent job, I've asked KDS to provide us a quote for our exterior house painting next summer also.painting

We never got an estimate from them, we tried a few times to finally get them out here but we never heard back from him with an estimate.

I will definitely recommend them to anyone. Owner of the company, Kevin first came to make sure he has a good grasp of the whole project, and when his employee Darrin showed up, they put head together and started making sure everything was well-communicated. Darrin started the clock when he broke the first stroke-- which was really nice of him, as I know a lot of workers start counting the min. they arrive. Darrin was polite and fast. Most importantly, cleaned up well after himself.

I purchased the 4 - hour $99.00 trim special from KDS Painting. I was having new bedroom carpet installed & could not paint the trim due to injury. Kevin, an owner, came to my house to view what needed to be done. In addition to the baseboard trim in 3 bedrooms, there was a closet and part of a hallway that I requested. The trim would be changed from very dark brown wood to white. I had also patched and primed a few areas in a smaller bright blue bedroom preparing it for my son to paint. Kevin suggested that his painter could complete the bedroom & estimated an additonal hour @ $40.00. I told him I would think about it & so we did not write up an invoice for it. I later decided to add the bedroom & emailed Kevin the additional request. When Donovan, the painter, arrived he looked at the bright blue & determined it would require a coat of primer. He went to work on the job, moving from room to room, priming the bedroom wall & the trim ( the primer required time to dry before painting). It became apparent that a total of 4 hours would not be enough to properly complete the bedroom. I told Donovan that I only had a verbal agreement with Kevin on the price & it now appeared that not only one coat of primer, but 2 coats of paint would be necessary & it could add several hours to the total. Donovan called Kevin to discuss the problem & Kevin stood by his word & the original verbal estimated price. The day after the project was competed, I notice some of the old rug stuck to the baseboard paint & when I pulled it away, the paint came with it. (I'd told Donovan that he did not have to tape the carpet as it was being replaced). I emailed Kevin & he immediately responded that Donovan would be out the next day. Donovan returned the next morning & promptly fixed all the areas required. Kevin had also emailed that since carpet removal & replacement sometimes scratches the trim, he would send Donovan out after the new carpet was layed to patch the trim if necessary. It was not. Finally, not only did Kevin respond promptly & stand by his word, he even dropped the $40.00 charge for the room painting after Donovan had to return. I joined Angies list after several bad experiences with service providers. I am amazed still at the first class response I got from KDS painting.

The job was done quickly and in a timely manner, so I'm happy overall.

OMG!!! I absolutely LOVE this company! Kevin has truly built a great business that is full of hard-working, punctual guys who's work ethic is based on a solid foundation of professionalism! Kevin (the Owner) came over and we walked through all of the details and he helped us strategize about colors, accent walls and intricate details of the various corrections that needed to be made. Dylan was the "lead" on our project and he was always punctually ringing our door bell at 7:30am ready to start the job! And let me tell you, his attention to detail was unparalled! The lines are all hand-cut crisp and clean, perfectly drawn as if a straight edge was used! I've never seen anything like it. The 2 other guys that worked on the job were always at the house by 8:00am and ready to just jump in and get the work done. I was very impressed. Here are my bits of advice when working with this company: * Listen to Kevin's suggestions about paint coloring. I made the mistake of going with a Grey instead of the Celery Green he suggested and BOY was I dead wrong! I felt awful having the guys repaint the huge room again, but the entire crew were so gracious about it, they took care of it the next day with little extra expense to me!! * Be sure to communicate well. Set expectations up front if you want a daily run down of what was done so as not to "touch" freshly painted areas in error. I created a punch list for Dylan & crew because our rooms were in such different states of completion, it seemed to help. Also, I wasn't afraid to call Kevin at night to confess my mischosen paint color or tell them what I loved, hated, etc... The entire time they were totally professional and did all that I hoped for. I can't wait for them to return in the Spring/Summer to paint the exterior!!! Thanks KDS Painting!!!

Kevin came out to see what I needed done in our house. He then communicated very well how long it would take and when he could get it done. He was great communicating by email and by phone. He was prompt in getting someone out to our house to get it done, even though it was a small job. I had the trim around the doors painted today in my house. The paint job was done very well. The employee was on time and finished up with a job well done. I would definitely have them back. In fact, I've asked for an estimate on painting our house - exterior for Spring.

I was extremely happy with the quality of the paint job. The main painter was very meticulous. The house looks 100% better. Because it had been awhile since it was last painted, my house required extensive prep work. The exterior was pressure washed, siding was scraped to remove all loose material & all areas of failed or missing caulk was caulked with a 35 year acrylic caulk, loose nails were reset, and all bare wood primed with an oil based primer. Finally the home was finished with two coats of latex paint, back-rolling the first coat, and where necessary the second. All trim was painted using brushes & rollers. I would not hesitate to recommend KDS Painting and would hire them again in the future.

I hired KDS Painting to paint a house and storage shed in Ocean Shores based on good things I heard about them from others. The house was badly in need of a paint job. KDS performed the following: Pressure washed the building. Stripped & whitened cedar shingles. Scraped any loose materials and reset nails. Caulked where needed using a 35 year latex caulk. Primed bare areas. Cedar shakes were sprayed and back-rolled with two coats of paint matching the siding color. The front porch and wooden steps were prepped and painted. The body of the house and shed were sprayed with two coats of a latex paint and where appropriate, back-rolled. All trim received two coats of paint applied by hand using brushes and rollers. I am very pleased with the outcome of the paint job and the professionalism with which it was accomplished. I would not hesitate to recommend KDS Painting and plan to hire them again in the future.
