Description of Work: Furnace was short cycling. carryover port partially blocked by oxidation. My routine furnace maintenance company had missed this. They came at 7:00 at night...after a really long day. Changed filter, cleaned burner flame sensor. Awesome service!

Description of Work: Visited my home to trouble shoot my Carrier hi-efficiency adjustable speed furnace. Skip was very open and helpful. After inspection he referred me to Carrier factory rep because job required technical test equipment that he did not have. Did not charge for the visit because he could not do the repair. I would refer him to anyone without reservation!

 + -1 moreI had anticipated that both the old furnace and old water heater would need to be replace due to age. However, Skip took apart the furnace, inspected the heat exchanger,removed and cleaned the burners, and checked for carbon monoxide. He pronounced that the furnace was still in good condition and could last up to 10 years longer! (with regular maintenance of course). The water heater had an almost undetectable gas leak the house inspector found. Skip located the leak and tightened a fitting, and it was gone. Very knowledgeable and didn't seem to mind chatting with me and explaining items while performing doing his work.
Description of Work: Furnace Aid was sent to evaluate and fix a 17 year old furnace and a 23 year old hot water heater for a home purchase.

 + -1 moreWE ARE HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY FURNACE AID. THE TECHNICIAN WAS ON TIME. WE FELT THEY HAD A FAIR PRICE. THEIR WORK WAS GOOD QUALITY. WE WILL PROBABLY CONTINUE TO USE THEM IN THE FUTURE.
