Description of Work: We used KDS for painting the exterior of our three story house. At first I was concerned due to the lack of responsiveness, but once we got everything in place it couldn't have gone better. It was absolutely one of the best paint jobs we've had. They pressure washed the house, fixed all dry rot and holes, caulked and painted. The quality was fantastic! Dylan and Robert were very hard workers. They arrived every day at 7:00 and worked solid for 5 days. Kevin, the owner, has had some personal hardships lately which was the reason for lack of responsiveness. It looks like to me that things are smoothing out for his company and I wish him all the best in turning things around.

Description of Work: I initially bought an Angie's deal for 8 hours of interior painting from KDS. I advised I had some interior, but some exterior painting needs--they said they could do both. Their painter came and worked straight through lunch, and did everything I had asked for and more. He was very competent and did a good job. When I prepped my house to sell, I needed some additional exterior painting done, and reached out to KDS--they sent the same painter, who, again, did a great job for a reasonable price. I was very impressed with them and would use them again in a second!

Description of Work: Pressure wash. Not a good job, streaks everywhere. Service guy did not announce his arrival or departure. Had trouble and had to come back next day. Owner offered to come back again and apologized. I appreciated that but did not take him up on offer.

Description of Work: Nothing. I signed up for their special I still see advertised on Angie's list. I called them twice to schedule, they gave a date, never showed up and never called me back. I'm a busy person with a house I'm maintaining out of state. Thank goodness Angie's list refunded the money. I have four rental properties, one needing to be painted. The other just pressure washing. Too bad KDS, you lost out. If you are going to run specials, make sure you have the staff to handle the inquiries.

 + 0 moreMy house desperately needed painting. I'm a single mom and could not do it myself. I called 3 paint companies to get bids. One of the companies never showed up at all. One company showed up about 3 hours later than he said he would. I did NOT get a confident feeling from him at all. I was really glad to see him leave. The 3rd company gave me a bid, but it was so outrageous I just about choked. It was impossible for one house to cost that much to paint. I was ready to give up on getting my house painted. I started asking friends and co-workers if they knew of any good painting companies. A co-worker said that her neighbors just had their house painted and it looked really nice. She gave me their name & number the next day. I checked them out online. I was impressed with their website, and I even called the BBB just for good measure. I really didn't want any other flaky paint companies coming to my house. When Kevin (from KDS Painting) came to give me a bid, he showed up exactly when he said he would. That was very reassuring. He was very nice and he spent time talking with me. He had some very helpful ideas on colors. I had a really good (and safe) feeling about this company. When they pressure washed the house, I was amazed at how thorough they were. They were very careful with all of my outdoor plants too. Kevin's brother, Darrin came the next morning to paint. I was equally comfortable with him. Both brothers are extremely nice guys. Darrin brought his bulldog with him in his work truck - what a cute dog, but now my son is begging me for a dog just like it. They did a fantastic job on my house. It looks beautiful. I am so glad that Kevin helped me choose the colors, I love it! My neighbors have all commented on how nice it looks too. Kevin and Darrin were such professionals. Not a bit of trash or paint splashes were left behind, it was as if they were never here, except for my beautiful newly painted house! I usually don't rant & rave about services that I have received on my house, but I am so happy that my co-worker gave me their name & number, I will definitely use them again and will refer everyone I know to KDS Painting.

 + -1 moreOnce they had made the bid and we gave them the go ahead, they were here on time the day they said they would be, brought their enclosed company work trailer so they had all of the equipment they needed right at curbside. They were very professional, personable and even stayed late the last day to finish the job for us. They were very careful to take steps to protect our floors and furniture. They actually finished the job ahead of their projected time. We are very satisfied with the job they did and would gladly use them again or recommend them to others.
Description of Work: KDS Painting re-painted the entire interior of our house with the colors we chose. All of the walls and ceilings.
